STATEMENT ON THE LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL STUDY
I believe this historical study and journey of discovery on the tribes of Israel is very important not just from a historical perspective, but from a latter day prophetical perspective that will increase our understanding of God’s hand moving in the earthly affairs of men.
It is often difficult to see or understand what God is doing in the world. We only see the secular headlines and views of what is happening in the world. The fact is, that God is moving all events toward His ultimate ends. His will is being done on earth, just as it is in heaven. We have a difficult time believing and understanding just what God is doing in the earth. If applied properly this series of teachings will open your understanding not only to current events, but it will open the written word, the Bible, to you in fresh and exciting ways. You will see the hand of God in ways you never thought of before. You will find the Bible is truly “God’s word.” The result will be an increase in your faith and clearer understanding of the Books of the Prophets.

This study does not adhere to political correctness. I am not moved by the world’s opinion or acceptance of the truths herein. The truths in this study do not conform to the doctrine of evolution or other theories of modern academia. It only looks for the truth as simply stated in the Bible. Ultimately, science will kneel to the truths of God’s word. After all, those who discredit the Bible only have theories. We have the truth, and science in the end, will always support what God says, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” 1 Corinthians 3.19

This study also does not, and is not to be, interpreted as promoting any race above another. All people are created equal, there is no superior race. God in His sovereignty has chosen to work with a peculiar people but they are not superior to any others (Deut 7:6-8). All men who seek His mercy are welcome into the Kingdom of God without reservation. God is looking for partners to live with Him and follow His commandments. When we open our hearts to Him and follow His commandments we receive untold blessings.

This is a story of the migration of millions of people. It is difficult to know exactly what happened, but there are signs along the way that become strong circumstantial evidence. People names, customs, and events point strongly to the possiblities of this story being true. You can decide for yourself.

Western history books have little to say about Scythia, Parthia, and what happened to the Jews taken into captivity. Our history focuses on Greece and Rome rather than on what happened to some small Semitic tribes. This study along with scriptural references begins to piece together what may have happened. The prophecies to the tribes in Genesis 48 and 49 are for the "latter days". What do they mean? We will consider that question in this study. It is for you to decide if this study is true or just a story. Nevertheless, the events are historical, they are just not reported in our history books.

The identification of who the “lost” ten tribes are opens up the writings of the Old Testament Prophets. Why would God leave us so many prophetic books concerning the end times, chastisement, His great love for mankind, and judgment upon nations if it wasn’t relative to those who will be alive in the latter days? There is a reason. God is speaking to nations through those Old Testament books today. He is telling us where we are headed if the nations continue to turn away from Him. A generation is coming when God will be severely judging the nations. He will allow men to rage in their sins and in disobedience to His Word. We will, in effect, be left to our own devices--to do as we please unto one another. That will be our final judgment--then the end will come.

Understanding the difference between Judah and Israel begins to open our minds prophetically to what God is doing in world events in this hour. It also helps us to understand our identity. Specific nations which are spoken to in the Books of the Prophets can be discerned and we can begin to see what God is doing in this hour. A time of great apostasy is coming upon the earth and it is important for God’s people to understand who they are ,what they are part of, and where current events are taking them. This study may give you the answers to questions you've asked but never found answers to.

I have spent a lot of time searching for the truth and have found it in many areas but one source that is of particular interest and information are the set of four books by Steven M. Collins on this subject. I used these books extensively to put this information together in a simple way. Check out www.bibleblessings.net to learn more and order the books.

If you will take the time to meditate, pray, and look up all the Bible verses presented in this teaching you will become like the “children of Issachar which were men that understood the times, and knew what to do.” 1 Chronicles 12:32
