PREDESTINATION MADE SIMPLE

Now I’d like to put a nice, big fat cherry on top of all that you’ve been digesting in this series and I’m gonna’ keep it real simple. I am not a scholar or an academic person who has been highly educated. I don’t know a lot of terminology that is taught in University or Bible colleges. I’m just a natural born fool currently living in a small town in Pennsylvania. Lot’s of farms around here. Simple people who like to keep to themselves.
I do know that this topic of Predestination has been discussed by some of the greatest minds in the church for many centuries. I never understood just what they were talking about. It all seemed so ethereal and beyond understanding with our finite minds. It was an excise in frustration, you know.

Well, guess what? It isn’t so ethereal after all. First, just look at these scriptures written by the Apostle Paul:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Romans 8.28-30

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will… Eph 1.5

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will...Eph 1.11

God has always had a predestination plan to gather all His children together at the end of the age. If we (Israel) have lost our identities over the millennia and God decided to restore us along with Judah and true gentile nations, then this predestination thing isn’t no complicated big deal now is it?

It’s really quite simple. It’s been God’s predestinated plan to bring salvation to the earth, to keep His promises to Abraham and give us an inheritance--to the Jew first and then to the gentile. It’s no big complicated ethereal mystery! It's down right common sense! We were predestined for this moment. God had it all planned out for His glory! We were predestinated to be part of that plan! Simple! Aren't you glad!
