ONE NEW MAN

 

 

In a previous post http://burningbush647.blogspot.com/2018/01/who-was-abraham-who-is-jew-what-is.html we discovered that Abraham was called out of Chaldea to follow the one true God YHVH. He was living in a pagan society and was coming to an understanding that there was only one true God. Abraham, as we know, became the Father of the Israelites and the Father of our faith. Later in Genesis 14.13 Abraham is referred to as a “Hebrew” for the first time in scripture.

 

As I pondered this I saw that Abraham was not called a Jew, but rather a Hebrew. The word Hebrew means one who has crossed over. Abraham crossed over from paganism to faith in the one true God. He was then called a Hebrew—one who has “passed over.”

 

Throughout the Torah and Tanakh we find mention of the stranger, alien, sojourner, or temporary resident (ger Toshav) who joins him or herself with Israel and becomes part of the Israel of Elohim as one people.

 

“One law shall be to him that is home born, and unto the ger (temporary resident) that toshav (sojourns) among you” (Ex. 12:49).

 

Regardless as to what Christian or Rabbinical traditions say, Torah tells us that the Ger belongs to YHVH just as much as those who are as blood line Jews or Israelites. There was a mixed multitude at Mt. Sinai who fled Egypt along with Israel. These people who attached themselves to Israel were not to be considered second class citizens but as equals.

 

Remember, neither Caleb or Ruth, were “Jewish” by birth but both fulfilled important roles in the Kingdom of Elohim. Throughout the books of the prophets, especially in Isaiah, there are many mentions of the role the Gentiles play in the Kingdom of God.

 

“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Goy (Gentiles) seek: and his rest shall be glorious” (Isaiah 11:8).

 

“I YHWH have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house” (Isaiah 42:6, 7).

 

YHWH showed Isaiah how the Gentiles were to be brought out of paganism and all manner of false religion, and offered a heritage along with the Jewish people:

 

“Neither let the son of the stranger, that has joined himself to YHWH, speak, saying, YHWH has utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For this is what YHWH says unto the eunuchs that keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHWH, to serve him, and to love the name of YHWH, to be His servants, every one that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for mine House shall be called the House of prayer for all people. YHWH Elohim which gathers the outcasts of Israel says; Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him” (Isaiah 56:3-8).

 

We are living in the latter days and are entering into the time that these prophecies are being fulfilled:

 

“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of YHWH shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations (Goy) shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, and to the house of the El of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the Torah shall go forth of Zion, and the Word of YHWH from Jerusalem” (Micah 4:1-2)

 

Mountains are a symbol of government authority. In these days many will seek the Kingdom of God (Elohim) which will be established above all earthly man made governments. The lawlessness of this world will come to an end as the Torah becomes the law of all the earth.

 

The promises are the same to both Jew and Gentile. There is only one law for both in the Kingdom of Elohim. We are grafted into Israel—not Judaism as it is now practiced—but into the family of faith of which Abraham is our Father.

 

 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3.28-29

 

Once we receive Y’shua as our master we all become the household of Elohim.

 

The problem today is that we have forgotten what “grafted into Israel” means. After the Apostle’s died the “church” was taken over by Gentiles who had no interest in study of the Old Testament. Christianity became a “Gentile church” straying away from our “Hebrew” roots.

 

We see this already happening in the third epistle of John:

 

I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not.  Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the church.  Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 3 John 9-11

 

Already those who despised their Hebrew roots are not allowing John himself to enter the assembly! By 321 A.D. anything considered “Jewish” was banned and paganism officially infiltrated the church.

 

Notice I did not say “Jewish” roots, but rather “Hebrew” roots. Abraham was a Hebrew—he crossed over. When we accept Y’shua as Messiah we too become Hebrews. We are “born again” as we “crossover” into a living relationship with YHVH and Messiah. YHVH’s plan was always to join the Jewish people with the Gentiles becoming one new man (Ezekiel 37.15-28). That is what the joining of the two sticks represents.

 

As the “Gentile church” began to grow you will find that the church fathers who came after the Apostles never sought out the Tanakh for direction on deep issues. They often embraced Greek Mythology. In fact, that is how Purgatory became a doctrine of the church. There is no Purgatory anywhere in the Tanakh (Bible).

 

Elohim chose Abraham the Hebrew to become the Father of Faith to all who believed in Messiah. The children of Israel through Moses became responsible for receiving and spreading Elohim’s word—the Torah. That nation became Elohim’s example to the world.

 

They went into dispersion because they threw off YHVH’s law—the Torah and broke Covenant with Him by following the pagan ways. When Messiah Y’shua came the Kingdom was officially opened to the Ger or strangers.

 

Ironically, in my mind a completed “Jew” is one who receives Y’shua as master and Messiah. A Jew would vehemently argue that point! The fact, however, is that when we receive Y’shua we ALL both Jew and Gentile become HEBREWS! That is the official crossing over for all who enter into YHVH’s Kingdom.

 

The sticks of Ezekiel are joined. A nation is born. A Kingdom is established in the heart (heart circumcision) and we become a light unto the world!

 

As the world and earthly governments begin to crumble under the weight of immorality and sin YHVH expects His nation to “arise and shine” for His glory. Will He find “faith on the earth” at this time? Let us pray that He will.

 

Remarkable Identity of the German People

This is an interesting article on the identity of the German people and how it fits in with Biblical end time prophecy. I am not affiliated in any way with The Trumpet but find their studies important in trying to understand current events in Europe and Biblical prophecy.

It underpins some of the strongest prophecies in the Bible!

From its earliest editions, the Trumpet magazine has reported extensively on a particularly crucial geopolitical development. It is an event highlighted in many major biblical prophecies. Yet those who don’t understand these prophecies overlook the trend and reject our analysis.

This event is the final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire led by Germany.

Though the German nation’s rise to world-dominating power is recorded in several major prophecies, its identity has remained largely unknown because the modern German name is not the one used in the prophecies. Only when Germany’s biblical identity is revealed can one understand these prophecies and comprehend the role Germany will play on the international scene.

The key to understanding biblical prophecy is to know the prophetic identity of the world’s great powers. And the identity of Germany is—after that of the American and British people—the most important to recognize!

A united, revived Germany as the powerhouse behind Europe is once again starting to dominate world affairs. It is a position Germany historically has enjoyed with few exceptions for the past 1,500 years.

Just who are the German peoples, and where did they come from?

The Bible, the foundation of all knowledge, records that mankind first settled just north of Mesopotamia after the Flood. From there, tribes of people migrated to their current locations, where they formed our modern nations.

As they migrated, various tribes often became identified by their locations of settlement rather than the name of their tribal patriarch, as they are in the Bible. Tracking the origins of the German people means identifying the ancestor from whom they sprang.

By traveling back in time through the works of ancient scholars and archeological data, we can tell the full story of the German peoples’ migration from Mesopotamia—home of their patriarch Asshur, the father of the Assyrians—to their location today!

Even the German people—before the 1900s when they rejected the history not only of the Bible but also of their own chronicles—demonstrate in their own records that they descend from Asshur!

The Origins of Germany’s Oldest City

On the banks of the Mosel River in western Germany, just 6 miles from the Luxembourg border, is the ancient German city of Trier. The Romans claim to be the founders of this ancient city. But German tradition, and even the name of the city, suggests otherwise.

 

“On das Rotes Haus (the Red House) beside the Steipe, there is a text in Latin boasting that Trier, or Treves, is older than Rome, 1,300 years older in fact. That is when Trebeta, son of Semiramis, is said to have founded the town.” That’s what it says in the opening paragraph of the Trier Color Photo Guide to the Town.

 

The oldest city in Germany is Trier, a city whose inhabitants say was founded around 2000 B.C. by the Assyrians.

Josef K.L. Bihl writes in his German textbook In Deutschen Landen, “Trier was founded by Trebeta, a son of the famous Assyrian King Ninus. In fact, one finds … in Trier the inscription reading, ‘Trier existed for 1,300 years before Rome was rebuilt.’” To this day, this story is used to attract tourists to Trier.

According to Greek historians, the ancient Assyrian capital of Nineveh was built by Ninus. The biblical account tells us that the builder of Nineveh was Asshur, the son of Shem, who became the progenitor of the Assyrians (Genesis 10:11). Ninus is simply the Greek name for the Asshur of the Bible.

The original Ninus was Nimrod, grandson of Ham, of the black race. Asshur, son of Shem, who was white, also took the name Ninus. He is the Ninus ii of ancient historic record who founded Nineveh.

While ancient German records—such as the Bayerische Chronik, the official history of Bavaria written by Johannes Turmair of Abensberg in the 1500s, but now relegated to pure myth—reveal that some of Asshur’s descendants settled in Europe from Mesopotamia soon after the Flood, the great majority of the German people didn’t begin their migration until a much later time, when their Assyrian Empire declined and collapsed in the seventh century b.c.

Let’s now track the migratory route of these remaining Germanic peoples and see how and when they joined their Assyrian kinsmen in the land of modern Germany.

The Assyrian Empire

Anciently, the Assyrian Empire and its allies were originally located in Mesopotamia on the Upper Tigris River. The Assyrians were renowned warriors whose empire was built on perpetual warfare. Their empire stretched north from Mesopotamia all the way to Asia Minor to reach the shores of the Black Sea.

The Assyrians were a white race whose fair features made them stand out from the other people in the Middle East. Strabo, a first-century Greek geographer, noted their fair complexion, calling the Assyrians “White Syrians” (Geography).

Their empire’s power rapidly declined just before Nineveh fell in 612 b.c. During their decline, the Assyrians were forced to settle the southern shores of the Black Sea by a group of invading warriors from Central Asia. Diodorus Siculus, a Greek historian who lived in the first century b.c., wrote in his work The Library of History that by these raiders, “many of the conquered peoples were removed to other homes, and two of these became very great colonies: The one was composed of Assyrians and was removed to the land between Paphlagonia and Pontus.”

Paphlagonia and Pontus both border the southern shores of the Black Sea. The land between was called Cappadocia by Herodotus, a Greek historian of the fifth century b.c., who also confirmed the existence of its Assyrian occupants in his work titled The Histories: “The Cappadocians are known to the Greeks by the name Syrians …. This people, whom the Greeks call Syrians, are called Assyrians by the barbarians.”

By the fifth century b.c., the Assyrians were so dominant in the Black Sea area that Greek geographers actually called the region Assyria: “The coast of the Euxine [the Black Sea] … was called Assyria by S[c]ylax, the author of Periplus“ (History of Art in Sardinia, Judaea, Syria, and Asia Minor, Volume ii). The Periplus of Scylax is considered by most scholars to have been compiled in the fourth century b.c., but it was based on source material from the fifth and sixth centuries b.c., when the Assyrians began migrating into the Black Sea area (Itineraria Phoenicia).

Years later, the Assyrians were still off the shores of the Black Sea when Herodotus recorded them fighting for the Persian King Xerxes i against the Greeks in a campaign in 480 b.c. (op. cit.).

Archaeological data reveals that shortly after Xerxes’s disastrous campaign, a great migration of the Assyrian people from the Black Sea region occurred. With the Persian Empire weakening, the Assyrians moved from Asia Minor and the southern shores of the Black Sea to the sea’s northern shores—to a land called Scythia. Here they began to be called Scythians, and their identity was eventually obscured. But these people didn’t just disappear into thin air. They migrated west and underwent a name change!

Scythia

To Greek and Roman authors, Scythia was the land beyond the civilized world. The land, consisting of mainly steppes, stretched eastward from Eastern Europe all the way past the Urals and from the Baltic Sea south to the Black Sea. All the many different people who lived in the territory were labeled Scythians.

Predominant in Scythian territory were numerous tribes from two races in particular. “[T]wo major currently recognized racial types, Caucasoids and Mongoloids, are considered to have existed historically in geographical proximity on the steppe,” observes The Cambridge Ancient History (Volume iii, Part 2).

Archaeology gives further insight into the area. “Archaeologically, it is clear that the eighth- and seventh-century b.c. ‘Scythians’ were not the same as the fifth-century ‘Scythians.’ Both were mounted elite war-bands originating in the more easterly regions of the steppe, and the Greeks, quite naturally, called both groups by the same name” (ibid.).

The composition of Scythia’s population was open to much change over time as new tribes moved in and out of the area. Central Asia, with its vast steppes, has served as a gigantic crossroads for different nomadic people, some of whom, such as the Huns and Mongols, once established large empires stretching far into the east and west. Anciently, Scythia was the same way, a land where different tribes and races of nomadic warrior bands traveled.

Archaeology shows five major phases in the area between 750 and 250 b.c., “with a fresh nomadic component arriving in three of them: 750-650 b.c. (‘Cimmerians’ and ‘Scythians’); 475-430 b.c. (‘Scythians’); and 300-250 b.c. (‘Sarmatians’)” (ibid.). These great migrations were the effects of great population displacement in the Middle and Near East resulting from the collapse of various empires and kingdoms. (They even included the movement of the Israelites following their overthrow by Assyria.)

When Herodotus wrote his Histories, he would have had knowledge of the first two of those new settlements. The first phase would have been recent history for him—like the settlement of the Americas by the Europeans is today. The second phase was current—like the breakup of Yugoslavia is today, though it was right after his death that this second phase really began to flourish in Scythia, with most of the spectacular archaeology material dating to the later fifth century b.c.

Herodotus confirms this fresh phase of nomadic settlement: “The Scythians say their nation is the youngest of all the nations.”

It is clear that the Germanic people comprised, at least in part, this second phase of Scythian migration. We can know this because Roman records show the Germanic people first began invading central and western Europe in the late second century b.c., soon after their northern move.

Archaeology confirms these Scythians migrating all the way into Germany proper. “Nomads and fierce warriors, they lived in Central Asia … and their culture spread westward to southern Russia and Ukraine, and even into Germany …” wrote Mike Edwards in National Geographic (June 2003). This German migration would have been a result of the pressure that the newest migrants into Scythia, such as the Sarmatians, were placing on the Germanic people who occupied the territory. After the Sarmatians began to move in during the third century b.c., the Germanic people were forced further west.

The dislocation of such a large population took time. Though the first tribes appeared in Roman records during the late second century b.c., it would take another several hundred years for the bulk of the Germanic people to finally reach the end of their long migration.

Even in the first century a.d., with this migration still occurring, the Germans were feeling pressure from the Sarmatians. “All Germania is divided from Gaul, Raetia and Pannonia by the Rhine and Danube rivers; from the Sarmatians and the Dacians by shared fear and mountains,” wrote Tacitus, a Roman historian of the first century, in his history of the Germans, Germania.

Thus, archaeology provides the evidence, chronology and the catalyst for the German migration out of the Black Sea region—and subsequent invasion of the Roman Empire!

A New Name

During this migration, the Assyrians were lumped in with the other Scythian occupants. Then, when they arrived on the Roman scene, they acquired a new name.

Roman historian Pliny the Elder, a contemporary of Strabo, explains what happened to the Assyrian people who migrated through this crossroads: “The name ‘Scythian’ has extended, in every direction, even to the Sarmatæ and the Germans; but this ancient appellation is now only given to those who dwell beyond those nations, and live unknown to nearly all the rest of the world” (The Natural History).

Josephus, a first-century Jewish historian, wrote this of a Germanic tribe called the Alans: “[T]here was a nation of the Alans, which we have formerly mentioned somewhere as being Scythians and inhabiting at the Lake Meotis” (Josephus, 7.4). The Alans lived off Lake Meotis, which is the ancient name for the Sea of Azov that is linked by a narrow strait to the northeast of the Black Sea.

As different Scythian people became known through warfare and trade, the Greeks and Romans gave them new names. This happened to the Germanic tribes during the second and first centuries b.c., when the Roman generals called these fierce tribes they battled Germani, meaning “war man” or “warrior.”

The same tribes that Greek historian Herodotus of the fifth century b.c. called Scythians, Pliny, Tacitus and Strabo of the first century a.d. called Germans. (Interestingly, however, even in Pliny’s time, the first century a.d., there were still remnants of the Assyrians on the north side of the Black Sea who had not yet invaded the Roman Empire and evidently kept their Assyrian name: “At the river Carcinites, Scythia Taurica [modern-day Crimea] begins … being inhabited by the … Assyrani.” [Note: Some manuscripts replace Assryani with Lagryani, giving more evidence of names changing.])

More Proof

Before German rationalism was introduced into academia and the biblical record was rejected, scholars knew exactly from where the Germanic people migrated. “[T]here can be no doubt that they … migrated into Europe from the Caucasus and the countries around the Black and Caspian seas” (A Classical Dictionary of Biography, Mythology and Geography, “Germania”).

It may seem strange today to think of German people dwelling on the Black Sea coast, but even during Roman times, Germanic tribes occupied territory that extended far beyond the borders of modern-day Germany.

Tacitus wrote of one such tribe, the Quadi, dwelling along the Danube River.

Strabo described German people living farther southeast, with one Germanic tribe, the Bastarnians, as far east as the Dnieper River, a major river that drains into the Black Sea.

From the Danube and the Black Sea, Germanic tribes once occupied land all the way north to the Baltic Sea and west to the Rhine River. So when the Germanic people were invading the Roman Empire, they were attacking not just from the north but from the east as well!

Jerome, the writer who gave us the Vulgate translation of the Bible, was an eyewitness to these invasions in the mid-fourth century a.d. He writes: “Savage tribes in countless numbers have overrun all parts of Gaul. The whole country between the Alps and the Pyrenees, between the Rhine and the ocean, has been laid waste by hordes of Quadi, Vandals, Sarmatians, Alans, Gepids, Herules, Saxons, Burgundians, Allemanni and … even Pannonians” (Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, Jerome Letter 123, Section 16).

Remarkably, in this same letter, Jerome wrote, “Assuralso is joined with them.” Some say Jerome was using poetic license by quoting Psalm 83:8, but based on all the similarities of the people and the histories quoted that were available to scholars at the time, it becomes clear that Jerome was calling them actual Assyrians. Assur is another biblical name for Asshur, as any concordance will show.

According to modern and ancient historians, these tribes listed—most of which were Germanic—came from the Black Sea region. The Cambridge Ancient History lists all of these tribes as attacking from the east, mainly from the Danube region.

Thus, the history of the German people is made plain through the Roman and Greek writers.

The Clincher

Without a doubt, the Germans are modern-day Assyrians! The Germans themselves say so in their ancient history. A Roman scholar wrote that the Germans were Assyrians. The Black Sea shores—the same area where the historians and scholars from before the 1900s said the German people migrated from—are shown to have had Assyrians dwelling on both sides by Roman and Greek historians.

The Germans and Assyrians share the same physical features, the same warlike tendencies and even certain characteristics in art.

On top of all that, there is the overwhelmingly strong proof of prophecy! Only one nation today could fulfill the prophecies of the Bible that pertain to the Assyrians, and that is Germany! Understanding the identity of the German people in prophecy opens up the grave meaning of whole swaths of inspired Scripture. Those prophecies were recorded in order to be understood in our day—as a powerful warning from the great Creator God!

ORIGIN OF THE NAME EUROPA

As we have seen in the previous postings on Washington, D.C. and other cities, the spirit of antichrist is in the air and working (1 John 2.15-19) to establish a “new world order” based on Lucifer’s rebellion.

Prophetic information found in the Bible is hidden in plain sight throughout the world. The history of the European Continent is a great example of this. The history is based upon ancient Greek pagan mythology. The European project uses art, buildings and images that align with the Biblical description of the rise of antichrist. It is all hidden in plain sight:

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman seated upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. Revelation 17.3

A woman in the Bible is a type of an apostate religious organization. A beast is a type of rebellious nations. It is all developing in plain sight for us all to see. The following information was gathered from Wikipedia

In Greek mythology, Europa was a Phoenician princess who was abducted by Zeus in bull form and taken to the island of Crete, where she gave birth to Minos. For Homer, Europa (Greek: Ευρώπη) was a mythological queen of Crete, not a geographical designation. Later Europa stood for mainland Greece and by 500 BC its meaning was extended to lands to the north.

The term Europe is generally derived from Greek words meaning broad (eurys) and face (ops). A minority, however, see a Semitic origin, pointing to the Akkadian word gharoob or erebu which means "sunset". From a Middle Eastern viewpoint, the sun sets over Europe: the lands to the west. Likewise, Asia is also thought to have derived from the Akkadian word asu, which means "sunrise" and is the land to the east from a Mesopotamian perspective. Wikipedia article "Europe".

In Greek mythology, Europa was the mother of King Minos of Crete, a woman of Phoenician origin, after whom the continent Europe is named. The story of her abduction by Zeus in the form of a bull was a Cretan story; as classicist Károly Kerényi points out, "most of the love-stories

concerning Zeus originated from more ancient tales describing his marriages with goddesses. This can especially be said of the story of Europa."

Astarte and Europa

In the territory of Phoenician Sidon, Lucian of Samosata (2nd century AD) was informed that the temple of Astarte, whom Lucian equated with the moon goddess, was sacred to Europa: There is likewise in Phœnicia a temple of great size owned by the Sidonians. They call it the temple of Astarte. I hold this Astarte to be no other than the moon-goddess.

But according to the story of one of the priests this temple is sacred to Europa, the sister of Cadmus. She was the daughter of Agenor, and on her disappearance from Earth the Phœnicians honoured her with a temple and told a sacred legend about her; how that Zeus was enamoured of her for her beauty, and changing his form into that of a bull carried her off into Crete.

This legend I heard from other Phœnicians as well; and the coinage current among the Sidonians bears upon it the effigy of Europa sitting upon a bull, none other than Zeus. Thus they do not agree that the temple in question is sacred to Europa.

Sources differ in details regarding Europa's family, but agree that she is Phoenician, and from a lineage that descended from Io, the mythical nymph beloved of Zeus, who was transformed into a heifer. She is generally said to be the daughter of Agenor, the Phoenician King of Tyre; the Syracusan poet Moschus makes her mother Queen Telephassa ("far-shining") but elsewhere her mother is Argiope ("white-faced"). 

Europa riding the bull

The mythology tells that Zeus was enamored of Europa and decided to seduce or ravish her, the two being near-equivalent in Greek myth. He transformed himself into a tame white bull and mixed in with her father's herds. While Europa and her helpers were gathering flowers, she saw the bull, caressed his flanks, and eventually got onto his back. Zeus took that opportunity and ran to the sea and swam, with her on his back, to the island of Crete. He then revealed his true identity, and Europa became the first queen of Crete. Zeus gave her a necklace made by Hephaestus and additional gifts. 

The myth of Europa and Zeus may have its origin in a sacred union between the Phoenician deities `Aštar and `Aštart (Astarte), in bovine form. Having given birth to three sons by Zeus, Europa married a king Asterios, this being also the name of the Minotaur and an epithet of Zeus, likely derived from the name `Aštar.

According to Herodotus' rationalizing approach, Europa was kidnapped by Greeks (probably Cretans) who were seeking to avenge the kidnapping of Io, a princess from Argos. His variant story may have been an attempt to rationalize the earlier myth; or the present myth may be a garbled version of facts—the abduction of a Phoenician aristocrat—later enunciated without gloss by Herodotus.

Jürgen Fischer, in Oriens-Occidens-Europa summarized how the name came into use, supplanting the oriens–occidens dichotomy of the later Roman Empire, which was expressive of a divided empire, Latin in the West, Greek in the East.

In the 8th century, ecclesiastical uses of "Europa" for the imperium of Charlemagne provide the source for the modern geographical term. The first use of the term Europenses, to describe peoples of the Christian, western portion of the continent, appeared in the Hispanic Latin Chronicle of 754, sometimes attributed to an author called Isidore Pacensis in reference to the Battle of Tours fought against Muslim forces.

The European Union has also used Europa as a symbol of pan-Europeanism, notably by naming its web portal after her and depicting her on the Greek €2 coin and on several gold and silver commemorative coins (e.g. the Belgian €10 European Expansion coin).

Her name appeared on postage stamps celebrating the Council of Europe, which were first issued in 1956. The second series of euro banknotes is known as the Europa Series and bears her likeness in the watermark and hologram.

We are living in a dynamic prophetic times as the world moves toward its “new order” of government to replace the government of Yahweh. The word of God has it all covered. Our God reigns!

 

WHO IS THE REAL QUEEN OF HEAVEN?

If we look into a book on sacred iconography which was standard in the 18^th Century we will find John Bell's “New Pantheon: Or, Historical Dictionary of the Gods, Demi-gods, Heroes, and Fabulous Personages of Antiquity”.

In this book are some epithets to a goddess named Myrionyma lifted by John Bell from a classical work by Apuleius was a Latin-language prose writer, Platonist philosopher and rhetorician.

It is the Virgin Queen speaking:

I am nature…mistress of the elements…It is I who govern the luminous firmament of the heaven, the salutary breezes of the sea…the Egyptians honor me with peculiar ceremonies, and call me by my true name Isis…I am Isis, Queen of Egypt, instructed by Mercury…I first invented the use of corn…I shine in the dog star. Ref: The secret Architecture of our Nation’s Capital. David Ovason, page 308.

Isis was the original incarnation of the Biblical Queen of Heaven. From Isis onward she is the goddess with a thousand names. Virgo, Athena, Ishtar, Minerva, and Juno to mention a few. The Queen of Heaven is the goddess spirit throughout the various ages of human existence.

She is behind the various visions of the Virgin Mary which have manifested in recent times. A false angel or spirit to deceive and lead the nations into paganism.

She is the spirit of Jezebel which controls and seizes authority in various assemblies. It all begins in Biblical Egypt with the goddess Isis—the Queen of Heaven.

The Queen of Heaven is also revealed in visions of Mary! These visions or appearances are not of Jesus’ mother, but they are false angels. How do we know this?

In the Biblical accounts when an angel appears to a man, and the man falls down to worship the angel, the angelic being will tell the man to stand up, “I am not God.” Reference Revelation 10.10: At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus."

The angel says he is a servant. He tells John to worship God.

The apparitions of Mary love to be worshipped. Accounts of these appearances confirm this. Not only do they love to be worshipped, they take credit for bringing salvation to the world. There is only one savior—Jesus Christ.

Mary the mother of Jesus is a mortal. She said so in Luke 2.46-48 when she declared God was her savior: Then Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saving Health, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden; for, behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed.”

Don’t be fooled by false visions and angels. There is one true God and salvation is through Jesus Christ and only Him. Don’t be deceived. Seek the Lord.

 

THE GOD OF FORCES

 “The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt himself and consider himself greater than any god, and he will utter monstrous blasphemies against the God of gods. He will prosper only until the period of wrath is over, for what has been determined must take place. He will show no respect for the gods his ancestors worshipped, or for the god women worship — he won’t show respect for any god, because he will consider himself greater than all of them. But instead, he will honor the god of strongholds; with gold, silver, precious stones and other costly things he will honor a god unknown to his ancestors. He will deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. He will confer honor on those he acknowledges, causing them to rule over many and distributing land as a reward. Daniel 11.36-39

Forces – Hebrew = Moaz = refuge, stronghold, place of protection, strength, most strong.

Wicca (English: /ˈwɪkə/), also termed Pagan Witchcraft, is a contemporary Pagan new religious movement. It was developed in England during the first half of the 20th century and was introduced to the public in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant. Wicca draws upon a diverse set of ancient pagan and 20th-century hermetic motifs for its theological structure and ritual practices.

Wicca has no central authority figure. Its traditional core beliefs, principles and practices were originally outlined in the 1940s and 1950s by Gardner and Doreen Valiente, both in published books and in secret written and oral teachings passed along to their initiates. There are many variations on the core structure, and the religion grows and evolves over time. It is divided into a number of diverse lineages, sects and denominations, referred to as traditions, each with its own organisational structure and level of centralisation. Due to its decentralized nature, there is some disagreement over what actually constitutes Wicca. Some traditions, collectively referred to as British Traditional Wicca, strictly follow the initiatory lineage of Gardner and consider the term Wicca to apply only to similar traditions, but not to newer, eclectic traditions.

Wicca is typically duotheistic, worshipping a Goddess and a God. These are traditionally viewed as the Moon Goddess and the Horned God, respectively. These deities may be regarded in a henotheistic way, as having many different divine aspects which can in turn be identified with many diverse pagan deities from different historical pantheons. For this reason, they are sometimes referred to as the "Great Goddess" and the "Great Horned God", with the adjective "great" connoting a deity that contains many other deities within their own nature. These two deities are sometimes viewed as facets of a greater pantheistic divinity, which is regarded as an impersonal force or process rather than a personal deity. While duotheism or bitheism is traditional in Wicca, broader Wiccan beliefs range from polytheism to pantheism or monism, even to Goddess monotheism.

Wiccan celebrations encompass both the cycles of the Moon, known as Esbats and commonly associated with the Goddess (female deity), and the cycles of the Sun, seasonally based festivals known as Sabbats and commonly associated with the Horned God (male deity). An unattributed statement known as the Wiccan Rede is a popular expression of Wiccan morality, although it is not universally accepted by Wiccans. Note the description of the two deities as being regarded as an impersonal force rather than a personal deity. Many of the religions of “Mystery Babylon” view God as an impersonal deity. Islam, for instance, believes that God has no son. God, to a Muslim, is a remote supreme being with which they can have no personal relationship.

In the Masonic Craft it is only required that an initiate believe in a “Supreme Being” prior to induction. This being can initially be viewed as an impersonal being. As the initiate progresses in the craft he will learn that this “supreme being” is really Lucifer, the “Bearer of Light” and all wisdom.

All of the above “religions” worship multiple gods and goddess. The fact that these can also be regarded as an “impersonal force” rather than a personal deity is quite interesting when compared to Daniel 11.36-39.

Could the “god of forces” reflect these various pagan religions which are alive and well in our day?

The Antichrist shows no regard for the gods his ancestors worshipped. This would include Yahweh and His only begotten Son Yeshua—God incarnate. His god will be a “god of forces” which is an impersonal supreme being. The Antichrist will attempt to transform himself into god. This is the foreign god He will become—impersonal to all who do not submit. He will confer honor on those he acknowledges, causing them to rule over many and distributing land as a reward.

This brings to mind Joel 3.1-2: For, behold, in those days and in that time when I shall cause the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem to end,  I will gather together all the Gentiles, and will cause them to descend into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and there I will enter into judgment with them because of my people and of my heritage Israel, whom they scattered among the nations, and divided my land.

In the Book of 1 Maccabees it describes the time Daniel is speaking of in Chapter 11. The Greek King, Antiochus IV set up a statue of Zeus in the sanctuary of the Jewish Temple. The god dear to women was the Mesopotamian god Tammuz (Ezek 8.14).

Setting up Zeus in the Temple was alien both to Jewish and the ruling Seleucid dynasty, which had previously favored Apollo as their patron deity.

The Antichrist will consider himself above all gods of all religions and secret societies—but his religion will be based upon and incorporate the ancient mystery religions of “Mystery Babylon” which we have featured in the previous postings. The Antichrist will build it around HIMSELF and it will seem foreign to the inhabitants of the earth.

This is a way to look at and understand the time of the tribulation and the events of that time. This man will wage war on those who have the testimony of Yeshua but a place of safety will be provided for the remnant at this time:

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of the great eagle that she might fly from the presence of the serpent into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times.

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a river after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away by the river. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon had cast out of his mouth.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12.12-17

We are not raptured out—we will be waging intercessional war against the dragon in a wilderness “place.” This “place” is a place of captivity which in reality is a place of safety. Yeshua will take captivity captive and lead us out of Bozrah, the sheep pen place of safety, when He returns! Isaiah 63.1-4; Micah 2.12-13.

Think critically on these things and understand the time which is to come.
