IS CIVIL WAR BREWING IN THE UNITED STATES?

 

Recently President Trump’s White House Press representative, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant because she worked for President Trump. The divide between the right and left was the reason this happened. This divide is becoming more vocal and dangerous each day.

Congressional Representative Maxine Watters is calling for people to harass those who represent the conservative view. Her actions are disturbing and potentially harmful to a person’s life. Civility in politics and the nation in general is less and less the normal way of life in America.

At this point obviously the left are the most vocal and demonstrative in their actions. They cannot accept the fact that half the country voted for President Trump and since his election have been doing everything in their power to disrupt his term in office. This behavior will have long lasting ramifications—it most likely will continue to worsen. Once something like this gets moving the other side will up the ante. This will result in a civil war and blood in the streets.

This blog tries to interpret these events from a Biblical standpoint. What we are really seeing is a nation turning away from the laws of God and towards anarchy. The nation is acting like spoiled brats. If we don’t get our way we are going to take issue. We have become an “in your face” people. No one cares about law and civility because corruption is rampant.

In fact, most politicians are not making the effort to truly address the problems that need correction. They are our representatives. We elected them and they are a reflection of us.

Demagoguery is the plan of action. Anyone with a good idea or solution is demonized and attacked. There is no serious discussion or solutions proposed. I must give President Trump credit for boldly addressing many issues that have long been festering in our nation. You all see how he has been demonized, but whether you like him or not, he has been facing many of these issues head on. Very few politicians are willing to stick out their necks like he does.

The recent issue of illegal immigrants being separated from their children has been around since Bill Clinton was President. It festered under President Obama as he refused to address it—but it now is all President Trump’s fault. Congress is supposed to create and write laws that address these problems. When is the last time they worked at their jobs? They are more interested in pandering to their constituents than fixing problems.

Lawlessness reigns. Even in many Christian churches you hear, “We are not under the law anymore.” Most of these believers have no idea what the law is or means. Yeshua said:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.  For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5.17-20

Read those verses above very carefully. They have much more meaning then we have been taught in church. These issues have all been featured on this blog. If we allow the Bible to interpret it self, and take Yeshua at His word, there is much more to obeying God’s law than we have been taught. We are living in very lawless times.

God established the borders of countries (Deuteronomy 32.7-9) and divided unto the nations their inheritance. Nations are responsible to be good stewards of their national inheritance. We don’t see this law being carried out in many nations.

Those who immigrate are supposed to come to the new country because they love the country and are willing to serve the foster country. In the book of Ruth we see an example of a Moabitess who accepts Israel’s God and customs. She is an example of how an immigrant should embrace their new country.

We allow people in who want to cause unrest and trouble. They are not coming to help us. We allow so many poor immigrants to flood in that we are doing a disservice to our home born poor. They have less financial opportunities because the poor immigrants will work for less and under the table.

Since God established borders He also frowns upon changing or moving borders. Borders are supposed to be secure and protected. If every country in the world was just and righteous with their inheritance there would not be floods of immigrants trying to come in. Deuteronomy 19.14, 27.17, Job 24.42, Hosea 5.10

Once an immigrant enters a country legally, and has a heart to love their new country, they are to be recognized as if they were born in their new home country. Leviticus 18.26; 20.2; 22.18; 24.16; and note Numbers 19.14

It is clear in God’s word that immigration is OK. It is also clear that an immigrant is supposed to embrace the county he or she is entering—then they qualify to be treated as equals.

The nations of the world refuse to rightly divide and interpret Elohim’s commands in His law on the immigration issue. His commands are simple and clear. These laws are just one example of how the world refuses to rightly and justly interpret and implement God’s law as written in His WORD.

Civil war is brewing because there are many conflicting agendas in the hearts of humankind. We are entering the period that Yeshua and the Apostle Paul called the “great apostasy.” Matt .9-11; 2 Thessalonians 2.1-12; 1 Timothy 4.1; 2 Timothy 4.3-4; 2 Peter 2.1-3

Today we see the churches straying far from the written word and allowing most anything in their assemblies. I don’t really have to go into detail—you all know. If you have grandchildren you should be very concerned about the direction the nation and the church is headed. The true believers will not be represented by those sitting in the pews of mega churches—they will be hard pressed as Yeshua prophesied.

If our country continues to turn from God then He will allow us to suffer the results. We are moving into dangerous territory. He who has ears to hear will be seeking the Father and preparing themselves for the conflict ahead. God will have His remnant bring glory to His Name.

He has to chastise us. If He didn’t what kind of Father would He be?

A PEACE PLAN FOR THE MIDDLE EAST IS ALWAYS IN THE WORKS

Someday there will truly be peace. When it comes it will bring glory to Elohim.

 

US President Donald Trump’s special adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner has been developing a US-designed peace deal to Palestinians which he plans to soon reveal after the US Embassy's move to Jerusalem derailed relations and negotiations in the region.

Kushner, who is on the last leg of his Middle East tour, spoke to the popular Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds, claiming he is “ready to work” with leader Mahmoud Abbas, who, in his turn, is refusing to meet with Kushner as long as Washington is “changing the rules of the game” midway.

"If President Abbas is ready to go back to the negotiations table, then we are ready to participate in the discussion, but if it’s not the case, then we are going to make the plan public,” Kushner said, according to Reuters. He was referring to the US “deal of the century” on how to forge peace in the Middle East.

Without shedding any additional light on its details, the adviser said that the deal would bring “large investments in the infrastructure from both the private and the public sectors” to improve the Palestinian economy. Kushner pointed the finger at Abbas, as the party that is unwilling to take up negotiations:“I question President Abbas’ ability, or desire, to finish the deal. He has the same talking points that haven’t changed in the past 25 years. A peace hasn’t been achieved during that period,” he said.

Kushner represented the White House at the grand opening of the newly-inaugurated US Embassy in Jerusalem on March 15, 2018. The event caused fierce clashes between the Israeli military and Palestinian protesters on Israel’s border that left over 100 people dead and thousands injured. The decision to move the embassy drew the ire of the whole Muslim world and dealt a blow to the already feeble Israel-Arab peace process.

A Palestinian negotiator said on Friday that Palestine is not buying into the US peace proposal anymore, since Washington’s deeds on the ground speak louder than its words. They are upset that the US Embassy move declares Jerusalem the capital of Israel. The Palestinians view as a Jewish “occupied” city and are demanding East Jerusalem be their capital in any peace deal.

The main problem in negotiating a peace deal is that the Palestinians refuse to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist or live in any territory in the Holy Land. They don’t want any Jews in the territory. It is very difficult to come to terms if one party refuses to acknowledge the right to exist.

Original mandate and division of lands

The territories of Gaza and the West Bank and more were to become Arab lands in the 1947 United Nations mandate. The Arabs and Palestinians would not agree to this deal, but the Jews said OK. Immediately after the Israel declaring their independence as a nation, the Arab nations attacked expecting to wipe them out. It is ironic that the original deal gave the Jews a much smaller territory then they now control. If the Arabs and Palestinians had been willing to co-exist they could be living in peace together now. The Arab world is not content to allow Jews in any of their nations. Jews allow Arabs to live in Israel—that is a fact.

Looking at the map above it is clear that the Palestinians have been losing ground in this argument. Could it be because they and their Arab brothers are acting like a petulant sibling who cannot get their way? Could their refusal to accept the Father's plan for the land and people be the reason they are losing ground? 


The UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency) has had to scale back its assistance to Palestine refugees in Gaza after the US, which was the agency’s biggest donor, slashed its contribution by $250 million. The agency is “weeks away from painful cuts to its emergency assistance for Gaza and elsewhere in the region,” UN envoy Nickolay Mladenov said at a UN Security Council meeting this week.

What you don’t hear in the news is that most of this money goes into training and aiding terrorists, digging tunnels, and teaching their children to hate Jews. Golda Meir once said: “There will only be peace if the Arabs love their children more than they hate Jews.” Sadly that day has not arrived.

Capital issue

Kushner said that the proposal is still in the works, only promising that it will be ready “soon.” Speculations have long been swirling that the plan might include terms deemed unacceptable by Ramallah.

In December, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh claimed that the plan would involve making the tiny Arab village of Abu Dis in the West Bank the capital of the future Palestinian State instead of East Jerusalem.

Abbas, meanwhile, insists that any talks should be based on the Arab Peace Initiative, an Arab League-sponsored proposal to end the conflict that was adopted in 2002. The document clearly states that the future Palestinian State should be established in territories occupied by Israel since 1967, with East Jerusalem as the capital.

It’s unknown if the US is still pushing for its initial proposal, with Kushner, who has been on a Middle Eastern tour that included Jordan, Egypt and Qatar, saying that the countries’ leaders made it clear to him that “they want to see a Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital.”

God’s Desire

If we use the Bible as our guide we can say that Arabs and Jews are half-brothers. They claim the same father, Abraham, as theirs. Isaac and Ishmael have been contentious for about 4,000 years. Jacob and Esau are twins who make up the other side of the family—they too have not been able to live together. The conflict goes back to the Biblical account and has been raging ever since.

God determined that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were the ones through whom the promises and land were given. The Old Testament and Jewish people were granted the inheritance by Elohim. Jesus said, “Salvation is of the Jews.”

Christianity was birthed out of the Jews. Christians, and anyone who accepts Yeshua, are grafted into the “Commonwealth of Israel” but most do not truly understand this truth. Grafted in means we become part of God’s nation. It means we become partakers with the original partakers. All this is explained throughout this blog. All who accept Yeshua as Lord and savior are grafted in and become "one new man."

Islam did not become a religion until around 624 AD. If you read the Koran there are many references to Judaism and Christianity. Many Muslim beliefs are based on the Bible. In my opinion, Islam was birthed out of Judaism and Christianity. Mohammed mixed the two former religions adding to them and Islam was birthed. It is quite obvious.

We have the Old Testament Bible which goes back at least 2,500 years, probably much more, and the Christian New Testament which is 2,000 years old. The Koran is a relatively new religion and book, only 1,400 years old and obviously highly influenced by the two books which came before.

The Bible records that Ishmael became 12 tribes and was blessed by God. Esau became a great enemy of ancient Israel and still is today—but God desires to bless them also. God’s true desire is that these brothers would live in peace and receive His great blessings. That they too would be grafted in. That is the simple plan.

The conflict will not be resolved until that day. Mankind is incapable of working this problem out—only Elohim can fix it—and He will. Sadly there will be much blood shed until that day. At the appointed time the “Holy One of Israel” will return and establish the true peace.

Each of the three great religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have a Messiah figure. Which one is the true Messiah? The Bible truths, which these religions all share in some manner, point to Yeshua as the “Aanointed One” of Elohim. The world will soon come to accept this fact—it was written thousands of years ago—only you can decide. If you don’t believe in the Bible the point is moot—but it is going to come to pass.

The nations rage and refuse to yield to the Father of all mankind. The great religions of the world will clash and refuse to acknowledge Elohim’s will and desire for them. He alone will come and rule the nations. He alone will receive the honor and glory due Him and His son Yeshua.

Only then will the nations receive the blessings they now refuse to accept. It will be a most difficult lesson for Humanity and the half-brothers to learn.
