President Trump to Reveal Peace Plan for Israel and Palestinians Soon

Check out the link above for more.

Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz the two competing politicians in Israel and in Washington DC to discuss the Trump administrations Israel Peace plan today. They will each have a private meeting with President Trump.

No matter what it is the Palestinians will not agree to it. This will really have the media and Middle East roiled. No matter, it is going to be a new approach and it will cause many people to be upset.

It is all part of end time prophetic events unfolding before our eyes. Before Yeshua returns to establish His kingdom on this earth there will be much blood shed.

The world cannot accept God's law and way of doing things. The three major world religions of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are on a collision course in Israel.

It is all about religion whether we like that or not.

Elohim is going to reveal His glory to the nations through all of this terrible time. Sadly the world cannot accept the one true Elohim without going to war.

Yeshua will return and they will go to war with him as it is written in Revelation. This is the only way the world knows. It cannot be any other way.

The day of the Lord will be like nothing the world has ever seen. It will be a terrible day. Read the Book of Amos.

The good news is that "after the smoke clears" there will finally be true peace.

Amen

THE MYSTERY OF THE NUMBER 10 IN THE BIBLE

The Hebrew alphabet consists of 22 letters with each letter having its own numeric value. Just as each letter in the alphabet has its own meaning and sometimes more than one, the numbers each have their own significance. In Hebrew Numerology, called Gematria, each letter is given a numerical equivalence corresponding to the letters, words or phrases.

The ancient Jewish sages who were entrusted with the Word of God studied incessantly. They pondered over the meaning of words and numbers when deciphering the Holy Scriptures. Many of their conclusions are spiritually breath taking and help us understand the nature of Elohim.

I try to sift through a lot of this stuff in my studies. We really do have to sift or winnow through it all because some of the things the ancient sages came up with are just mere stories with no scriptural background as proof. So I look for things that witness to and are written in the word. I am not into “oral law” as I try to follow what is written. That is how I sift through the writings and conclusions of the wise ancient sages.

If you study in this manner and allow the Bible, the written Word, to interpret itself you are using discernment in you study.

Ten is the number of Divine order, as we discern from the Ten Commandments. Ten is a number which has a prominent role in the Scriptures, where it represents the “Perfection of Divine order.” It is the “completeness of order” because it marks a complete round. After ten, the numbers start all over again, as with 11, 12, etc.

In addition to the Ten Commandments giving us our Creator’s instruction as to how to live by His perfect standards, there are many other significant tens in Scripture. There were the Ten Plagues sent upon Egypt that represented the full cycle of GOD’s (YHVH’s) judgment upon Pharaoh, his gods, and his people, according to Exodus 9:14.

There were the ten tests, or rebellions of our forefathers, the children of Israel, in the wilderness. The tenth rebellion involved the bad report given by ten of the 12 spies send out by Moses to spy out the Promised Land.

Ten men getting hold of the skirt of a Jewish man. Perhaps one of the most significant examples is found in the Book of Zechariah 8.23, where the prophet refers to the people from the Ten Lost Tribes (i.e. Christians/Gentiles), approaching the people from the tribe of Judah by pulling on the skirts of a Jew. Hebrew roots move is an example.

The reference to the TEN men from all the nations and languages appears to be an indirect reference to the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel seeking some sort of reconciliation with their Jewish brothers. Also see Ezekiel 37.15-28. Zechariah highlights the return of our Messiah to Jerusalem in verses 3 & 4 of the same chapter, and the term ‘in those days’ is a reference to the end times!

There is also the tithe or the tenth part of our increase that we are to give.

All humans have two hands with five fingers on each hand. Lose a finger or a hand and any task becomes difficult. We would not be complete. We work with both hands—sets of five. Just as the ten commands were given on two tablets of five. Divine order

Let’s look at some New Testament examples, which indirectly point us to the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel.

There are the ten virgins in the parable in Matthew 25; five of which were wise and were prepared for their wedding and five foolish who were unprepared. Both were believers but not all were prepared.

Five is the number of grace and five also represents the Five Books of Moses, or Torah. The Ten Commandments were given in two tablets of 5 commands each. God’s grace and law.

In the Gospel of Luke, Yeshua relates the Parable of the Ten Minas. Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.” So he called TEN of his servants, delivered to them TEN minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.” But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, “We will not have this man to reign over us.” (Luke 19:12-14)

This parable is about both Judah/Jews and Israel/Ephraim/Gentiles the lost ten tribes. Many Christians think it is only about the Jewish people, but we know that is not so. Yeshua actually gave us the reason why He had come: “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Remember: We are grafted into Israel.

Yeshua is not addressing the house of Judah here, but rather is speaking to His scattered sheep of the house of Israel/Ephraim/Gentiles!

We find further evidence when we search for the hidden meaning in the Parable of the Lost Coin. In Luke 15 Yeshua relates the Parable of the Lost Coin, as follows: Or what woman, having TEN SILVER COINS, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? (Luke 15:8, NKJV).

Notice, once again we witness this extraordinary and repeated reference to the number TEN! Truly, if we can but grasp the significance and the Mystery of the Gospel of the Kingdom, we will instantly recognize each reference to the number Ten, as being an allegorical reference to the lost house of Israel! It is Yeshua’s Divine commission to bring them back to the Father and after this to the Land. This will be an end time regathering!

In the Bible silver as a metal denotes refinement and redemption. The ten silver coins refer to the redemption of Israel. Silver invariably has to go through a process of refinement, which allegorically refers to the Father molding His people through affliction and testing. (Jer. 9:7; Dan. 11:35; Zech. 13:9; Hos. 1:10 & Mal. 3:3).

A few more examples of ten:

10 righteous men could have saved Sodom from destruction.

10 blessings were given by Isaac to Jacob:

1.     G-d give you the dew of heaven

2.     The fat of the land

3.     Plenty of grain

4.     And wine

5.     Nations shall serve you

6.     And bow down to you

7.     You shall be master over your brothers

8.     And your mother’s sons shall bow down to you

9.     A curse to all who curse you

10.  A blessing to all who bless you

10 incidents tried Elohim’s patience in the wilderness, 10 spies gave a false report about the land, 10 strings were made for David’s harp, 10 menorah’s lit Solomon’s Temple, 10 tribes exiled to Assyria, 10 lions were in the den with Daniel, 10 sons of Haman were hanged, 10 days of repentance between Feast of Trumpets and Day of Atonement.

We can see there is a Divine order and completeness in the number 10. There is also a division. Two tablets of stone with five commands on each. The first five have to do with our relationship with Elohim. The second five with our relationships with one another.

We see five wise virgins and five foolish. Ten silver coins, one lost and found. Twelve spies, ten with a bad report, two with a good report.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4.12

There can only be perfection of Divine Order through division. There can never be true unity unless there is a dividing out of the false. Once this process is finished we have true Divine Order.

The world wants total inclusiveness. God winnows and sifts. That which is false is burned in the fire!

In the Jewish religion, upon which Christianity is based, a quorum or minyan is required before a religious service can begin. A minyan is ten persons over the age of 13! When at least ten are together the service can begin. In ancient days this was to be ten men over the age of 13.

It is interesting that the number 10 is required to begin the service. Until the ten tribes of Ephraim/Israel are truly united with Judah we cannot begin the Millennial Kingdom!

NOTE: I’d like to share a great source for all sorts of spiritual information. This source is by a rabbi who believes that Yeshua is the Messiah. It is packed with information from the ancient Jewish Sages study of the Holy Scriptures. I only wish to offer some advice when you search this information.

The writer also believes that the oral law or traditions have the same weight as the written scriptures. Deuteronomy 4.2 warns us: "You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”

Only the written word in the Scriptures should be followed. Everything else is hearsay. Allow the Bible to interpret itself. Some of the Ancient Sages got carried away telling stories that cannot be documented in the written word.

Would you enter an oral contract to purchase a house or a car? You would certainly want the details of the agreement written down.

Keep this in mind while looking at the information in this link. Test and prove everything with the written word. http://www.betemunah.org/

Blessings to all

MORE ON THE MYSTERY OF THE TWO TREES

In the previous post we discovered that Adam and Eve choosing the tree of knowledge of good and evil humankind’s rebellion from God/Elohim. They believed that they could decide on what was good and evil rather than following Elohim’s instructions.

Yeshua/Jesus came to show us how to follow the will of God/Elohim. Yeshua came to do the Father’s will and walked in that spirit. He came to show us how—he is our Lord and savior—we are His disciples. Because He gave His life for ours His name is lifted up above all names. Elohim has appointed Yeshua all glory and honor for His sacrifice for our lives on the stake. At the end of this age and the millennial kingdom Yeshua will turn the throne over to the Father/Elohim.

It will be finished! Paradise will be restored in that day.

In the Bible trees usually represent men. If we allow the Word to interpret this we will understand:

Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Then He sent him away to his house, saying “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.” Mark 8.22-26

Then I answered and said to him, “What are these two olive trees—at the right of the lampstand and at its left?” And I further answered and said to him, “What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?”

Then he answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” So he said, “These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.” Zechariah 4.11-14

And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. Revelation 11.3-5

And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. Romans 11.17-18

These are only four verses of many more on trees. Olive and fig trees are often mentioned in terms of the nation of Israel. We are grafted into Israel as Paul explains in Romans 11.

Finally, let’s look at trees in the restored kingdom after the thousand year millennial reign of Yeshua:

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 22.1-5

Now let’s weave this together. The trees represent people and nations. We have rebelled against our creator God through making our own choices on what constitutes “good or evil.” We ate the fruit of our own desires and now our knowledge causes our separation from God.

Elohim had a better way. A way of peace, joy, love, respect, and abundance. We chose our way over His.

We had a choice and chose wrong. The two olive trees in Zechariah are the anointed of God. Oil is the anointing of the spirit. When we cross over into Yeshua and the new birth we are awakened to the ways of Elohim.

In Revelation we see two witnesses on the earth giving a powerful testimony to the wicked and evil world. They are called the two olive trees and two candlesticks (Rev 11.4).

The two witnesses may be the two houses of Judah/Jews and Israel/Ephraim/Gentiles in the last days providing their flaming witness to the wicked of this world. Theirs is a powerful witness for 3 ½ years prior to King Yeshua’s return.

In Revelation 21, after the second resurrection and White Throne Judgment, we see a new heaven and earth coming down from Elohim as a bride adorned for her husband. This chapter represents the establishing of God’s Paradise on earth and wonderful things beyond what we can think or image.

Rewards are meted out to the faithful at this time and the New Jerusalem is established for eternity.

In Revelation 22 we see pure river of water of life, Elohim’s Royal Law/Torah proceeding forth from the throne of God. Here, by the river we see the 12 trees of life bearing fruit and leaves for the healing of the nations. This is the total physical and spiritual restoration of all things.

We and the nations are now eating from the trees of Elohim. Judah and Israel have been reunited (Ezekiel 37.15-28), Yeshua has stepped down and delivered the Kingdom to His and our Father:

"Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet." 1 Corinthians 15:24

This represents that great day. Eternity stretches out before us!

"Eye has not seen, nor entered the mind of man, what god prepared for those who love him" Isaiah 64.4

Who can even image what Elohim has prepared for His servants in that day? The Universe is waiting for the revelation of the Sons of God!

TWO TREES - TWO PATHS - ONE WAY – THE MYSTERY OF THE TREES

Sometimes I view the Bible as a very sophisticated children’s book. I used to like watching Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon show as a kid. It was a very sophisticated children’s show that adults could enjoy watching because of the subject matter, history, and political truths imbedded in this cartoon. In many ways the Bible can be viewed this way. We are Elohim’s children and He has written us a children’s book to teach us how to live in peace, joy, and prosperity.

This is how He has presented the story of Adam and Eve unto us. The first three chapters of Genesis are Elohim’s first instructions to His children. It is set in a beautiful garden with trees. But this garden and two trees illustrate the foundation of the world in which we (humankind) live in today.

Elohim’s instruction to Adam: And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Genesis 2.16-17

They could eat of every tree but a single one. That one tree would cause them to die. We might want to call it the tree of death.

Very simply this tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents mankind taking to himself the ability to determine what is good or evil, what is right or wrong.

Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

Elohim told them the tree of knowledge of good and evil was the way of death. It was the way of death because they would now determine what was good or evil rather than look to Elohim for the rules of the game. They took of the tree and turned from Elohim’s rules/law and soon their lives were filled with violence and death. They had made their CHOICE.

This act established the foundation of the world as we know it today. A simple child’s decision to reject parental instruction. From this time forward the world as we know it has evolved to the point of human self-annihilation with nuclear weapons with no solution.

Elohim says do not sacrifice your children to the fire of false gods. We choose to abort a fetus of which Elohim says I knew you since you were formed in the womb. Ministers of God in churches today preach it is OK to abort—they think they have a better way. https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=3783

Satan deceived Eve into eating of this tree of death. This was the first test of Elohim’s instructions. Satan contradicted Elohim’s instructions and Eve trusted the lie instead of Elohim’s instruction. She gave it to Adam and he followed in her sin. They choose their own knowledge instead of God’s.

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—Romans 5.12

That choice quickly led to the first murder. The first child born to Adam and Eve, Cain, ended up murdering his younger brother Abel, and then lying to Elohim about it. Genesis 4:1-9

Our world is full of broken families, rebellious children, wickedness in high places, and untold evil. Everyone is eating of their own tree.

God personally instructed Adam and Eve but they turned away and listened to Satan the liar, thief, and killer. They became the personification of the knowledge of good and evil—they chose the wrong way!

The tree of life represents the way of the fruitful Holy Spirit of God. Eating from this tree allows us to solve and correct ourselves in the way of life. The Spirit is life. We walk in Elohim’s commandments/law and we have abundant life. The world walks in the way of the tree of death. It is a choice—the way of Elohim or the way of Satan.

Satan is a master “broadcaster” of fake news. He invented fake news. Just as TV and radio broadcast through the air so Satan works. Satan broadcasts in attitudes, impulses, moods, and thoughts. Instead of searching the scriptures and learning the laws of God we choose to listen to the fake news of the adversary.

Are you going to follow the word/broadcast of Elohim or that of ha Satan?

Yes, the Bible is a very sophisticated children’s story with a very simple instruction. His way or the highway!

His way will bring us eternal peace, happiness, joy, and spiritual understanding. We can’t experience blessings if we walk in the way of the knowledge of good and evil and despise our Father’s instructions.

PRESIDENT TRUMP CALLS ON EUROPEAN UNION TO TAKE OVER IN MIDDLE EAST – BIBLE PROPHECY IN ACTION
“And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.” Daniel 11:40
The Iranian government recently struck back on the killing of Quds Force General Qassem Suleimani by rocket attacking a US base in Iraq. No American servicemen were killed in this attack.
Iran also shot down a Ukraine airliner and denied that they shot it down. A day or so later the Iran government admitted that they shot it down. This caused a nationwide protest against the current regime.
On January 8th President Trump made the following statement:
“Today I am going to ask NATO to become much more involved in the Middle East process,” said @realDonaldTrump. “The civilized world must send a clear and unified message to the Iranian regime: your campaign of terror, murder, mayhem will not be tolerated any longer.” pic.twitter.com/mVIkF6anhE
— Power & Politics (@PnPCBC) January 8, 2020
It is apparent that the United States is at some point going to withdraw from involvement in the Middle East. President Trump urging the European Union to take over responsibility in the Middle East is a prophetic sign of the coming war in the Middle East.
The EU is led by Germany who is anxious to lead the way in maintaining a force in the Middle East.
On Friday, German-Foreign-Policy.com wrote (emphasis added):
German foreign politicians are pressing for a continuation of the Bundeswehr’s deployment in Iraq, bringing the withdrawal of U.S. troops into play and, at the same time, calling for stronger influential activities by the Western European powers in the Middle East. He can imagine that the United States “withdraws from the region” and, at the same time, “we Europeans are gaining” greater “weight in the region within the framework of a trans-Atlantic burden sharing,” explains the chairman of the cdu–csu parliamentary group for foreign policy, Roderich Kiesewetter.
These statements by Germany point to the prophecy in Daniel 11:40. In this prophecy Germany and the EU are referred to as the “King of the North” and Iran as the “King of the South.” We see Iran constantly “pushing” at the western nations as they attempt to destroy the modern day nation of Israel.
The United States and Britain will soon become marginalized and will withdraw from involvement in the Middle East. The European Union, led by power house Germany will soon become the arbiter of Middle East policies and events.
It is ironic that the modern state of Israel will look to Germany and the EU to protect and guide them as the end time events play out. This is the same Germany that persecuted the Jewish people and made the Holocaust possible.
Soon Israel will look to them and Europe as “allies.” The Bible warns ancient Israel and Judah to avoid looking to “lovers” for protection (Isaiah 31.1), but to look to their Elohim to protect them. They will be double crossed by the EU and another power in the EU—the Vatican!
We are witnesses to the fulfillment of the Daniel prophecies. It is playing out in plain sight in front of our eyes!
God is working out His plan. He is not in a hurry. End time events are now in development. President Trump does not want endless wars and involvement in the Middle East. When, not if, America turns to socialism in the near future, those administrations will not want to be involved in the Middle East problems.
Keep these things in mind as you pray and interceded for current events. Our God is very involved. The next four years will be very interesting. Tough times are in store for America and Britain.

Jacob’s deathbed adoption of Joseph’s sons

48.1-2 Sometime later Joseph is told his father is ill and he takes his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, to visit with him and have them blessed. Jacob is dying, but when he sees Joseph and his sons he receives some strength and sits up in bed.

48.3-7 Jacob tells Joseph that El Shaddai appeared to him in the land of Canaan, blessed him, and told him he would be fruitful and multiply and would make of him a multitude of people, in addition to giving his offspring the land for an everlasting possession. Then Jacob says he is going to adopt both Manasseh and Ephraim as his own sons. They will take the place of inheritance of Reuben and Simeon. He tells Joseph any other children he has will be classified under Manasseh and Ephraim (Joseph had no more children). He does this because of his beloved Rachel, Joseph’s mother, who died in child birth in the land of Canaan.

This important procedure of adoption by Jacob promotes Manasseh and Ephraim to the status of tribal founders and makes his favored wife their mother in place of the Egyptian priest’s daughter Asenath. They will also now become the senior or “birthright tribes” in place of Jacob’s first two sons by Leah, Reuben and Simeon. Just as Jacob had taken his brother Esau’s birthright place, now Jacob makes another important switch.

48.8-16 In a moment of confusion Jacob asks who the boys are. Joseph says, “My sons whom God has given me here.” Jacob tells Joseph to bring them closer so he can bless them. His eyes are dim, he cannot see well. So Joseph brings them closer and Israel kisses and embraces them. Jacob is very happy as he tells Joseph he thought he would never see him again much less his children.

Joseph bows to his father and took the two of them, Ephraim in his right hand--to Israel’s left--and Manasseh in his left to Israel’s right hand. But Israel stretched out his right hand and set it on Ephraim’s head and his left hand on Manasseh’s head, thus switching the order of blessing from oldest to youngest. Then he blessed Joseph saying, “God, before whom my father’s Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has fed me all my life long to this day, the Angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; let my name be named upon them, and the name of my father’s Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

Jacob is putting “My name upon them” meaning he is adopting them and putting them ahead of Reuben and Simeon. He is also blessing them into a multitude of people in the earth. The whole earth.

48.17-20 Now Joseph sees his father is placing his right hand on Ephraim’s head, who is the youngest, so he takes hold of his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head. “Not so father,” he says. Israel objected and says, “I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.” So he blessed them that day, saying, “By you Israel will bless, saying, ‘May God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh!’” And thus he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

Ephraim and Manasseh
Briefly stated: These prophecies are for the last days as we see in the beginning of chapter 49. In the last days Ephraim is the nation of Great Britain and their commonwealth (a multitude of nations) and Manasseh represents the United States of America (he too shall be great).

These two nations represent the lost tribes of the northern kingdom of Israel in the last days as the two great Christian (Israel) nations. The blessing of Joseph in Genesis 49.22-26 adds additional understanding to the blessing of Ephraim and Manasseh.

The tribe of Judah is the state of Israel in modern times. (2Kings 16.5-6) The United States and Britain along with other western Christian nations are the “spiritual progeny”, for lack of a better term, of the ten lost tribes of Israel.

Simply put Judah (the southern kingdom) is the “Jews” today, or the modern state of Israel. Israel (the northern kingdom) today are the U.S. and Britain, who are descendants of the ten lost tribes of Israel. For additional understanding and scripture see the above handout/teachings.

Ephraim (Britain), Manasseh (USA), and modern day Israel represent the “Israelite” nations in the modern age. As they are turning away from their Elohim they will be chastised by their Father for their sins of disobedience in these end times.

Understanding the above opens up the Old Testament Prophets and provides greater understanding of the last days and the things that are currently happening in the world today as related to the financial, military, and political crises of our times.

WAR FEARS RISING IN MIDDLE EAST – TIME FOR GOD’S WATCHMEN TO RISE UP IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE
The coming year 2020 will be fraught with difficulties and turmoil across the globe. The killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani has punctuated this fact. I would say the Biblical Prince of Persia who withstood Michael the Archangel in Daniel 10:13 has been aroused. Spiritual warfare is real (Ephesians 6.10-18).
Daniel was Yahweh’s watchman and he is our example of how to wage spiritual warfare. He put his life aside and sought the Lord with all his heart and strength. Daniel understood what was at stake and how to attack in the spirit.
Daniel chapter 9 is our model of spiritual warfare and strategy. The strategy begins in our hearts. Daniel was a humble man who tread lightly before the Father. His spiritual battle was to see the word of God fulfilled in the issue of Judah’s return to the Holy Land from their captivity in Babylon.
He began entreating Yahweh in prayer bringing the Word before the Lord. Daniel understood the time of captivity was fulfilled in the word spoken by Jeremiah and he began by presenting this word before God. His approach was by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes (Daniel 9:3).
Supplication is a humble presence before God. Daniel had a supplicant’s heart and made confession before Yahweh. He confessed his sins and the sins of the nation of Judah. He made no demands. Daniel chapter 9 is an amazing confession and humbleness before the Almighty God of the Universe.
O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You.
“O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You. To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets. Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. Daniel 9.7-11
Daniel begins with himself, then Judah, and finally all Israel. He is making no demands—only requests. He has a contrite heart for himself and the nation.
Why are our kings, princes, and fathers confused? Because we have sinned against the Lord and His LAW. This is the state of the nations of this world today. We refuse to obey God’s law.
“As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. Daniel 9.13-14
Daniel included himself. We are all poor before the Almighty.
The power in Daniel’s supplication could not be fake. He was literally “prostrating” himself before the Lord. His heart was true and humble. This was his spirit before Yahweh.
This is how we must wage war in the spirit. We need to really understand how blessed we are to have such a Holy and Righteous King! We can’t fake humbleness of spirit. It must be real. Then we can come into Yahweh’s presence and supplicate before Him.
This is exactly what our Lord Yeshua did and taught us to do.
In the coming weeks let’s think about this and thank our God for all his mercies and blessings He has bestowed on us.
All of these things which are taking place in the Middle East are about Yahweh and the return of Yeshua to Jerusalem. It is about the coming Millennial Kingdom of Yeshua on Earth.
Iran hates God’s people and their desire is to wipe them off the face of the earth. Great conflict will be coming at an appointed future date. The modern State of Israel is ground zero.
Watchmen are being called to intercede before God in humble supplication for all these coming events. We can use this time to examine ourselves before Him and start in a humble way to begin learning how to wage war in the Spirit.
He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holds me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, so that my feet did not slip. Psalm 18:34-36
Our humble prayers and fasting will reach the throne. We can start this now. Take a simple approach and confess before the Father. Do a simple fast of 24 hours. Build upon this one day at a time. The Father will honor our true hearts.
There was a man named Rees Howells, 1879-1950, who was raised up by God to intercede for individuals and nations. He was led to start a Bible College in Wales in the 1930’s to teach the Bible and intercession. During the Second World War he and the students at this college prayed for the allied forces throughout the war years.
They waged war in the Spirit as import battles were being waged at the same time. They would wrestle and pray and when they felt a breakthrough they would stop and take note of the time. Later in the week the newspaper accounts of the battles would list the time the allies broke through. It was the same time they had stopped praying!
Many times the battle was not decisive. They continued praying. We know how WW II ended. What most do not know is that this small group of spiritual warriors were battling in the Spirit during these events.
Before Mr. Howells died the Father told him that this war was about getting the Jewish people to return to what was then called Palestine. The Jewish people did not want to leave Europe just prior to the war. http://www.thechoicedrivenlife.com/uploads/Rees%20Howells%20Intercessor.pdf
The Jewish people did not believe how they were going to be persecuted and slaughtered. Most did not leave Europe when they had the chance. This horrible conflict and holocaust motivated the Jewish people to return in droves.
After the war the majority of European Jews were put in displaced person camps while the allies decide where to relocate them. At this time the overwhelming majority of displaced Jews only wanted to relocate to one place—back to their Biblical homeland.
The reason the land was called Palestine was because that is the name the ancient Romans named Judea. After the Bar Kochba revolt in 132-135 AD/CE the Romans (Emperor Hadrian) raised Jerusalem and renamed it Aelia Capitolina. The Romans changed the name of Judea to Syria Palaestina in honor of the Philistines who were the Biblical enemies of the Jews. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aelia_Capitolina     https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syria_Palaestina
This is history the current day Palestinians do not want to admit. They do not really want a two state solution. They want one state—theirs and with no Jews. Only Yeshua can negotiate a true peace that will last.
Let us begin to consider becoming watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem. We can be used as intercessors during these times. Ask the Father for direction and he will guide us and teach our hands to war. We can begin a step at a time just as the Father led Mr. Howells.
It can be difficult because the prayers are for such large and important events. You may get discouraged because it seems nothing positive is happening—but Yahweh will hear.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5.16
Amos 3:7 - Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Isaiah 62:6 - I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence….

JACOB’S TROUBLE
This study is difficult to understand if you do not understand who the modern day Jewish people, the modern state of Israel, and Ephraim/Gentiles/Israel are.
The 12 tribes of Israel are the sons of Jacob (Genesis 49 and especially verse 28).
The sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, represent the grafting in of the Gentiles. Their mother was a pagan daughter of the High Priest of Egypt (Gen 41.45).
The nation that left Egypt for the Promised Land was called Israel.  After they conquered Canaan they were the nation of Israel.

God changed Jacob’s name to Israel. His twelve sons and the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, comprised this nation.
In 1 Kings 11 and 12 the ancient nation of Israel divided. The northern kingdom was called Israel. The southern kingdom was called Judah. Judah are the modern day Jewish people.
The northern kingdom of Israel is often referred to as Ephraim in the Old Testament. King Jeroboam was from the tribe of Ephraim. He led the northern kingdom into idolatry.
The northern kingdom of Israel lost their identity among the Gentiles. The southern kingdom of Judah returned to the land and became the Jewish people.
Judah and Israel/Ephraim will be reunited at the end of the age. This will be the fulfillment of the time of the Gentiles and the terrible time known as Jacob’s trouble prior to the return of Jesus/Yeshua to establish the Millennial Kingdom.
It can become confusing if you cannot see these truths. Once you understand all becomes clear. It is all hidden in plain sight within the scriptures.
1. The Controversy - Hosea 2.5-7, Micah 6.1-2, Isaiah 34.8, Ezekiel 20.33-42
The Assyrians as a tool of judgment on the House of Israel   Isaiah 10.5-6
Babylon as a tool of judgment on the House of Jacob   Habakkuk 1.5-6
Chastisement for disobedience - Leviticus 26.23-26
2. The People - Jew and born again Christian are one bride, one church, saved by one savior. Read Romans 9 thru 11
Jews are of the House of Judah – Christians are of the House of Ephraim/Israel. These two houses are the result of the division of the kingdom in 1 Kings 11 and 12. Prior to the division they were together known as ISRAEL. After the division they were known as Judah/Jews and Israel/Ephraim. Two separate kingdoms.
The northern kingdom of Israel was taken by Assyria and dispersed throughout the Gentile nations and over the past 3 millennia have lost their identity among the nations/Gentiles (Hosea7.8-10).
The southern kingdom of Judah was taken by Babylon but later returned and rebuilt the temple. They did not lose their identity. They are the modern day Jews and state of Israel.
The believers in Jesus/Yeshua are grafted into Israel in Romans 11.
In Ezekiel 37.15-28 we see the two houses reunited at the end of the age. This is the reunion of the two houses. Together they once again become Israel, no longer two kingdoms, but reunited as Israel.
All of Israel has a set time of transformation. Psalm 102.13
3. The Land: Gen 17.7-8 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
Isaiah 11.11-12 It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea. He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.
Note that both houses are gathered.
Also read: Ezekiel 37.21, Hosea 1.11, 3.4-5, Joel 3.20, Amos 9.14-15, Obad 1.17, Micah 4.6-7, Zeph 3.14-20, Zech 10.6-10, Jeremiah 30.3, 11
Many in the “church” deny that God has given this land to the Jews forever. They say it is “spiritual Jews” or today’s Christian Church. What they do not understand is that both Jew/Judah and Israel/Ephraim/Gentiles become reunited as Israel at the time of the “time of the Gentiles” being fulfilled. Together, Judah and Ephraim, once again become ISRAEL.
The time of the Gentiles is prior to the reunification of both houses. In Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36 the new heart is given. This is the new covenant. Both houses come together in Yeshua—salvation by grace and a new heart. Judah/Jews and Ephraim/Gentiles must accept the salvation of Messiah Jesus.
The promise of the land is eternal and it is the nature of reunified Israel’s identity--where else could they live? This land is their history. You shall dwell in the land.
4. The time of Jacob’s trouble. Deut 4.26-31
The final years of natural history will revolve around the modern state of Israel, Jerusalem, the Jewish people, and grafted in Israel/Ephraim. This will be a time of unequaled violence and tribulation. The Holocaust was a warning, this will be worse, if you can imagine that. Zech 14.1-4, Jer 30.4-7, Matt 24.15-22, Dan 12.1-7
Three things will occur at this time:
  1. Trouble and tribulation for Jacob. Jacob represents the sons of Israel and Ephraim and Manasseh. Jacob put his name on Ephraim and Manasseh in Genesis 48.
  2. Deliverance and salvation for both houses.
  3. Resurrection of the righteous at the return of Yesuha.
It all culminates at this time. The judgment of God and the rage of sinful men and nations combined with the wrath of Satan will collide--with Yahweh. Jer 30.23-24, Is 34.8, Jer 25.31, the promise 1 Chron 16.15-18
Ephraim/Gentiles will also be tested on this issue and the stigma which will be attached to it. Zech 12.2-3, 9
There will be divine testing at the end of the age: 1 Chron 16.17, Ps 105.10-11, Ez 37.25-26, Lev 26.42, Is 62.4, Micah 4.1-8, Acts 1.6, 3.18-21, Rom 11.25-29
5. Climax of trouble Jeremaih 30.4-7...he shall be saved out of it. It ends with salvation. Dan 12.1-2, 7, Micah 5.3-4, Psalm 102.13. In Rom 11 future salvation of Israel, Rom 9 Israel’s election in the past, Rom 10 Israel’s deflection in the present, Rom 11 Israel’s and those grafted in, salvation in the future
Romans 11
1. Gentile church is inclined towards ignorance and arrogance toward Israel. They do not understand what grated in means. 11.25
2. Israel has been partially hardened. 11.25
3. Israel’s hardness not final or ultimate. 11.25
4. Israel will be delivered when time of Gentiles is fulfilled.
5. All Israel will be saved at Gentile conclusion. 11.26 That includes every surviving Jew, Ez 37.25-28,
   Is 4.2-4, Zech 13.8-9...1/3 saved, Jer 31.34, Zech 12.10 with Matt 24.29-30 with Rev 1.7, 2 Thess 1.7-10
6. Reunited Israel will be saved when Jesus returns. Rom 11.26-27, Is 59.20, Jer 31.33-34, Zech 14 Tabernacles.
7. Unbelieving Jews are our Beloved “enemies.” 11.28 In the final hour of trouble we will nourish each other.
8. Gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. 11.29
7. The prophecies - The state of Israel will be at the center of the greatest conflict in human history. Many will suffer and ultimately be saved. The state Israel achieved statehood in 1948 and reclaimed Jerusalem in 1967--these are the most significant events in modern history.
Isaiah 51.17-52.2 Jerusalem’s awaking and salvation is preceded by their suffering. The military invasion is an instrument of divine judgment. Isaiah 51.21-23. Then in Ezekiel 20.33-38 we see chastisement, a sifting of the people, pleading face to face, and all Israel’s final re-gathering. Israel’s final affliction must have its inception in the “land and the city.”
At this time we see many “Christians” relocating to the state of Israel and embracing the Hebrew foundations of the faith that they once rejected.
Isaiah 51 is a message of hope, but reflects the coming tragedy prior to final salvation. In Isaiah 10.20-23 we see the remnant returns to restore the nation. Jacob’s trouble erupts from within the land, resulting in invasion, escape, and expulsion of the Jews. The “state” is today’s political Israel. The nation is future.
8. Difference between recent return to the land and the future return - The modern state of Israel does not constitute the great and final re-gathering and restoration of the nation. Isaiah 49.22, 60.9, 66.20 This seems to indicate an even more massive return to the land. This will include Ephraim/Gentiles (Isaiah 11.11-13, 14.6, 27.13)
Many believe that now, having been planted in the land, that the Jews will never be uprooted again. Ez 36.33-35 seems to support this idea. They see the state of Israel secure from future expulsion, but Isaiah 35.1-10 shows the weakness of this view as we are not at this point yet. We have not seen: The glory of God revealed or His coming in vengeance to save.
To date there has been no acknowledgement of God, as the secular state does not adore God’s glory and majesty. We have not seen a final return with singing, gladness, and peace. The Jews who have returned to the secular state still have many enemies. Hope drew many, but many have left because of fear. Those who return are to return in peace to a secure nation. This is not the state we see since established in 1948. Verses 1, 7, 5-6 have not yet been fulfilled. We see no rejoicing in Jerusalem today as in Isaiah 66.8-12. On the day a nation is born there is to be peace like a river--we only see conflict today.
9. Destruction and restoration of Israel in Isaiah. Isaiah is the most important end time book about the state of Israel at the end of the age. Isaiah 4, 6, 11 In Isaiah 4 we see the extremity of the violence against Israel, the process of cleansing, and finality of restoration. This is an indispensable chapter to read. We see the military crises in the state/land of Israel and the salvation of all Israel, never to be uprooted again after Messiah comes. This is an important chapter for the generation alive at the end of the age.
In Isaiah 6 we see Isaiah’s cleansing foreshadowing all Israel’s cleansing. Verses 8-13 explain how God will execute His prophetic purpose for all Israel. The modern state will be leveled like a tree and the population reduced to 1/10th or a stump. The Jews are “hardened” until the end.
Isaiah 11 emphasizes the process of all Israel’s return to the land after chastening has run its course.
10. Devastation and restoration in Daniel 10 thru 12. Jesus quoted these prophecies for the end of the age: Daniel’s encounter with the angel 10.1-21, near future 11.1-20, distant future 11.21-12.13, Anti-Christ 10, Resurrection and deliverance 12, and military campaign 11.21. Jesus treated Dan 11.21-12.13 as one unified prophetic message.
Daniel 9.27 and 11.31 are both about the abomination, Matt 24.15. This concerns Judah/Jews.
1st half of final 7 years is Dan 11.21-31
2nd half of final 7 years is Dan 11.32-12.10...after the final 7 years is Dan 12.11-13. The final assault on Jerusalem is due to hatred of the covenant (with the people and the land). Dan 11.28-31...heart set against covenant. He shall come south and withdraw again and is enraged against the holy covenant. (Is this Islam?) Dan 11.31 speaks of international armies. Joel 3.2-3.
Four facts in Daniel 11:31:
1. Will enter land w/forces, Ez 38.10-16, Zech 14.1-2.
2. Will profane the Jewish Temple as tribulation begins, 2 Thess 2.1-5. Rev 11.2
3. Burnt offerings taken away--is this a temple to be built in Jerusalem?
4. Abomination of Desolation when the Anti-Christ proclaims he is god, then the last 42 months begin. Rev 13.5-7 The re-instating of the burnt offerings to the restoration of the temple is 2300 days and nights in Daniel 8.11-14.
This is actually 1150 days as sacrifices are made in the morning and evening (twice a day).
11. Future re-gathering. Jeremiah 30.4-11 (Chapters 30-33 focus on restoration) speaks of coming terror. Verses 8-11 happen chronologically. There are 10 promises in vv 4-7. Read Jer 31.1-14 in connection with ch 30. We see remnant in Isaiah 4.2-6, Zech 13.8-9. In Isaiah 49.13-26 we see comfort, people forsaken, re-gathering to blessed land, a restoration in sight of nations, rescue of captives, and punishment of oppressors.
This regathering is of both Jews/Judah and Ephraim/Gentiles regathering to the land.
Joel 3 speaks of final battle for the land.
The issue of the land and the people of the state of Israel will be God’s method of testing the hearts of all men and nations at the end of the age. This will be the measuring stick of the judgment of the nations. This test will polarize humanity. He who loves the Lord Jesus Christ will love His people--and Jesus said, “I bring division.”
This division will separate the sheep and goat nations. Joel speaks of the assault of the nations on the Holy Land and of judgment. Joel 3.1-16
In the same chapter vv17-21 speaks of the restoration of Israel.
12. Epharaim’s identification with Israel during Jacob’s Trouble. The true “church” is made up of Gentiles who understand they are Ephraim and have been grafted into Israel.
We are called to honor the Commonwealth of Israel. As brothers grafted in we identify with the Jewish people. “To the Jew, first,” says the word of God.  The Gentile/Ephraim sacrificial identification with Jews is not an option. It will separate the faithful from the apostate at the end of the age. Six ways Ephraim will be called upon to express their devotion:
  1. Pain--Identification with Israel will be painful. To stand with her will mean we suffer. Jacob’s trouble is not just “Jacob’s” problem—it is all Israel’s. We will not be raptured away to watch. We will share in her fate when we stand with her.
  2. Prayer--Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalm 122.6-9. Pray for boldness, pray for Jewish salvation.
  3. Provision--Radical and generous giving to the “naked, thirsty, strangers, hungry, sick, and in prison.” We may have to feed them if there is a “mark of the beast.”
  4. Provocation-- Our identification with them should move them to faith in Christ. They will be moved by how Ephraim cars for them in the time of trouble. We too, will be persecuted because we are Ephraim/Israel—their brethren.
  5. Prophecy--Isaiah 28.9-13 speaks of prophetic ministry of Gentiles/Ephraim to Jews. Ephraim speaks as expositors of the prophetic scriptures. We will proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom to them--and the one whom they have pierced.
  6. Persevering Love--When the entire world despises the Jews/Judah, Ephraim’s sacrificial service will shine like the sun in brilliance. The Jews will see JesusYeshua. Ruth 1.16-18, Rev 12.11
 13. The land: Jewish and reunited Israel’s right to the land is the controversy of the Covenant. Since Abraham, the land has been a contentious issue and a theatre of war. Zionism is rooted in the biblical concept of the land--a union between the land, the people, and God. This is the issue that will ultimately test men’s hearts. Zech 12.2-3, 6 shows the center of the controversy.
Islam rejects the covenant. The “church” rejects Israel’s claim to the land--many side with the Palestinians calling Israel Apartheid and dehumanizing indigenous Palestinians. They believe the state of Israel is irrelevant to the purposes of God. In fact the state of Israel is the only democratic and free nation in the region. They respect the rights of individuals and recognize the Palestinian need for a homeland. The Palestinian’s refuse to recognize the state of Israel’s right to exist.
14.  The question of Jewish/reunited Israel’s right to the land--conditions of the Covenant. Many believe the New Covenant renders the Covenant with the Jews/reunited Israel and the land obsolete.
Luke 1.68-75 speaks of millennial safety and peace in the land. The unconditional covenant does come with one condition to allow it to work--obedience.
  1. Abraham received an unconditional promise of eternal presence in the land and that he would be the father of a multitude. This includes Ephraim/Manasseh/Israel’s grafting in represented by Jacob’s blessing on them in Genesis 48. At that time Jacob put his “name upon them.”
  2. All Descendants must obey God to enjoy the covenant.
  3. Prophets declared if condition of obedience not met--expulsion from the land--but future re-gathering when repentant.
Even though the two houses have been rebellious and not obeyed--they have been promised the land (Ezekiel 47.22-23). It is not based on righteousness, but on the irrevocable covenant with the fathers. Jeremiah 30.3, 31.35-37.
The final Anti-Christ invasion of the land is represented as an assault on the “Holy Covenant.” Daniel 11.28-30.
The people are rebellious, but nonetheless regarded as holy.
The issue of the land is the issue of grace. It will test men’s hearts because it concerns what God has spoken. It raises the question of divine election since reunited Judah and Ephraim are not yet obedient and united through faith in the Messiah’s blood.
God has given the land unconditionally apart from works on the basis of future grace. This will expose each heart to the nature of grace--and this is the point of divine testing. God’ covenant with obstinate Israel is God’s premier object lesson by which He will teach the nations the mystery of His grace.
15.  Some final thoughts - It is fitting that the beast kills the 2 prophets in Jerusalem. Luke 13.33, Rev 18.24, 17.16-18. All nations will be required to consider the basis of righteousness and grace--this is the purpose of Jerusalem at the end of the age and in the scheme of divine wisdom. It will offend human reasoning. God alone is God. It is his grace--not our works or reasoning.
