For those of you who have been checking back I want to let you know I will be posting again. I have been seeking to renew my spirit and get back to posting. There are times when the information and events just become overwhelming.
I will continue posting as I feel led. If the financial system collapses as many think, I will be posting on that event. In the meantime I've been teaching a class at a local prison and seeking the Lord and allowing Him to work out some issues in my life.
Blessings to you all.
In my class at the prison we have been discussing the first five verses in Genesis chapter one. Below I'd like to share a word study on these verses. Take the time to dig into the word and you will find this word study very helpful.
GENESIS AND CREATION
Bereshis 1:1-5Orthodox Jewish Bible
(OJB)
1 In the beginning Elohim
created hashomayim (the heavens, Himel) and haaretz (the earth).2 And
the earth was tohu vavohu (without form, and void); and darkness was upon the
face of the deep. And the Ruach Elohim was hovering upon the face of the
waters.3 And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was
light.4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was tov (good); and
Elohim divided the ohr (light) from the choshech (darkness).5 And
Elohim called the light Yom (Day), and the darkness He called Lailah (Night).
And the erev (evening) and the boker (morning) were Yom Echad (Day One, the
First Day).
Genesis 1:1-5King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning God created
the heaven and the earth.2 And the earth was without form, and
void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved
upon the face of the waters.3 And God said, Let there be light:
and there was light.4 And God saw the light, that it was good:
and God divided the light from the darkness.5 And God called
the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the
morning were the first day.
