FIVE SEALS OF REVELATION CHAPTER 6.1-11

The colors of the four horses: White, Red, Black, Green.

  1. White Horse – Rev 6.1-2 – The white horse is a symbol of political power. The rider of the horse has a bow and went forth conquering. This is the logo of the Council on Foreign Relations.
  2. Red Horse – Rev 6.3-4 – The Roman God of War was depicted in red. Red signifies war. The world is engulfed in various wars in the Middle East today.
  3. Black Horse – Rev 6.5-6 – When the stock market experiences a crash that day is referred to as “Black”. In October of 1987 the market collapsed on a Friday. This is referred to as “Black Friday.” This horse has to do with financial collapse and rapid inflation that causes the price of food and other goods to sky-rocket.
  4. Green or Pale Horse – Rev 6.7-8 – The world “pale” in the original Greek translation of the New Testament is chloros = which means; light green, pale, green plant. This horse is given power over a fourth of the earth to kill with the sword, hunger, and death with the beasts of the earth. This means violent killings, such as beheadings, and famine, and disease. Think of droughts and crops failing and various diseases such as bird flu, mad cow, disease, and ebola.
  5. Tribulation – Rev 6.9-11 – John sees a vision of those who have been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus Christ. They are given white linen robes and told to wait until their brethren are martyred. These are cruel decapitations such as we see today. This is a mark of the end times. In Jesus’ time King Herod beheaded John the Baptist (Luke 9.9). ISIS is doing this in the world today.

The most interesting thing in the Middle East is that most of the countries that surround the nation of Israel have national flags with these four colors of white, red, black, and green.

                 Iran                                         Jordan                                        Iraq

                                                                  Syria

When the United Nations established Israel in 1948 they gave Israel and the Arabs each a part of the country. The Jewish people accepted the plan but the Arab nations rejected the plan. In May of 1948 the Arabs attacked Israel and told all the Arabs living in the Israel portion to leave. They told them after the war and the defeat of Israel they would be given their land back.

The Palestinian homeland should really have been the country of Jordan. When this plan was adopted by the U.N. about 70% of the land that was “Palestinian” became part of the nation of Jordan. Jordan has never accepted the Palestinians and all the Arab countries seek to completely wipe Israel and the Jews off the face of the earth.

ISIS plans to unite all the Arab countries as one huge state with no borders. They, along with the other Islamic countries plan to totally murder all Jews and turn Israel into the Palestinian nation. When you look at a map of the Middle East you see about a fourth of the earth (Rev 6.8). Right in the middle is tiny Israel which is about the size of New Jersey.

When Jesus returns at His second coming He will come to Jerusalem to save the Jewish people and all who believe and await His coming (Zechariah 12 thru 14; Micah 5.8-15; 1 Thessalonians 4.13-18).
