Daniel Chapters 2, 7, 12 and Revelation Chapters 13, 17, 18, 20

The following short study notes should help in your study of Daniel and Revelation

Daniel 7.23-25…Thus he said, “The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.  And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
Daniel 2 and 7 are the same dream, talking about four kingdoms.
Daniel 12 is a prophecy for the end times or end of this present age.
Revelation 20 talks about the resurrection of the dead and the Millennial Kingdom (Rev 20.4).
Kingdom, Daniel 7.23 = Hebrew = 4437 = kingdom, dominion, reign

Laws, Daniel 7.25 = Hebrew = 1882 = law, decree, usually a written codified prescription by a human or deity; the “Law of God” can refer to the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. Ref: Matt 5.17-19
Beast, Revelation 17.3 = Greek = 2342 = Wild animal (fiendish), beast, snake = kingdom = government; beast is government.
Fiendish, Webster’s Dictionary: diabolically cruel, and wicked. Fiend = evil spirit; Satan, the devil

Revelation 17.1-5…And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come here; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters:  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
Mystery, Rev 17.5 = Greek 3466 = Mystery, secret; often refers to a misunderstood part of the OT that, with Yahshua’s coming, is now unveiled. What part of OT is misunderstood? The time and calendar!

For rebellion is the sin of witchcraft, and to break the word of the Lord is iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected thee from being king. 1 Samuel 15.23
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; which I denounce, as I have also told you in time past that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
