GOD’S WAYS OF PROSPERITY

“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit. Who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your well being would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea…Go forth from Babylon!” Isaiah 48:17-18, 20

Before you allow a spirit of hopelessness to overcome you, it is important to note that the NWO conspiracy and the rise of Mystery Babylon has not caught God by surprise. In fact, God has recorded their plans in His word, so we would not be caught by surprise. It is clear that this unrighteous world system is built on the root sin of the love of money and it will ultimately fall under His judgment.

When this system finally collapses it is important that God’s people are separated from it. This is why God admonishes us to come out of her now before Babylon falls. Rev 18:1-5

SOME THINGS WE CAN DO...The following are some foundational keys to release God’s prosperity into the body of Christ:

1. Obey God’s Commandments - “Now it shall be , if you will diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to obey all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you , if you will obey the Lord your God.” Deut 28:1-2 Read the entire chapter and compare to America today.

Moses makes it clear that one of the main benefits of obeying God’s word is prosperity:

“So keep the words of this covenant to do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.” Deut 29:9

2. Seek the Prosperity of Your Soul - “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2

Prosperity of soul comes through the study and application of God’s Word in our lives. Solomon says, “He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul.” Proverbs 19:16

If we understand God’s laws, commandments, statutes, precepts, judgments, and testimonies we will come into the fullness of that prosperity in our spirit, soul, and body.

3. Acquire Wisdom and Knowledge - When Solomon asked God for wisdom and knowledge he knew that he was committing himself to obey God’s commandments 2 Chronicles 1:11-12.

Solomon did not teach obedience to the Torah for salvation, but for length of days, peace and favor in the sight of God and man (Proverbs 3:1-4)

That is because the birthright of salvation has always been grace through faith in Jesus’ blood atonement on the cross (Lev 6:6-7, Eph 1:7, 2:8-9), but the blessings have always come through obedience to God’s laws (Torah) Gen 26:4-5.

4. Bless Israel and Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem - “I will bless those who bless you , and the one who curses you I will curse.” Gen 12:3

God promises His blessing on all those who follow His commandment to bless Israel, and to curse all those who curse Israel. He commands us to pray for the peace and prosperity of Jerusalem, and to “seek after Israel’s good for the sake of the house of the Lord” Ps 122:6-9. Also Isaiah 62:6-7 is a command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

5. Honor the Lord with Your Wealth - “Honor the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats overflow with new wine” Proverbs 3:9-10

This verse refers to the tithe, which belongs to the Lord. If we fail to give back to God the first fruits of our tithes then it and our whole lump becomes cursed (MALACHI 3:8-9)

We do not give out of the love of getting money/prosperity in return, but out of a heart of love for God.

6. Be Generous to the Poor - “He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.” Proverbs 22:9

Ministering to the poor is one of the Lord’s most sacred works. In fact, Jesus was anointed and sent into this world to minister to the poor. Luke 4:18 Again, we are not preaching a prosperity gospel, but obey and give from a heart of love. There are many ways for God to prosper us beyond wealth and money.

7. Don’t Use Debt to Prosper - “Woe to him who increases what is not his…and makes himself rich with loans. Will not your creditors rise up suddenly and those who collect from you awaken? Indeed, you will become plunder for them.” Habakkuk 2:6-7

Every financial crises over the past century has been the collapse of one or more debt bubbles. When this happens, those who have leveraged their investments (real estate, stocks, bonds, etc.) hoping to ride the artificial inflation bubble higher and higher, have suffered huge loses.

No matter how well debt seems to work for obtaining material possessions; the borrower is still the slave to the lender. In a financial crises/shaking your creditors become your masters who rise up and confiscate your assets, and you become plunder for them.

8. Be Diligent - “Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” Proverbs 10:4

The first place we are to exercise diligence is in keeping God’s Word. When we do this, God not only promises that we will prosper, but that we “shall stand before kings” Proverbs 22:29

9. Establish God’s Covenant in the Marketplace - “…remember the Lord you God, for it is He who gives power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers…” Deut 8:18

Establishing God’s covenant in the marketplace is paramount for financing the work of the ministry in these last days. Remembering God’s covenant forces us back to God’s model of learning and implementing His Torah (Law) when conducting business and trade.

Since the marketplace is the area of Lucifer’s original sin it is understandable why the business world is the most difficult area to walk in obedience to God’s commandments. The marketplace is a ministry because we are God’s messenger’s there.

In a sense our Lord was a businessman. He was a carpenter and did business with many people as he grew in favor and stature with God and man. If you are in the business world you have a ministry already.

10. No Dishonest Scales of Any Kind - “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.” Proverbs 11:1

The most dishonest scale we have is our system of Fractional Reserve Banking. Cheating or not providing the full service of a business contract could also be called dishonest scales. Bribery, withholding wages, and taking unfair advantage of widows and orphans also are dishonest scales.

GOD PROSPERS THE RIGHTEOUS
As we walk all this out by faith, God’s righteousness manifests itself in our lives and finances. Proverbs 13:21
