U.S. STOCK MARKET ON WILD ROLLER COASTER RIDE – FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS!

Those whom have been reading this blog should not be surprised by the wild swings of the US Stock market in recent weeks. It has been up and down hundreds of points daily for a least 10 days now. The talking heads and shills will say not to worry it’s only a correction but don’t be fooled. More turbulence lies ahead.

Do you have confidence in our financial future? It is difficult when you accept the fact that our national debt is officially over $21.5 trillion dollars. I’ve been told if you count a dollar a second it will take over 30,000 years to count one trillion! Amazing!

Do you think if you invest in an IRA or any other financial savings instrument that it will still be solvent in twenty years? How would you like to be a college student about to graduate with thousands of dollars of debt due to your student loans? You are young and ready for a job, marriage, home, kids, and car and you BEGIN life with thousands in debt. Would you call this a promising future? I don’t think so and I don’t blame you at all.

It is very difficult to have hope for the future facing such odds. Yet many young people are leaning even more toward socialism in America. Do they really think there is money out there to provide all they need and want?

We are being shaken to our very core. The system is rotten and corrupt and it is not going to last much longer. It is being held together just due to the tremendous size of the system. We are talking about inconceivable amounts of paper currency that doesn’t really even exist.

This is a warning and call to prepare. I pray every day that the system will continue and NOT collapse. First I’ll post some articles on what is happening.

As written about in other postings the world is beginning to use other means of clearing trade and doing business away from the U$ dollar. The U$ dollar is the world reserve currency but it is on its death bed. This will have a tremendous effect on our style of living here in the US.

What should you do?

It goes without saying that we should all be praying for our country and for strength during the coming crisis. There are some simple steps you can take that will help you and your family to survive the first three to six months of a financial crisis.

You don’t have to go overboard and buy tons of prepackaged foods but you should have three to six months of emergency packaged food. You should also have some cash stashed that would get you through about three months of financial reset of the system. Cash will help you get through the first months of uncertainty.

Some extra gallons of water, a water filter, a camping stove and fuel would also be good items to have on hand. Paper goods for a three month period like toilet paper and towels would be a good thing to have. These are all simple things you can do now. Get it together and forget about them. Just keep the stuff on hand to get through the beginning of a crisis. Hopefully things would settle down after 3 to 6 months. If not, we will be learning in a new way to trust in the Lord.

Get to know people in your church and community in a deeper way. Try to get together for Bible studies and dinners just in order to get to know people better so you know who to rely on in a crisis.

Now is the time to prepare so that you will not be a burden on your brothers, but rather part of the solution. You decide how much you want to prepare. Get used to the idea that tough times are coming so you are not taken by surprise.

Stay calm and carry on

Go about your life as normal as you prepare. Don’t turn it into a drama. Just prepare quietly. Stock up on items you think would be important and prepare mentally. Pray for wisdom and guidance. Yes the Lord will provide but not in the manner you and your family are used to. It is going to be difficult.

When will it happen?

You’ll read all kinds of articles and hear all kinds of predictions but nobody really knows exactly when. The later the better. The idea is to be prepared and not blindsided—it is going to happen.

A financial crisis or bank holiday could occur during a weekend and announced on a Monday to keep panic in check. Who knows how it will unfold. I’m just encouraging you to be prepared. Take my advice and take the simple steps above. At some point in time you will be glad you did. The first 3 to 6 months will be the worst so be prepared. Joseph was warned and he prepared the entire county of Egypt for a seven year crisis.  You may surprise yourself at how well you will perform by preparing now and praying for guidance from our King!
