ARE YOU A SON OF ZADOK IN THESE PERILOUS TIMES?

But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, said the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 44.15

 

Zadok the priest and his sons were loyal to King David when David ruled for seven years in Hebron (1 Chr 12.28), when Adonijah, a son of David, attempted to become king (1 Kings 1-2), and to David’s son Solomon. Zadok and sons were always faithful to the “House of David” throughout the scriptures.

They were not just faithful to the House of David but in reality to the throne of David. The throne of David represents the throne of Yeshua. Zadok was loyal to the God behind the throne of David. For this, Zadok and sons are rewarded with the privilege of ministering unto the Lord in Ezekiel’s temple during the Millennial Kingdom (MK).

This is a great reward and a high place of service in the MK (Ezekiel 40.46, 43.19, 44.15, 48.8-11).

The Lord Yeshua will sit upon the throne of David in the MK. Those who are loyal to Yeshua will rule and reign with Him in that day. WE want to think in Kingdom terms! The throne is the place from which the Royal Law of the Kingdom will go forth from the eternal city of Jerusalem (Isaiah 2.2-3).

Zadok was loyal to Yahweh and King David through both good and bad times. He was a warrior who followed and supported David during the transition from Saul to David. Zadok and his sons were loyal to the God behind David. They knew David was Yahweh’s anointed.

This is the example of Zadok for us today. WE are citizens of the Kingdom of God and obey the Royal Law of this kingdom. We follow and obey the Law because we love the Father and Yeshua. It is not a burden to follow the Law of love.

Today we are living in perilous times of lawlessness. The world wants nothing to do with the Royal Law. The world hates those who follow and worship Yahweh and His Son. Zadok and sons never wavered from their faith in God and His anointed; David.

David represents Yeshua, he is a type of King Yeshua in the MK. The throne of David was established forever and Yeshua will sit on that throne:

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest, and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David; and he shall reign in the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Luke 1.31-33

We are watching the world crumble before our eyes in this day—but our kingdom is based on the throne of David and a never ending kingdom. Look what the angel said to the assembly in Philadelphia:

And to the angel of the congregation in Philadelphia write; These things, saith he that is Holy and True, he who has the key of David, who opens and no one shuts and shuts, and no one opens;

 I know thy works; behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no one can shut it, for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word and hast not denied my name.

 Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie; behold, I will constrain them to come and worship before thy feet and to know that I have loved thee.

 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the entire world, to try those that dwell upon the earth.

 Behold, I come quickly; hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.

Do you see the Zadok promise within these scriptures? These believers are given the “key of David” to unlock the doors. The doors of understanding of the word and becoming citizens of the kingdom of God.

We have the keys to understanding end time prophecy like never before—we see it unfolding in current events as the Holy Roman Empire and Kings of the East are rising.

David established the order of worship and service in the tabernacle (1 Chr 23-26). Now we have become the house of God and He tabernacles in us—His body. We have the key of David to unlock the word and worship in spirit and truth.

In a sense, the entire Bible contains end time information—if we can recognize it through the spirit. The establishing of the order of service and worship by David is a millennial shadow. The Millennial temple will function in this manner and will be a witness to the world of Yahweh’s majesty and the kingship of Yeshua.

When entering Ezekiel’s temple worshippers who enter from the north will leave by the south and those entering from the south will leave by the north gate. We do not leave the same way we enter! We too became citizens of the kingdom of God and are not the same people as when we entered. A change has taken place.

Ezekiel’s temple will be a place of education for the nations to teach them about Yahweh and His Royal Law. It will be a time of peace and tranquility on the earth for a thousand years. Man will finally live in peace.

The most amazing and disappointing thing is that after a thousand years there will be one final rebellion (Rev 20) led by haSatan. The nations will still rebel after all of this—hence the warning in Revelation 3 to the Philadelphian’s.

Until then we are watching, praying, and occupying as we await the return of our King. We all need to be sons of Zadok!
