UNDERSTANDING BIBLICAL END TIME PROPHECY

Beginning in 2009 and continuing through 2015 I spent a great deal of time seeking the Lord on understanding how the end times would unfold. During this time I spent hours alone in my room on short fasts, praying, and seriously reading the word and learning to allow the entire Bible interpret itself.

I was also led into studying the financial markets, gold, silver, stocks, and various world trading blocs. I studied church and world history, and current geopolitical events. I also began to study the Old Testament in a Jewish Commentary Bible in order to understand what the ancient Jewish people believed. It is amazing how many of our “Christian” beliefs are based on what the ancient sages thought about the coming Messiah and end of the age.

Issues I read about during these years analyzing and predicting coming world developments financially and politically are now happening in real time. We are rapidly moving towards a "new world order" financially and politically.

I did not have dreams or visions about any of this. It was based on reading the word of God to learn how God moved throughout Old Testament dealings with His people, listening to various teachers, seeking Biblical and historical confirmations, allowing both Old and New Testament to interpret and confirm themselves, and keeping abreast of current events.

Here is a simple example: If we are truly grafted into Israel as Paul the Apostle writes in Romans 9 through 11 what does that mean spiritually and physically?

If there is a “spirit of antichrist” in the world as John says in 1 John 2.18-19 what does that mean?

If this spirit of antichrist is in the world what does Daniel 7.25 mean?

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The answer, if we allow the Bible to interpret itself, is amazingly revealing. Thinking about these scriptures together encouraged even deeper research into their meaning.

The creation story in Genesis 1.1 thru 2.3 contained many clues. God said evening and morning constituted a day. What did that mean? In Gen 1.14-19 the sun, moon, and stars were created. What calendar? What calendar do we observe? What calendar does the Bible observe? Each Biblical passage raised another question. How can we understand the end time if we don’t understand Biblical time—and what is Biblical time? How do we as believers in Yeshua fit into all this? I had so many questions.

Ever so subtly the Spirit of Elohim guided and directed my thoughts and study. It did not happen quickly. It took time and prayer. Everything I had previously been taught in church and Bible studies was being challenged.

If we are grafted into Israel then we must also share in their inheritance. Look at the story of Ruth the Moabite. She was a Gentile who was grafted into Israel and Yeshua comes from her genealogy. Allowing the Bible to interpret itself we begin to see that we are part of Israel just as Ruth became grafted in.

The Israel we are part of is comprised of Jew and Gentile coming together as “one new man.” We cross over into new life in Yeshua. The word Hebrew means “one who has crossed over.” Abraham was the first to cross over when he left Chaldea (Gen 12). In Genesis 14.13 Abram is called a Hebrew. Could it be that when Jew and Gentile receive Yeshua as Lord and Messiah the two become Hebrew?--ones who have literally crossed over into Yeshua!

Search the Bible for what the stranger who accepts Israel’s God receives—full citizenship! Ezekiel 47.22-23 is merely one example. There are incredible promises and inheritance for the “one new man” and Hebrews!

The Bible has its own calendar. It is currently observed by the country known as Israel. It is the calendar in which the entire Old and New Testaments are based on. What if we as newly born, are really supposed to follow the Biblical Calendar and the Lord’s Feasts (Leviticus 23)? The early church followed all these. If we follow the Biblical calendar could there be hidden prophetic information contained therein? Yes, more than I could imagine.

This alone proves that Yeshua was not crucified on Good Friday as we have been taught. He said He would be in the earth for three days and three nights (Matt 12.40). That is impossible if He was crucified on Good Friday. If Yeshua says three days and three nights then that is what he means! The West observes the Roman calendar and all nations follow it to some degree. The Roman calendar is the World’s calendar. We should be observing the Biblical calendar and the Feasts of the Lord.

Now we can make sense of Daniel 7.25…the changing of the laws and times. The spirit of antichrist has already changed the laws and times of Elohim’s calendar by establishing the Roman calendar. In the time of the person known as the Antichrist, the Biblical calendar will be abolished.

We all think in our mind that we allow the Bible to interpret itself but we are fooling ourselves. Start looking at the whole Bible and allow it to interpret itself with the confirmation of past history and you will begin to understand many things in a clear light.

As we traveled through the Holy Land and observed life there all of these things became magnified in my mind and understanding. I am praying to have a "big picture" understanding of the events which will lead to the second coming and the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom to come.

It is essential to understand what our grafting into Israel means. We are becoming part of them--but not in a Jewish way--but rather a Yeshu-ish way! The process of becoming a disciple of Yeshua is exactly the same for Jew and Gentile alike--you must be born again from above. Then we become one new man, crossing over into Yeshua.
