WHAT OUR ELOHIM IS DOING THIS HOUR IN ISRAEL

While visiting Israel May 19 through June 2, 2018 we had brief visits with the following ministries: Israel College of the Bible, Jews for Jesus, Beit Immanuel outreach, Bulldozer Faith, The Church of the Messiah in Jerusalem, Ha Yovel, and Maoz.

All of these ministries work in some way to share the Gospel with the secular Jewish people in Israel. The reports we received were all very positive. Many secular Jewish people are receiving Yeshua as their personal and Jewish Messiah!

Everyone said that it is much easier to share the Gospel with the Jewish people at this time than ever before in Israel. In the past people showed no interest and the resistance from Ultra-Orthodox Jews was severe. The sense I got from these reports was that this out pouring is similar to the Charismatic move in the mid 1960’s and early 1970’s in America.

There seem to be countless small congregations of believing Jews all over the country. It is amazing to see and joyful to experience. These Jewish people are truly “reborn” into Yeshua the Messiah. They are so invigorated that they can’t contain their joy and go out and tell others about Yeshua.

Here in this small country about the size of New Jersey there is a significant move of God going on. In Deuteronomy 32.7-9 it says:

Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you. When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.

God divided mankind and established the borders of the Nations according to the number of Jacob’s family members when they went to Egypt during the famine. There were a total of 70 in that family (Exodus 1.1-6).

In Numbers 29.1-40 it describes the sacrifices that are to take place during the feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles) each day of the feast. If you add up the number of bullocks it comes to 70—the same number of people in Jacob’s family when they relocated to Egypt.

The ancient sages said the sacrifice of the 70 bullocks was a sacrifice for the wellbeing of all the nations. The sages believed the original number of nations in the earth was 70 after Noah’s family spread throughout the earth. They also had a saying that if the Romans understood that sacrifices for the nations were taking place maybe the Romans would not have destroyed the Temple in 70 AD.

This, of course, is speculation, but it is quite interesting that the Jewish religious leaders believe Elohim’s desire was to sacrifice for the benefit of all nations during Sukkot. This feast represents Elohim dwelling with or tabernacling with His people.

When you look at a map of the world it reveals a stunning truth. Look at the borders of the nations, especially the Arab nations that surround Israel and you can barely see Israel it is so small. God blessed the nations with great territory and allotted this tiny bit to His people Israel, yet the world would that the Jews be exterminated! The world cannot even allow the Jewish people this tiny portion, but continue to fight over it! Astonishing!

Read what it says in Joel 3.1-3:

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land…

Some believe the Valley of Jehoshaphat is the valley situated between Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives to the east. It was in this valley where King Jehoshaphat is thought to have overthrown the enemies of Israel, the “valley of Beracah”

Where ever this place of judgment is, the Lord will be judging the nations for attempting to destroy His chosen people. Looking at the world map it is difficult to believe that Elohim is not very angry with the nations He has blessed so generously for their trespass against Israel.

There seems to be a pattern of God pouring out his spirit prior to the difficult times in man’s history. In the books of Kings and Chronicles the late revivals in Judah were in preparation for the captivity to come. Prior to World War I there was a great revival in Wales, and before World War II there was healing revivals and tent meetings in the US. I’m not sure if there were significant revivals in Europe prior to WW II but would not be surprised if there were.

In these days God is pouring out His spirit on the secular Jewish people as never before. The atmosphere in Israel is charged with Yeshua. Perhaps this out pouring is God’s mercy and preparation for His people in the dark days which will soon come upon them and this world.

The nations are raging and Israel is under great pressure to divide the land. This pressure will increase in the years to come and Israel will face some difficult decisions. There will also be war. God is going to glorify His name in the conflicts which are coming. The nations will see it and be astonished—but Israel will be severely tested and compromised. They will survive as they cry out to Yeshua for salvation.

Now is the time of mercy and preparation. Elohim will have His people placed in key positions just as He had Obadiah placed in wicked King Ahab’s house (1 Kings 18) before Elijah showed up! God will not abandon His people—but it will be a very difficult time.

This is what I felt the Father was showing me as we toured this blessed land.
