CHILDREN SHALL BE THEIR PRINCES

And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, everyone by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable” (Isaiah 3:4-5).

Isaiah was a far into the future prophet, perhaps the greatest of all the Old Testament prophets. He warned the nation of Israel and Judah of their coming demise due to their sinfulness and disobedience to God. He understood the political atmosphere of his time like no other. He had connections to the elite and understood the decay of a once great nation.

Isaiah’s words are relevant to our times. The entire book is a prophetic look at current events and the coming future Millennial Kingdom (MK) when Y’shua will be King of the Earth.

In Isaiah’s time the statesmen, counselors, honorable, and eloquent orator were being replaced by the unjust, wicked, and unrighteous as the nation forgot its past place in their redeemer—The Holy One of Israel (Is 3.1-3).

Today we see the same thing taking place. Look at the “Children’s Crusade” against guns. Most of these kids don’t even know what an assault weapon is, nor do they understand the 2^nd Amendment of the Constitution.

I believe there should be restrictions on the sale of assault weapons based on age and criminal activity, but I do not believe in ending the 2^nd amendment of the US Constitution. It was written to allow the citizens to stand up against tyranny and tyrants. It was created to protect our freedoms. It is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with intelligently—which doesn’t seem possible for our short sighted corrupt politicians.

The “Children’s Crusade” has been orchestrated by politicians and social activists in an attempt to rip the Constitution apart. These kids could have never organized such a large protest without politically funded assistance. These types of protests are led and funded by organizations such as the Obama Foundation (Obama wants to create a million little Obama’s https://www.thetrumpet.com/17071-barack-obamas-youth-movement ) and the socialist movement led by Bernie Sanders.

On late night TV we see young smart aleck comedians and actors expressing their political views rather than sticking to entertainment. They come across as righteous concerned but then act in and produce violent, life degrading, sexual movies and music videos. Please!

What strikes me about it of course is how the Book of Isaiah predicts this will happen when the nation turns from God and the political scene has become corrupted. This is what is happening in America today. The inexperienced youth are dictating to the nation.

Youth is glorified and desired by the world. Old age is scorned, the wisdom of the senior ignored. The kids today are spoiled and accustomed to getting everything they want. Our schools, for the majority, don’t spend much time on American History studying the Constitution and why it was written. For years we've been “dumbing down” our schools. In many aspects, colleges are vast wastelands (not all of them of course) that promote political agendas.

The trend has been downward. God has been kicked out of politics, schools, and social life. The victims of horrific tragedies wonder how these things could happen. The sad fact is we kicked God out of our schools and society. We said we didn’t want Him around—but now it’s His fault?

Isaiah is a great book to read. Lately I’ve been led to seriously study it. The first six chapters totally describe where the US and the world are at. The first thirty 36 chapters describe the eroding of nations and the later chapters describe the second coming and the Millennial Kingdom. Take the time to read it and you will see the mirror image of our time.
