GOD HAS ESTABLISHED TRUMP AS AMERICA’S PRESIDENT BECAUSE WE DESERVE HIM

"It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.” Daniel 2.21

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves." Romans 13.1-2

The above verses are two of many others in the Word confirming that it is God who appoints leaders. Leaders are appointed based upon the character of the nation:

…for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil. Romans 13.4

When the nation is practicing righteousness and upholding law God will appoint a ruler with character. When the nation is lawless and practicing lawlessness God will allow a ruler that mirrors the nation—a lawless or unrighteous leader.

For the past 20 years or more we have seen a true downward turn by America. During this time “Reality Shows” became the most popular entertainment on television. These shows feature rebellious, in your face characters. Think of some of these shows: Bad Girls Club, Jerseylicious, Half Pint Brawlers, etc. Here is a list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_reality_television_programs Most if not all of these shows featured in your face adventures in every show. 

During the past 20 years Hollywood has featured the same type of movies. We see murder, killing, blood, and all manner of violence in the movies. Our society loves this.

Now we have a President who was a star in his own reality TV show. He is an “in your face” always battling type of guy. He is his own worst enemy constantly saying things that get people upset and he does it on purpose!

He grew up as a brash in your face person. He loves to call people names and say things to disparage others. Constant chaos. He is not a classy guy. He is not an elite. He says what many of us really think. He is not PC.

In fact, he represents what America has become: A rich, spoiled, in your face, and lawless nation.

Washington D.C. is full of criminals—but nobody is going to jail. Our political system is corrupt to the core but we keep re-electing the same types of individuals each cycle. Now we have a President who despises “politicians.”

In reality Democrats and Republicans are members of the same club. They only care about getting re-elected (and we keep doing it) and telling us what we want to hear. When is the last time the two parties came up with any well thought out program to benefit the nation? Our President is not a member, nor do they want him to be, of the club.

They just rush things through and demagogue each other along the way. They never deal with the real issues in a fair and just manner. They harangue and obstruct each other and the result is laws that create a worse situation than the one they replace.

The ethical standards of Congress and Senate have degenerated to the bottom of the bowl—just like the rest of the nation. Everything is about “Me”. What’s in it for me. Our President is a “me” type of guy.

God has given us a President we deserve. The Left deserves him just as much as the Right. He represents what America has become. We are experiencing the fall of a great empire—just as all great empires have fallen throughout history.

Many of President Trumps idea’s and programs would be good for America. What is wrong with a secure border in times like these? What is wrong with just vetting of immigrants? What is wrong with refusing to fund the phony United Nations programs which line the pockets of the ruling elites of foreign nations? What is wrong with fair trade deals?

I could go on and on but 50% of the nation thinks all of these things are unjust. Most Americans couldn’t even have an intelligent discussion about these subjects because they know nothing about them—it is just about hating Trump.

So, God has given us a mirror image of ourselves. WE deserve all of the trouble that is coming our way because we have become a nation of lawlessness. As a nation we deserve Mr. Trump and God is using him to bring about His will in our country—just as he uses and guides all in authority.

Just as He has been guiding all His-story, God is in charge. Throughout history, as a nation spirals into immorality and spiritual decline, the leaders become worse and worse. Hitler was no accident—just read German history—the nation was ripe for such a man.

Trump is no better or worse than any of us. He certainly is no politician. He is a guy. He has diminished the office of President, but so did Bill Clinton. This is an ongoing process of deterioration. Watch how worse it is going to get. Trump  will be the first of many like him representing both parties. We are in for a wild ride!

As God’s people we are to obey authority, but we are citizens of a kingdom which is not of this world. WE are disciples of Yeshua and walk accordingly. We look for a kingdom which is coming and are occupying until He comes. Hopefully we are being changed into His image day by day—not an always easy or pleasant experience. But we are more than overcomers if our hearts are sincere.

Focus on Yeshua and His kingdom. Let the world see there is another way. Shine that light as best you can and ask God for grace to do it. Our time to stand up and be counted is upon us. Much is going to be required of us.

America’s best days are behind it…but the world to come is going to out shine all that is of this world. Now is the time for us to walk it out one day at a time. He will never leave or forsake us. Stay Yeshua-ish and carry on!
