ALLOWING THE BIBLE TO INTERPRET ITSELF GIVES US UNDERSTANDING OF THE END TIMES
The most critical key to understanding the Bible is to allow it to interpret itself. In order to understand what is the truth one must first recognize the truth. Allowing the Bible to interpret itself is of utmost importance. The second most critical factor is to have a solid understanding of Biblical and World history.
In order to allow the Bible to interpret itself we must first understand the history found in the Bible. We must have a thorough understanding of the Old Testament. Without that it is impossible to understand many of the things Y’shua was doing in the New Testament.
An example of this would be the woman caught in adultery. Why did the religious leaders bring her to Jesus for judgment? They were trying to get Y’shua to break the law. They were trying to trick Him.
Leviticus 20.10 states: “If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.”
The religious leaders only brought the adulteress to Y’shua. Where was the adulterer? What was Y’shua writing in the dust with his finger? Most likely he was writing Leviticus 20.10. The Torah was written with the finger of Yahweh. Y’shua was most likely writing this command in the dirt with His finger.
The religious leaders were the ones breaking the law. Y’shua said, “He who is without sin may cast the first stone.” They knew they were trying to trick Y’shua and He caught them—they slinked away. Y’shua commanded the adulteress to “go and sin no more.” He released her from the law because the law was not being followed by the leaders.
Until I began to understand the history and law of the Old Testament I had many unanswered questions about things. Many of those questions are being answered by allowing the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—interpret themselves.
Let’s do a quick study on some end time questions.
Who is the antichrist?  1 John 2.18-19 says:  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

These two verses tell us that there will be a person known as the antichrist prior to Y’shua returning, in the present time there are many antichrists (spirits of antichrist), and that both types of antichrist came out from us.

In the Bible the false religion is called Mystery Babylon or the Harlot. Read Proverbs 7 and you will see a harlot luring a man into sin. This is what false religion does. Mystery Babylon is a false antichrist religion that is already present and developing in our present world. It came out from us. It does not allow the Bible to interpret itself—it makes its own laws and times.

Daniel 7.25 is an interesting scripture: And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

This verse is talking about both the spirit of antichrist (present) and the person of antichrist (to come) and how the times and laws will be changed. What times and laws? This is simple if we allow the Bible and history to interpret themselves.

If we take the Bible seriously and believe it is the word of God and His instruction to, and for us, we will discover that the Bible is written in a different time and calendar than that which the world observes.

A Biblical day begins and ends at 6 PM. A day begins as the sun sets and ends 24 hours later when the sun sets. We have 12 hours of night and then 12 hours of day. This is how the Bible keeps time. That is why in the King James translation, which is very close to the original, it says Y’shua was crucified at the 3rd hour, which is 9 AM in the morning (Mark 15.25).

The Bible also has its own calendar and feast days described in Leviticus 23. The Lord says these are “His Feasts” very clearly. This is the calendar we are supposed to follow!

Does the church today follow this time and calendar? No! So, then, how do we interpret Daniel 7.25? What times and laws have been changed? There is only one possible answer. The times and laws of the Bible have been changed.

We in Christianity follow the Roman calendar. We follow the Roman feast days. These are the times and laws we follow. This is not the Biblical time or calendar we are to follow!

Our government has also changed the laws of the Torah/Bible. Gay marriage is OK, abortion is OK. Not in the word of God are these things OK—they are sin.

We see how both the religious and secular governments of this world have changed the times and laws written in the word of God.

Paul says we are grafted into the “Commonwealth of Israel” in Ephesians 2.11-13. In Romans 11 Paul talks about how we Gentiles are grafted into Israel. This can only mean that we are to follow the Biblical time and calendar, not the Roman religious/secular calendar. They have no desire to be “grafted into Israel.”

This is how allowing the Bible to interpret itself begins to reveal truth. Truth is not always easy to accept is it? Truth changes things—“truth sets you free” is how Y’shua put it.

Do you want to understand the times we live in and what is to come? Do you desire to live prophetically and understand the prophetic word of God? Then ask Yahweh, “what is truth?” If you are sincere you will eventually see the truth—then the eyes of your understanding will be opened!
