BIBLE VERSES FOR STUDY ON THE END OF THE AGE

Robe Dipped in blood…Revelation 19.11, 13-15
...And I saw the heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that was seated upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war…And he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies that are in the heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the Gentiles; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Isaiah 63.2-4...Why art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treads in the winefat?
I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no one with me; for I have trodden them with my anger and have trampled them with my fury; and their blood sprinkled my garments and stained all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

The stars will fall…
Isaiah 64.1
...Oh that thou would rend the heavens, that thou would come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

Rev 19.11...And I saw the heaven open, and behold a white horse; and he that was seated upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

Isaiah 64.2...as when the melting fire burns, the fire causes the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the Gentiles may tremble at thy presence!

Isaiah 65.17...For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Isaiah 66.22...For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Rev 21--Isaiah 24, 25, 35, 43, 51, 52, 54, 60, 61...New Jerusalem.

Rev 6.13-14...and the stars of heaven fell upon the earth, even as a fig tree casts her figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Isaiah 34.3-4...Their slain shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcasses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fall down as the leaf falls off from the vine and as the leaf falls from the fig tree.

Matt 24.29...Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken,

Jeremiah 30.7...Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

How Israel will be saved…
Zechariah 12
...Jerusalem point of international controversy.

Zechariah 13...fountain of forgiveness and cleansing opens

Zechariah 14...Nations attack Jerusalem/Israel

Zech 12.10...And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of prayer, and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn over him as one mourns for his only son, afflicting themselves over him as one afflicts himself over his firstborn.

Second Pentecost…
Joel 2.28-29
...And it shall come to pass after this that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: and even upon the slaves and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Matt 24--Joel 2.30-32...And I will show wonders in the heaven and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes. And it shall come to pass that whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall escape: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be salvation, as the LORD has said, and in those who are left, to whom the LORD shall have called.

Acts 2

Hebrew Prophets and the Olivet Discourse…
Matt 24.30
...and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with great power and glory.

Zechariah 12.10-14...And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of prayer, and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn over him as one mourns for his only son, afflicting themselves over him as one afflicts himself over his firstborn.

In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall mourn, each family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

Dan 7.13...I saw in the vision of the night, and, behold, in the clouds of heaven like a Son of man that came and drew near unto the Elder of great age, and they brought him near before him.

Matt 24.31...And he shall send his angels with a trumpet and a great voice, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Isaiah 27.12-13...And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD shall smite from the channel of the river Euphrates unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye sons of Israel. And it shall come to pass in that day that the great shofar shall be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Matt 24.29-31...Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with great power and glory. And he shall send his angels with a trumpet and a great voice, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
