PART ONE: THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL, GLOBALIZATION, AND MYSTERY BABYLON

Deuteronomy 12:29-32 We cannot worship God using Pagan idols and feasts. God says He is holy and separate and so we should be.

1 Corinthians 10 We are not to mix pagan practices with Christian. This would include tattoo’s and piercing which are popular today. If a person who has tattoo’s receives Christ what they have done in the past is past. Once saved, however, these practices should cease. God wants us to be a new creation in Christ and to be holy as He is holy. Lev 19 We are saved by grace once and for all, but after becoming a Christian we are required to behave in a godly manner. Leviticus 19 points this out very clearly.


1 Kings 18:1-19 Pagans sat at Jezebel’s table and were an abomination to the Lord. Elijah points this out very clearly. Exodus 32 points this out. God does not want mixture. Christians who refuse to allow God to write His law upon their hearts are not walking in righteousness. We are to be in the world but not of it. John 17:15-18 As Christians we walk in this world in consecration to God, a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1


Revelations 2:18-29 The church at Thyatira was committing adultery, in other words, mixing the pagan with the Christian. This is not the way we are called to live. We are to be transformed into the image of the Lord. We see the Lord warning the church to repent of this and walk in His commandments. No one can legislate your heart--you are either open to the Lord’s leading or you aren’t.


The spirit of Jezebel is a strongman ruling over nations. She is the Queen of the Cosmos and is a spiritual principality in high places. Notice that this spirit of Jezebel is in the church (Rev 2:20) and calls herself a prophetess. There are many false doctrines and lifestyles in the church today. There is much to much mixture in our lives.


God wants us to overcome the spirit of Jezebel in the church and we will rule over the nations. Today this spirit of Jezebel is seen in the globalist movement. Psalm 2 The Lord gives us the power to overcome if we walk in His commandments (Torah). Rev 2:26-27

POWER CITIES OF JEZEBEL

Thyatira was under the influence of Jezebel. In Nelson’s Bible dictionary we find this about Thyatira: Archaeologists have uncovered evidence of many trade guilds and unions here. Membership in these trade guilds, necessary for financial and social success, often involved pagan customs and practices such as superstitious worship, union feasts using food sacrificed to idols, and loose sexual morality.


In those times the pagan temples also functioned like banks do today. They stored wealth and provided exchange services for changing money. That is what the money changers were doing at the temple in Jesus’ time. They would change Roman coin into Hebrew coin so worshippers would not be using defiled money. Notice how the early banks of our nation resemble Roman Temples. We also have many secret societies in our civilization that are based on pagan and superstitious beliefs. Some of these societies also mix in Judeo-Christian ethics and ideas. Many mix ancient mythology with Biblical truths. These are a perverted mix of the true word. It is important to be aware of these false mixtures.


Tyre and Sidon were the cities Jezebel was raised in. Her father was the high priest of Baal and he murdered his brother in order to secure his throne. Jezebel’s method of operation is described in 1 Kings 21. She was a murderer, jealous, envious, and a manipulator. Manipulation is highly manifest in witchcraft. Her father Ethbaal brought together the worship of Baal and the Canaanite goddess Ashtoreth.


Tyre and Sidon were commercial shipping centers. These cities’ governments were under Baal and Ashtoreth. They were modeled after Babylon. Ezekiel 28:12-19 is both a picture of the evil of Tyre and Sidon and of the casting out of Satan from heaven. God is calling us to come out of the Babylonian/new world order system. Rev 18:4


Other God’s associated with and interchangeable are: Marduke and Asher who also guided nations and were the type of cities and nations Jezebel was raised in. She pressured King Ahab and weaved her pagan practices into the culture of Israel. We should not tolerate this spirit in our lives, festivals, churches, or holidays. She should have no foothold in our lives. If we walk in Torah she should not negatively affect us.


Everything in the pagan world goes back to Nimrod and the tower of Babel. Gen 11 This was the first generational new world order. Baal = Marduke = Nimrod. These go back to Hammurabi who was under Marduke. The cross of Shamash is similar to a Nazi iron cross and is used in many religious robes and symbols.


An obelisk is also called “Baal’s shaft” It is an erect penis. It is used in Masonic and other occult orders. We see many obelisks throughout the world and the USA. These are pagan symbols that reach all the way back to Nimrod. They are the symbols of “the spirit of the world”.


Ishtar is a goddess of fertility, freedom, liberty, war, sensuality, moon (Islam), and the planet Venus. She is also referred to as the Queen of Heaven and is the same spirit as Jezebel. Solomon strayed after strange gods in his day and the Lord was not pleased. 1 Kings 11:4-10


Diana of Rome = Athena of Greece = Minerva = Juno. These goddesses represented war and freedom and liberty. These symbols are everywhere in our nation. The seal of New Jersey, District of Columbia, and the Statue of Liberty to name a few. These goddesses are also representative of exhibitionism. They have a strong association with Hollywood and celebrity worship. Think Columbia pictures and much of the imagery in today’s music and movies.


It is important to be able to identify the subtile ways in which we can be influenced by the “spirit of the world” in modern times. When we understand the root causes and origination of these things we can much more easily overcome them in our lives. The Lord does not want us to be mixed in with these things. We are to be holy as He is holy. If we understand the spirit in which we do things, we can walk in the freedom of the Holy Spirit.

SUMMARYThe Spirit of Jezebel is the strongman spirit of the world. She is queen of the world/Babylonian system. Her spirit is involved in all phases of society today. She represents the spirit of the world designed by the god of this world (Revelations 18:18-29). Jezebel weaves pagan imagery into the financial, governmental, and religious fabric of nations today. She is the goddess of the world’s version of social justice, liberty, and freedom today. These include Gaia, witchcraft, new age, paganism, feminism, and other spiritualist crafts.

Everything is OK, we can do whatever we want, and all religions lead to salvation. She is the queen of false prophets and the doctrines of humanism in this world. To understand the root causes opens up our understanding of spiritual warfare. Eph 6:10-18
