ISAIAH FORETELLS AMERICA AND WESTERN WORLD SINS

These are not wrath judgments, but judgments to repentance. God wants man to return to Him. Man’s rebellion creates a curse situation. Deut 28, Lev 26.

Society would feature feminism and generational conflict. Isaiah 3:12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.”

Our society is becoming much more feminine in every way. Men are told to be more sensitive to their feminine side and give way to women’s desires more and more. Advertisers gear much of their marketing more and more toward women. Women’s rights, such as the right to abortion, are considered sacred. Meanwhile our enemies in China, Russia, and radical Islamic countries sneer at western society. Men act more like children and act irresponsibly. The women today often act more responsibly than the men!

An open “gay rights” movement Isaiah 3:9 The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.

Our society glorifies the gay lifestyle in movies and TV. In California gay history is required to be taught in the public school system. Gay pride parades happen everywhere. Everyone is entitled to their freedom in our society but our entertainment industry glorifies what God considers unrighteous or sinful behavior.

An attitude of callous disregard for the needs of the poor. Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor: Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.

Our corporations move their operations offshore to maximize profits while our middle class is turned to poverty. Youth is worshipped, old people are not consulted for their wisdom--or admired for it. The poor demand entitlements, the rich avoid paying their fair share. Our society is turned upside down.

Their leadership elites would “lead them astray” Isaiah 3:12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.”

More and more we see a youth culture in the West. The needs and desires of youth are constantly stroked in movies, TV, and advertising. Older workers have a difficult time getting jobs as youth is preferred. Children make outrageous demands of their parents and flagrantly disobey.

Their political leaders (“princes”) would be “rebellious” against God and be “companions of thieves” who “love bribes” and “follow after gifts” Isaiah 1:23 Your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves; Everyone loves bribes, And follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, Nor does the cause of the widow come before them.

Does this sound like our political system? Bribes are called campaign contributions or spending earmarks. Global corporations decide on policy and pay off politicians to pass laws favorable to them. The entertainment business puts out filth, pagan themed fantasies, and occult themed music videos. Then they pander to politicians to vote their way with large political donations.

These nations will be very materialistic Isaiah 2:7 Their land is also full of silver and gold, And there is no end to their treasures; Their land is also full of horses, And there is no end to their chariots.

We live in a very materialistic society where it is important to have lots of stuff--and to go into debt to get it! Our financial system is based on debt as a means of expansion.

They would seek after eastern concepts and occult guidance (“soothsayers”). Isaiah 2:6 For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways; They are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they are pleased with the children of foreigners.

Sounds like new age and pagan rites of today? Witchcraft, occultism, and paganism if rampant in Western society. It has even infiltrated our churches. See entertainment above. Wicca, witchcraft, feminism, and abortion have their roots in pagan rites.

God also prophetically details how the “daughters” of his people will dress and act like temptresses. Isaiah 3:16-24

Moreover the LORD says: “ Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk with outstretched necks And wanton eyes, Walking and mincing as they go, Making a jingling with their feet, Therefore the Lord will strike with a scab The crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, And the LORD will uncover their secret parts.”

In that day the Lord will take away the finery: The jingling anklets, the scarves, and the crescents; The pendants, the bracelets, and the veils; The headdresses, the leg ornaments, and the headbands; The perfume boxes, the charms, and the rings; The nose jewels, the festal apparel, and the mantles; The outer garments, the purses, and the mirrors;
The fine linen, the turbans, and the robes. And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.

Does this sound like American celebrity and Hollywood culture? Tattoo’s, piercings, toe rings, and the like are very important to today’s cool youth culture. Sexuality is flaunted by our entertainment culture. Everyone wants attention and will go to any lengths to get it.

A dearth of capable, strong national leaders is also prophesied Isaiah 3:2-4 The mighty man and the man of war, The judge and the prophet, And the diviner and the elder; The captain of fifty and the honorable man, The counselor and the skillful artisan, And the expert enchanter. “ I will give children to be their princes, And babes shall rule over them.

Does this sound like our youth culture? Where are the great statesmen of the past? Everywhere you look someone right out of college with no experience is in charge. What happened to those with experience? Even in the church the wise elder is tough to find. The church pursues the youth with new age concepts and eastern paganism to increase their congregations. Instant gratification is more important than well thought out solutions. Hurry, Hurry, Money, Money!

Read the first four chapters of Isaiah and you are seeing a mirror image of American and the Western nations. God is calling us to His Kingdom and way of living. Now is the time we start to practice righteousness. We have practiced sin for too long. Make this a private matter between you and Yeshua and He will help you rid your life of secret sins.
