SERIOUS THREAT OF WAR DEVELOPING ON THE GOLAN ISRAEL SYRIAN BORDER

Israel has been reinforcing their military presence in the Golan Heights in response to the Syrian Civil War heating up in the area. The Syrian army is currently active in Daraa province which is nearby.

The Iranians are supporting the Syrian troops and have developed a strong presence in the Golan Heights and throughout Syria. The aim of the Iranians is to allow Syria to retake the areas close to the Golan security zone and afterwards launch a full attack on Israel. Now that Syria is on the brink of total victory war with Israel is a strong possibility. https://www.bloombergquint.com/politics/2018/07/10/israel-on-watch-as-once-quiet-border-rumbles-with-sounds-of-war

I visited this area this past May 2018 and saw the borders of both Syria and Lebanon. Things were quiet that day but the presence of Israel’s enemies was obvious. I took the photo left, from our van which shows a Hezbolla flag flying on top of the hill in Syria. Later we traveled to a lookout overlooking Lebanon.

We also visited the Valley of Tears where a four day battle took place between Syrian and Israeli troops in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

The threat of further clashes between Syria and Israel remains high at this moment. This is not an idle threat.  Recently top Iranian officials in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) suggested open hostilities between Israel, Syria, and pro-Iranian forces could break out at any moment as the IRGC has vowed to "break" Israel's presence, especially along the Golan.

Israeli Prime Minister Neyanyahu will be visiting Russian President Putin today, July 11, 2018 to discuss this developing threat to Israel. President Trump will also be visiting with Mr. Putin in Helsinki on Monday July 16th. This topic will most likely be on their agenda.

Bible Prophecy

The Bible in Psalm 83 predicts a coming war between Israel and a confederate of Arab states. The development of hostilities in the Golan may be a precursor to this war.

Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” Psalm 83.1-4

Verses six through eight list the confederation of states which will come against Israel at this time. Iran has been plotting for years to destroy Israel. They support all the terrorist groups that hate Israel. Their desire to create nuclear weapons is for the sole purpose of destroying Israel and the United States.

Israel is God’s witness to the nations. Even though Israel is more of a secular nation than religious nation they are still the “pupil of God’s eye.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the pupil of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me. Zechariah 2.8-9

Israel has a most difficult road ahead of them but Elohim will reveal His glory to the raging nations through the coming events and wars. He will save us and Israel when the day is darkest.

God’s Chastisement

All of Elohim’s judgments are righteous. Throughout the Bible He judges the nations through other nations. When Israel and Judah turned from God they were warned by the prophets to return. When the people refused and fell further into sin a nation from afar would attack them.

God still judges the nations by allowing them to war. Israel is the pupil of His eye—but at this time they too are not trusting in the Lord. At some point Israel will be on the brink of destruction but they will turn and repent and that will be the time Yeshua returns to save us.

The Book of Zechariah is loaded with end time information. Please take the time to read and pray over it. It describes God’s great love for His people and their glorious future. Remember also, that we as believers in Yeshua, are grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel (Ephesians 2.11-13).

Zechariah describes the “time of Jacob’s” trouble in the latter chapters and the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom. It predicts that the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, will be divided. When this event takes place we will be entering the tribulation period.

The United States and European Union

The current disagreements between the U.S. and EU also are prophetic. President Trump is correct in addressing the unfair trade imbalances and NATO agreement issues. The problem is that these issues have not been addressed in the past and will end up marginalizing and isolating the U.S. in the coming years.

This will allow the end time events predicted in the Bible to proceed at a faster pace as the U.S. influence and power wanes. Watch for these developments during the next few years. We are entering a very prophetic time in the world’s history.

I firmly believe the Bible predicts that after President Trump’s time in office is complete the United States will make a “hard left turn” and we will experience a civil war of intolerance on both sides. We can see it developing. We as followers of Yeshua are going to be hard pressed as grapes!

Brexit

Britain leaving the EU is also a significant development. Britain is represented by Ephraim in the Bible and the Book of Hosea has much to say about Ephraim mixing with the Gentiles and becoming a “silly dove” in the latter days. In fact, Britain and the U.S. are Ephraim and Manasseh, the two great Israelite nations blessed and prophesied over by their Grandfather Jacob in Genesis 48.8-20.

Our two great nations were blessed by Elohim and preached the Gospel throughout the world and controlled the gates of their enemies (Gen 22.17) through Abraham. Also read the prophecies concerning Joseph in Gen 49.22-26 and Deuteronomy 32.13-19. These words are for Joseph and his offspring, Ephraim and Manasseh in the latter days. This is stuff you won’t learn in church! Search this blog for more!

Let us be calm and carry on in Yeshua. Watch, pray, and follow the prophetic events playing out before our very eyes in this day. Our God is moving events toward His salvation. Hallelujah!
