VISTING THE HOLY LAND

My wife and I are going to be visiting the Holy Land in a few days. I had been praying for an opportunity to visit again, since my first visit in 2010 when I was commissioned to be a WATCHMAN ON THE WALL to pray and watch for Jerusalem and God’s purposes in the Middle East. My commission took place in Jerusalem in 2010 by the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and Eagles Wings. Our mission: To pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Yahweh's will and kingdom to come to earth.

For this trip I asked for four things:

1. A trip with a smaller group. The first trip was with 58 people.

2. A slower paced trip.

3. A trip that cost a lot less.

4. Ability to visit with, and get to know, people living and working in the country.

I prayed for a few weeks and gave it over to Him. A couple months later it came as a complete surprise. I met a person who asked us what we were doing, and I replied waiting to find a tour of Israel. That person and her husband were planning a trip with 16 people that met all the things I had prayed about. That’s our God!

We will be going at a time of unrest in Israel. Her enemies are aroused and tensions are increasing due to President Trump’s moving of the US Embassy to Jerusalem. This is a prophetic move. It is also a common sense move. It may lead to a peace treaty in the near future. Not God’s peace—a man made false peace.

I am sure President Trump wants to make the Deal of All Deals—peace in the Middle East. He and his son in law, Jared Kushner are diligently working towards this goal. We’ll see what happens.

In Zechariah 14 it says that Jerusalem will be divided before the coming of the Messiah. From articles I’ve read this is part of the peace plan. To cede the eastern portion of Jerusalem to the Palestinians to be their capital. This is just one step toward the return of Yeshua ha Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah.

Many other events will follow this move. Watch for it.

While in country I will be praying, watching, and listening to our Lord and those people in country. My desire is to increase in understanding and discernment of events occurring and to occur in the region. I most likely will not be posting during this time. I will send out some emails to supporters and friends, but will try to keep activities at a minimum in order to not be distracted. I want to hear from Him.

I believe it will be a very interesting trip and ask that readers of the blog will pray for us all. After we return I will post some on what happened and how it relates to our current time. There will be some posts scheduled for the period we are gone.

We do not believe the pre-tribulation rapture is scriptural—it is false teaching. Many will learn this the hard way, but I don’t have to say anymore. It will play out. God’s people will be tried in the fire and made ready for the final wedding feast.

Just want to make that clear. Those of us who are alive during this time will be tremendously blessed and tried. It will not be easy, but many will survive and be tired as gold. I do not wish or pray for the day of the Lord—it will be a dark day:

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD shall be darkness, and not light. As if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? Amos 5.18-20

It will come at the appointed time. In the meanwhile we will continue to occupy until he comes. We will live in the light while it is light.

Jerusalem is ground zero. In some ways it may be the safest place on the planet. It is the place where Yeshua is waiting for the Father’s permission to return and save His people! We are privileged to be able to visit at this momentous time.

Stay tuned. Your prayers are much appreciated.
