WALKING IN THE SPIRIT IS WALKING IN THE TORAH/LAW OF YAHWEH

 

Please read this with an open heart. It is short and surely incomplete, but the idea is still obvious. Bear with it as it will take a while to get to the point. Our point of contention is more on the approach then on the word itself. I don't believe the Lord wants us to discard anything, but there is an approach that is in a different realm that I believe the Lord wants His people to understand. There are many mansions in His house.

 

This is the way I am called to walk. I will obey what I believe the Spirit is showing me. I have been in prayer in my wilderness for 11 months and have had many specific things I prayed about answered in various ways. I don't want to be judgmental in anyway. Each of us needs to find our way.

 

If no one can hear what I say now, then that is the way the Lord wishes it to be for this season of their life. Finally hear me, I love God's law. One day in His court is better than a thousand. It's not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord. Zechariah 4.6

 

To enter the Kingdom of God you must be born again. To be born again is to see Jesus. Mighty things are in the works which are going to shock the world in both the natural and spiritual realms. I have a divine appointment in Jerusalem. We all have a divine appointment in Jerusalem, but let us remember Isaiah 55:8-9:

 

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

 

Torah was given to the children of Israel as they wandered in the wilderness. It was God's Holy Law instructing them how to live. This law made them a peculiar people among all peoples of the earth, holy and separate unto God.

 

God established a priesthood and blood sacrifice for the people to atone for their sins when they broke the law. The priesthood and blood sacrifices were instruction for the coming advent of the Messiah. God would require blood sacrifice for sin and the Messiah would be that lamb. He would be the way into the Holy of Holies.

 

As you know, the people were not able to live up to the law. Each time they told Moses, "we will do all the Lord our God requires", they were soon back to worshipping idols. Our sinful nature cannot live up to the requirements of the law. This too, was God's way of showing man that a savior would be required.

 

Experientially it is impossible to live up to the law. We all fail miserably. Does that negate the law? Of course not. The law is good, righteous, and just. We just aren't able to live it—as it is our school master. So God provided Jesus. He is our High Priest and blood sacrifice. He is the living word--the living Torah. He washes us clean.

 

When the Lord was crucified the veil of the temple was rent from top to bottom. Later, just as Jesus prophesied the temple was destroyed. It was time to put the new wine into new wine skins. As Hebrews explains there is a new and living way that is fulfillment of the old.

 

It is in a spiritual way we live Torah now in the Messiah. Paul calls it “walking in the Spirit.” God’s Law is not negated, but the way it is obeyed and lived out experientially in our life is new and different. A new and living way. Not a legalistic way.

 

We are discarding the traditions of men, now Jesus is the alive and living tradition, moving in our lives through the person of the Holy Spirit. The scales are lifted from our eyes and we are free in Christ. Paul gloried in this. Paul was overcome by this. Paul was radically changed forever!

 

There is always a tension between sin and spirit in our fleshly temples because we have not yet put on immortality. We are exhorted to walk in the spirit and have a circumcised heart. This is not humanly possible, but with God all things are possible. The Holy Spirit will help us through much personal trial and tribulation to abide in Him. This is a process that takes much time. It is a winnowing in our daily lives. Our God is patient with us.

 

Looking at the church physically we see it is entirely missing the point. This is personal. This is between the believer and his willingness to advance into a higher realm of the Spirit. Many are called but few are chosen. Few choose to pay the price of what a closer relationship with the person of Jesus means. It is daily time in His presence and seeking to hear personally. It is obeying the Spirit in a personal, daily experiential way. It is not my way, Lord, but help me to go Your way. Again, it is very personal. He is moving in a powerful way and is calling individuals to wait in His presence and hear His voice. This is opposite of what our flesh desires to do—we want ACTION!

 

He is building a church, a spiritual church, out of every nation and tongue. He is calling Jew and Gentile into a realm where no flesh will glory—NO MORE ME—ONLY HE.

 

The church is not one group, organization, or people. It is all those who hear his voice and respond to His calling. It is a spiritual body made up of every nation and tongue. He loves all his people and will not leave any behind, but not all believers will rule and reign with Christ. There is a multitude with palm branches worshipping around the throne, and there are those who have chosen to lean over and lay upon His breast and hear the deep calling unto deep.

 

He loves us all, but to some He will reveal deeper things. It is a personal choice. All who believe are saved, some just never advance beyond high school. That is true of both Gentile and Jew. Jesus is the head of this church, the called out.

 

In His day the religious leaders hated him because He was crushing their hypocritical authority. They couldn't stand the fact that He was the living Torah. So they got rid of Him—or so they thought! It has been this way for 2,000 years. How many millions has the church of God killed in the name of the Lord? I don't belong to that church. My sinful nature would belong to that church, but not the new creation man.

 

So much more can be said but I think you get my point. A new man is rising like the world has never seen:

 

May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, to carry out the sentence written against them— this is the glory of all his faithful people.

Praise the Lord. Ps149.6-9

 

These are a “spiritual people” moving in Yahweh’s spiritual power—not the power of the flesh nor way of men. In that day it will astound the world and prepare the way for His coming!

FACTS ABOUT THE ISRAELI DEFENSE FORCES

 

 

It is sometimes difficult for us to visualize Yeshua as Commander in Chief of the Armies of God but that is exactly who He is. The Bible uses the term “Lord of Hosts” to describe Yeshua’s role as Commander in Chief. In the realm of spiritual warfare as described in Ephesians 6.11-18 we can see ourselves as soldiers in God’s Army.

 

We are told to put on the whole armor of God and to stand against the enemy. Our spiritual warfare affects what happens not only on earth but in the heavenly realm. The Book of Daniel chapters 9 and 10 describe Daniel’s encounter with Gabriel and Michael, two Archangels of the Lord.

 

Daniel’s prayers were part of the warfare taking place in the heavenly realm. They had an effect on the battle taking place in the air which in turn had an effect on what was taking place on earth in our realm. During the 20^th Century God raised up an intercessor by the name of Rees Howells in Wales. This man was led to open several Bible Colleges that focused on intercession.

 

During World War Two Mr. Howells and the students at these schools prayed through the great battles of the war. They wrestled in the spirit until they prayed through. They would note the time that they felt they had prayed through specific battles and later would read in the newspapers the time when the tide of battle had turned. The times would always match! The Book of Daniel lays out this principle of spiritual warfare along with Ephesians. Our prayers are effectual and have an effect on what happens here on earth. This is a principle especially seen throughout the Old Testament in the Book of Joshua and Kings. God fights for and stands up for His people when they are fighting righteous battles. Our prayers for the action in the Middle East do not fall on deaf ears--God hears!

 

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is the army of Israel. The “Ramat Kal” is Hebrew for Commander in Chief. Conversely we can look at Yeshua as our “Ramat Kal.” The IDF ideally operates on a principle called “Ruach Tzahal” or “Spirit of the IDF” which represents the values of and foundation for the responsibilities of the IDF. This is the ethical code that is applied to all units of the IDF. Every soldier and commander in the army studies this code in detail. A framed copy hangs in every commander’s office as a constant reminder of the IDF’s values and guidelines.

 

The Ruach Tzahal Draws from Four Sources:

1. The tradition of the IDF and its military heritage as the Israel Defense Forces.

2. The tradition of the State of Israel and its democratic principles, laws and institutions.

3. The tradition of the Jewish People throughout history.

4. Universal moral values based on the value of dignity and human life.

 

From These Fundamental Values Comes the Following Ten Additional Values:

 

1. Human Life - The IDF serviceman will recognize the value of human life and will often place himself at risk to the extent required to carry out his mission.

 

2. Purity of Arms - The IDF soldier is to apply self-control in the use of armed force for the purpose of subduing the enemy. He is to limit his use of force so as to prevent unnecessary harm to human life.

 

3. Personal Example - The IDF soldier will act as he demands of others, thoughtfully and dedicatedly.

 

4. Responsibility - The IDF soldier will see himself as an active participant in the defense of his country and its citizens.

 

5. Comradeship - The IDF soldier will always go to the aid of his comrades when they need his help or depend on him, despite any danger or difficulty, even to the point of risking his life.

 

6. Professionalism - The IDF soldier will aspire to be familiar with and understand the body of knowledge pertaining to his military position and will master every skill necessary for carrying out his duties.

 

7. Discipline - The IDF soldier will execute completely and successfully all that is required of him according to the letter and spirit of his orders and within the framework of the law.

 

8. Loyalty - The IDF soldier will act with complete dedication in the defense of the State of Israel and it’s citizens, according to IDF orders, within the framework of the laws of the state and democratic principles.

 

9. Reliability and Trustworthiness - The IDF serviceman will strive in all his actions to fulfill his duties correctly and at the highest professional level--thorough preparation to true, honest, complete and precise reporting.

 

10. Perseverance in Mission and Dedication to the Pursuit of Victory - The IDF soldier will fight and conduct himself with courage in the face of all dangers and obstacles; he will persevere in his mission courageously and resolutely to the point of endangering his own life.

Is the IDF a perfect example? Of course not. They have made mistakes and violated these principles during the course of war. The fact is that they are trained to fight according to these values and do their best to preserve innocent lives in combat--not an easy task. Anything that puts a soldier at risk such as these principles is just another obstacle for them to overcome in the ugly state of warfare—LIVE COMBAT!

 

Compare the IDF with the values of their enemies and the contrasts are glaringly obvious. Radical Islam has no respect for human life, diverse cultures or religions. They murder people unmercifully and glory in the shedding of blood. They are driven by the spirit of the power of the air--Satan who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy.

 

They have no regard for Israel and only desire to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. How do you negotiate peace with this type of enemy? Would the United States negotiate with this type of enemy? Why should Israel? Yet they continue to try.

 

Swearing in Service

 

When an IDF soldier completes his or her training, they swear to protect the “moedet” or the land of their forefathers. In Hebrew “Ani Nishba” means “I swear.” They consider themselves to be entering into a covenant with God and country. Each soldier receives a rifle in their left hand and a copy of the Hebrew Bible in their right hand. The officiating Rabbi reads from Joshua 1 and the troops sing the national anthem “Ha Tikvah” meaning “The Hope” which reflects on the dry bones coming together in Ezekiel 37.

 

As we watch events unfold in the Middle East and Israel it is good we understand Israel’s position and support their army in our prayers. At some future date their Ramat Kal, Yeshua the Messiah, is going to come riding in to their rescue and salvation! Yeshua came the first time as the suffering servant--but at His second coming he will be coming to fiercely judge all those who have refused to honor His Royal Law and divide His land among themselves.

 

"For behold, in those days and at that time, When I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations And bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land. "They have also cast lots for My people, Traded a boy for a harlot And sold a girl for wine that they may drink. Joel 3.1-3

 

 

On Open Letter to Evangelicals Regarding Trump

When I heard that major evangelical leaders claim that Donald Trump has accepted the Lord, I had to write. [Evangelicals Claim Trump Conversion] Please, stop trying to convince us that Donald Trump is a real, born again, Christian.


Vote for Trump, if you must, but why do you need to insist that Trump has given his life to Jesus, has had a conversion experience and is now an evangelical Christian? When you claim that Trump is a committed Christian, you undermine the very gospel we are trying to share with the Jewish people. Your gospel news, that Donald Trump is now a real Christian, is not the gospel we want for Israel, it is not any gospel at all.


Have we not together, Jew and Gentile, all these years been trying to show our people the true face of Jesus? That Jesus calls us out to be loving, compassionate people? Does not Jesus teach us to love others more than ourselves, and show us how to live a self-sacrificing, honest life, with humility? (Trump continues to boast about, and display, his opulent life-style) Is it not our Jesus that teaches humility, and the need to forgive and be forgiven? (Trump?) Do we not need to display, for Christ’s sake, a moral and modest lifestyle, rejecting sexual promiscuity and the exploitation of feminine beauty? (The other elephant in the Republican nominee’s life) Or that born-again followers of Israel’s Messiah are willing to do everything to live out strong, marital commitments, no matter how difficult? (Trump X3)


Go ahead and tell us that you think Trump understands what’s going on in the Middle East, and will be a faithful, consistent supporter of the Jewish people, supporting our right to live in our God promised land. Show us how he will continue the long, historical and unshakeable commitment of the USA to stand with Israel.


Remind us, if you must, that Trump won the evangelical vote in the primaries, or that a recent Pew Research poll shows that 78% of white evangelical voters nationwide support Trump, and that, before he chose the born-again Pence as his vice president. Explain how Trump will fight for religious freedoms and the right to preach the gospel in Israel, in the US, and around the world. Support him if you believe he is right for the US, for Israel, whatever.


But please, stop selling the holiness and purity of our Lord Jesus for cheap religious politics by telling us that Trump is now a follower of our Messiah, because he let you pray for him. You undermine the meaning of the word Christian, and put yet another stumbling block in the path of our people coming to know their Messiah, Yeshua, son of the living God.


For many years you have been showing strong support to Israel, and I hear from many of my Jewish friends, and government leaders in Israel, that they appreciate evangelicals, and embrace you as true friends of Israel. Be a real friend, show them the real Jesus.

In the last days, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.  2 Tim. 3:2-5

HABAKKUK HELPS US UNDERSTAND HOW GOD WORKS THROUGH THE NATIONS

O Lord, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? Even cry out to You, “Violence!” And You will not save. Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me;There is strife, and contention arises.  Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore perverse judgment proceeds. Habakkuk 1.1-4

Habakkuk was a prophet to the southern kingdom of Judah prior to their being taken captive to Babylon in 586 B.C. The nation was wallowing in sin, immorality, and political upheaval during his time. He saw the condition of the nation and it made him weep.

The condition of Judah at his time was no different than the things we are experiencing in America during our time. The nation was into self-pleasure and aggrandizement. The political scene was lacked justice and was powerless to uphold the law. Several kings were assassinated during this period of upheaval and “perverse judgment” was the norm.

We see this chaotic activity surrounding President Trump daily. Much of it stems from his personal behavior and past immorality, but it is much deeper and more serious then that alone. We are seeing an attack on the US Constitution and rule of law—an overt coup. Mr. Trump’s enemies are determined to overthrow him at any cost.

At his inauguration speech Mr. Trump put the “swamp” on notice that he was going to come after them. These people, some call it the deep state, did not take his threats lightly. Their hatred is so deep they will do anything to bring him down.

Habakkuk lived through the same violence and hatred in his day. There was no respect for the king or the office of king. This is a serious issue. As the office of President, in our day, is demeaned and disrespected, the status and power of the POSITION itself is being drastically lowered. Future Presidents will suffer from these attacks as lawlessness increases. Vengeance will be on most politicians minds.

Already we see a Congress that is divided and lawless. They don’t even do their jobs. The spend up to two or three hours a day on the phone raising money for their party—in order to get re-elected. God responds to this as He always has throughout all of human history:

“Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.  For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans, a bitter and hasty nation which marches through the breadth of the earth, to possess dwelling places that are not theirs.  They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves. Habakkuk 1.5-7

When a nation that was formally God fearing and righteous turns away the Almighty ALLOWS stronger nations to come against them. This is what is happening to America through Russia and China. God is allowing them to slowly overcome us as His chastisement upon our nation.

Their cavalry comes from afar; they fly as the eagle that hastens to eat. “They all come for violence; their faces are set like the east wind. They gather captives like sand. They scoff at kings, and princes are scorned by them.
They deride every stronghold…He commits offense, imputing this power to his god.” Habakkuk 1.8-11

Today, the world scoffs at such an idea as this—but God does not change—this is how He has worked with His sheep nations throughout history. This is how He is trying to get our attention today. He is allowing these nations to arise because our sins are grievous in His eyes. He has watched us go our own way. Shortly He will correct us.

God is not some sniveling petty Creator. He allows us to choose our way. His law is spiritual and active throughout every generation (Romans 7.14) He has given us His word/law to abide in. If we choose to ignore the law, eventually this “spiritual law” will righteously judge our behavior.

This works in us as individuals or on a national scale. Judah was judged through the Babylonians because they refused to repent and turn back to Yahweh. Their society was in the same place we are.

If you are a reader of the blog you are aware of the various measures Russia and China are taking to displace the U$ Dollar system. You are seeing the tension between our nations. Our competitors, however, would like to see our system collapse rather than have war. We must pray we do not get in a shooting war with Russia or China—both sides will pay a heavy price if we do.

There are many in our government who would like to see us in war. This could work to their advantage and give them reason to curtail many of our hard won freedoms. War is a distraction that diverts the attention of the populace. We might not like the outcome if God is chastising our nation for sins. Beware!

As the attack on the U$ Dollar continues tensions are going to rise. America is going to be chastised. The rub is this: God also will judge the nation(s) He uses to judge us based upon how they treat us as their “captives!”

O Lord, You have appointed them for judgment; O Rock, You have marked them for correction. You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on wickedness.
Why do You look on those who deal treacherously, and hold Your tongue when the wicked devours
A person more righteous than he? Habakkuk 1.12b-13

None of us are totally exempt from the Godly chastisement that is coming. We have all contributed to our national sins in some manner. Have you heard much warning from the pulpits of your local church? Not many Pastors speak on this issue. Our shepherds are looking the other way.

They think the church is going to be raptured out before all the tribulations begin. What is so special about the church? Are we above those in more than 50 nations today who suffer terrible persecution? Wake up Brother Christian! The “saints” will also be tried and refined during the tribulations to come.

Habakkuk, give us the good news in all of this in one of my favorite Biblical poems:

Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills.      Habakkuk 3.17-19

This should be comforting to all. God will see us through the most difficult times if we trust in him. Many of the Old Testament prophets lived through the dark days to which they prophesied—they were not “raptured out” but they too were tried as by fire. They should be an inspiration to us all…and so Peter advised us:

…That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ…1 Peter 1.7

If our hearts are true we will get through the most difficult days and reap great reward in the Millennial Kingdom to come.

 

 

 

 

 

FALSE PROPHET PREDICTS RAPTURE AND END OF THE WORLD FOR APRIL 23

David Meade, a "self-proclaimed" Christian numerologist who predicted the rapture would take place and the world would end in September of last year, is at it again!

If you remember, Meade predicted the sun and the moon would come into a unique alignment with the constellation Virgo, which he said symbolized the woman in Revelation 12, and the constellation Leo he said symbolized the "Lion of the Tribe of Judah." 

He connected that cosmic configuration with a sign in the Giza Pyramid (whatever that was) to falsely prophesy that the rapture would take place and the world would end on September 23, 2017, when the mystical Planet X (Nibiru) collided with earth.   http://www.foxnews.com/science/2017/09/15/biblical-prophecy-claims-world-will-end-on-sept-23-conspiracy-theorists-claim.html

The "great sin" woman in Revelation 12 has nothing to do with the constellations Virgo and Leo and everything to do with Israel. When a person (no matter who it is) prophesies that the rapture is going to happen, or Jesus is going to return, or the world is going to end on a specific day of a specific year, you can safely prophesy that "IT WILL NOT HAPPEN ON THAT DATE.   

Even though events (or lack of events) in 2017 proved Meade wrong, he has used the same false assumptions regarding the alignment of the constellations Virgo and Leo to falsely prophesy that the rapture will take place and the world will end 8 days from now on April 23, 2018 (something about the 23rd of the months with this guy). Since we understand that there is no pre-tribulation rapture, we can safely prophesy, "THUS SAYS THE LORD, 'THE RAPTURE AND THE END OF THE WORLD WILL NOT HAPPEN ON APRIL 23, 2018.'"  So don't quit your job, sell your house, put all your money in Gold, find a cave in the mountains and move in, because "the end is not yet" (Matt. 24:6).   

Many events must still occur in Israel and Middle East before the Lord returns including war and the division of Jerusalem (Zechariah 14.1-4).

I can't say it any better...this article says it all.

An embarrassing spectacle is unfolding within the American government. All the scandals, investigations, accusations and infighting happening right now can be bewildering to try to keep up with.



However, you cannot afford to just tune it out! You need to recognize the real scope of the history unfolding before your eyes. You must understand what it means for the future of this nation and the future of the world.


If you follow mainstream news, you are getting a very distorted view. Some less-used sources provide good information and help you to see a picture closer to reality. But the Trumpet offers a perspective you will get nowhere else. Only we show why this is happening and where it is leading.

What we are witnessing now is nothing less than a war, waged by people who, wittingly or unwittingly, are working to bring America down from within.


For the duration of the 15-month-old Trump presidency (and even before, when it became clear he would win the Republican nomination), the media have found and broadcast every bit of unflattering, embarrassing, salacious information they could find about this man. Sadly, of this there is no small amount. America has never had a president whose past sins were so public, or who provided so much ammunition to his enemies by using an unfiltered populist megaphone like social media.


However, the president’s enemies in the media and within the government are not limiting themselves to publicizing negative things that are known and provable. They are also fixating on what is implied, alleged or possible—or even proved false.

Donald Trump has been in the public eye his entire life. He was born to rich parents. He has real estate and properties all over the map. He led a popular reality show on a major television network for 14 years. He has befriended many media stars and politicians, including prominent Democrats like Hillary Clinton. But then he ran for president.


Virtually overnight, he was declared to be a joke, a buffoon, a clown. And once he started to win, and especially when he won the Republican nomination, the attacks against him turned far more malicious.


Since he won the presidency, Trump’s enemies in the media and in the government have done everything possible to depict this man as deranged, stupid, unstable, incoherent, senile, corrupt, immoral, chauvinist, misogynist, bigoted, racist, jingoistic, nationalist, white supremacist. Just two years ago, nobody accused him of any of these things. Now he is supposedly such a threat to global stability that any and all means to discredit and overthrow him are considered acceptable, even noble and patriotic.


These relentless condemnations and attacks reveal something far more serious and threatening than the specifics of the accusations against the president.


They reveal that there is a segment of America willing to do virtually anything to undo the results of the last presidential election—and to reclaim power.


In the 2016 election, Donald Trump won 57 percent of the electoral vote and 30 out of 50 states. He won 84 percent of America’s counties. He received nearly 63 million votes, the highest vote total of any Republican candidate in history.


However, there is a strong contingent within the government, the media, and the American populace that does not and will not accept this.


The election of Donald J. Trump to the presidency represented a blow to their claim to power and their ambitions to remake this country as they see fit.


The result is a rancorous war between the White House and the deep state. The “deep state” is a term used for permanent federal government agencies in the executive branch that are filled with unelected individuals. The Constitution of the United States names only one individual in the executive branch: the president. The thousands of other agents and bureaucrats in the executive branch are supposed to be assisting him. Instead, they have not only developed a life of their own, but many of them are trying to destroy the president!


This is a type of internal conflict that America’s founders did not foresee when they established the checks and balances of Washington’s three governing branches. It imperils the very survival of the constitutional republic they built.


We are getting a remarkable look at what this contingent of Americans wants to do—and just what it is willing to do to make it happen. We are seeing how deep their power within the government really goes. We are seeing how deceitful and lawless and nasty they really are. We are seeing the results of their hostility to the Constitution and the limits to their power it imposes—and their disdain for the freedoms the Constitution gives the American people.


We are seeing the true nature of this movement and the mortal threat it truly is to the foundational principles of America.


The lid is being lifted on this movement in a way it never would have had Hillary Clinton been elected. Miraculously, the Trump presidency is temporarily holding it back and, in the process, exposing it for anyone willing to see.


What we are seeing, in fact, is just how close this nation is to collapse!
Astoundingly, many people within this country would love to see this happen and are working to bring it about. Many of them are in the federal government. This is why we at the Trumpet feel compelled to focus on these developments.


America’s downfall is one of the most earthshaking end-time prophecies of the Bible. It is foretold in dozens of biblical passages. We have been warning about it for decades, since Herbert W. Armstrong wrote the first version of The United States and Britain in Prophecy back in the 1930s.
The drama unfolding in Washington is directly leading to the fulfillment of this prophecy of America’s downfall!

AMERICA STAGGERING LIKE A DRUNKARD TOWARD JUDGEMENT

My heart within me is broken Because of the prophets; all my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, And like a man whom wine has overcome, Because of the Lord, and because of His holy words.

Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 23.9-11

This is not an article I want to write. It is probably an article you don’t want to read—but it is true. Our nation is staggering like a drunkard, grouping in confusion, stumbling down a dark path.

The Lord has mixed within her a spirit of confusion. [The leaders] have made Egypt stagger in all she does, as a drunkard staggers in his vomit. Isaiah 19.14

Confusion: We are confused in all areas of society. We cannot distinguish between a man and a woman. We have no respect for unborn innocents. We have no respect for the law. Lawlessness reigns in Washington D.C. and it is impossible to know what is true and that which is false—total confusion.

God has allowed us to be confused because we refuse to mediate on and keep His laws. God is not some sniveling old man waiting to judge us. He would rather we turn to Him as a nation. He has established what is right and what is wrong in His word. When we choose to go our own way and ignore His word we pay the penalty. (ref: Deut 28).

People love to blame God for all their problems. We are the ones who have asked Him to leave our schools, government, and society in general. God allows us to do what we want to do in the hope that we will come to our senses and turn to Him for guidance. We, as a society are so confused.

Sadly, America must be judged. We have fallen too far. I truly believe the fall elections of 2018 will determine the future course of the nation. The Millennial generation will be voting in force and this will most likely result in a turn to the left.

The Bible is a conservative book. It sets a standard of righteousness and justice which the world refuses to obey. This has nothing to do with politics or President Trump. We have already concluded that President Trump is not what you would call a “righteous man” but he does embody old school thinking on many issues.

Without the moral compass of the Word of God our nation will continue to stagger. The policies of the left often appear good, but they are against many Biblical principles. Abortion and LGBT are two that immediately come to mind. The things which were once considered “good” in America are now considered “evil” or hateful if you don’t agree. Soon you will not be able to peacefully disagree with the policies which are coming.

Financial shaking: Both political parties spend money like drunken sailors. Our national debt is beyond repair. The system must collapse. It is only a matter of when it will collapse. America’s God is money and credit and the piper will be paid. I’ve posted plenty of articles on this blog describing why our economy will collapse at some point.

War: The war drums are beating. Our leaders have become obsessed with thwarting Russia and China in all that they do. This is because our leaders know that China and Russia have all the gold. These two giants are rising in power and the only thing our politicians know to do is start a war with them.

Russia, China, and their allies are the hammer of God’s judgment on America. If we continue down this road of hubris towards them they will overcome us. God judges nations by allowing stronger nations to overcome them. When the nation becomes ungodly as we have become the hammer will fall. Our pride is going to be broken. America is no longer a righteous nation.

The Kingdom of God: We love America and what she once stood for. We weep for her. We find ourselves angry at her condition—but we all have contributed to this coming downfall.

We now understand that we are citizens of God’s kingdom. His kingdom does not function like the kingdoms of this world. Are we functioning as God’s kingdom? Sometimes it is difficult to tell. It is imperative that we begin functioning as God’s people.

We will be tried as things continue to fall apart all around us. We will need to stand upon the “Rock of God’s word” in the difficult days ahead. If you are wondering why your situation is difficult right now maybe God is trying to get your attention.

We all need to spend less time on Facebook and more time in God’s book. Wait on the Lord. Be still. Read His word and let it sink in. We are going to be tried in the fire. Judgment begins at the house of God. This judgment is for our benefit, so get prepared now, while things are stable. The shaking is intensifying.

It is also important to KNOW what you believe. Many believers do not really know what the scriptures say. They do not really know what they believe. This blog is a way to begin. It will stimulate your thinking. Allow the entire Bible, O.T and N.T. to interpret itself. Determine for yourself the difference between “tradition” and TRUTH. Ask the Father to teach you and confirm, confirm, confirm. Then be bold and speak up!

COULD PRESIDENT TRUMP’S PRESIDENCY BE AMERICA’S LAST GASP?

In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash, king of Judah, Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, became king in Samaria, and reigned forty-one years.  And he did evil in the sight of the Lord; he did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin…For the Lord saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter; and whether bond or free, there was no helper for Israel.  And the Lord did not say that He would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven; but He saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash. 2 Kings 14.23-24; 27

 

When I first began to study the Bible in earnest I felt in my spirit that I was supposed to study the Old Testament and understand the history of the Israelites. I went out and purchased a Jewish study Bible with commentary and started digging in.

Not only did I get a great history lesson, but I also began to understand the Jewish understanding of the Old Testament. I began to see how much of our “Christian” beliefs have their root in the belief and understanding of the ancient Jewish sages.

It is amazing how Y’shua is right before their eyes, yet they do not see Him. So many of their insights into the word reveal Y’shua, but as scripture says, they are temporarily blinded. These insights, helped me begin to see the New Testament in a fresh light. I began to understand Y’shua’s parables in a Hebraic way, rather than a 21^st century western way.

The more I studied, and found teachers who understood this, the more I began to allow the Bible to interpret itself. It takes time for this to happen. We all think we are allowing the Bible to interpret itself but we really are not. It takes time and will challenge many things we have previously been taught. It requires us to let go of many “traditions of men” which we don’t want to let go of.

A teacher that I came to know was Jonathan Cahn. The insights he received from the Lord had a profound effect on me. He was seeing current events from an Old Testament knowledge. He was interpreting what was happening to America using the Torah, the prophets, and the Books of Kings and Chronicles.

This was a confirmation for me about seriously studying the Old Testament. Here was a man who grew up Jewish, accepted Y’shua as savior, studied in both Jewish and Christian schools, and now was able to interpret current events in stunning fashion.

The Biblical prophets of old had a complete understanding of the political situation of both the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the Southern Kingdom of Judah. Many of them even had connections to the King and other important officials. They knew the Torah and spoke truth to a lawless nation.

These prophets risked their lives to speak to the sin of the nation and warn the people and leaders to turn back to Yahweh before disaster would come upon them. The “disaster” that would come upon them was in the form of attacks by pagan nations and financial ruin.

Many of the kings the prophets spoke to were not righteous individuals. All of the kings of Israel, the Northern Kingdom, were idolaters and refused to hear what the prophets were saying. Eventually the fierce nation of Assyria would come against them and destroy them. The result was captivity and dispersion among the Gentile nations—never to return. Eventually they lost their identity. Ref: the Book of Hosea.

The Southern Kingdom lasted another 150 years until they were taken captivity by the Babylonians. They were later allowed to return after 70 years to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. These people are the Jewish people of our time. They did not lose their identity among the Gentile nations.

Today America is under attack. The forces that would destroy the Constitution are strong. America is turning to the left. President Trump is similar to King Jeroboam II in 2 Kings 14. God had mercy on the nation through Jeroboam II even though he was not a righteous man.

Trump is doing commonsense things to protect America from forces that would destroy our freedoms. Powerful force are at work within the government to bring him down. Our entire system has become too corrupt to fix. We are similar to ancient Rome as it began to decay from a Republic to tyranny. It is happening before our eyes.

I truly believe President Trump may represent a “last chance” for America. How will the nation vote in 2018? Will power return to the left? The left wants no borders and hordes of illegal immigrants—these people will vote for them. The left wants to destroy the 2^nd Amendment. Our founders allowed us to have weapons in order to stop a tyrant from taking over the nation.

Our politicians refuse to discuss these issues in a civil intelligent forum and write commonsense laws.

TRADE WARS, FINANCIAL CHAOS, AND THE US DOLLAR

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children. Hosea 4.6

In 2009 the Lord, in His unusual ways, led me into studying the US and world financial systems. Up until that time I was like most Americans—paying little attention to the world of finance and trade. I was interested in understanding the end times from a Biblical perspective, not realizing financial events would play a key role.   

The verse above from Hosea 4.6 says the cause of our problems is for lack of knowledge. This does not stem from a shortage of information, but rather from the rejection of information. Many people that I talk to seem to have no interest or desire to understand the financial events now taking place in the world.

Today we are on the cusp of a trade war with China that could affect the entire world. It is important to understand that both the US and China are now in the act of informing each other which products will have tariffs applied. Neither country has yet imposed these tariffs (taxes) on trade goods. Until the tariffs are actually imposed what we are really seeing is the beginning of “negotiations” on trade.

The stock market is really based on emotions. The emotional response to what is happening is for the stock market to go down hundreds of points—this is a knee jerk reaction at this point. All markets react emotionally and if that emotion gets out of control we will have a crash.

Historically trade wars are not good for either country. In fact, the Great Depression was not ended quickly because the US and other countries began applying tariffs on goods—resulting in a trade war that re-crashed the markets after 1929 and extended the depression until World War 2 began.

Ah, yes, war. When things go bad economically governments turn to war. This gets the people’s attention off the economic fears and causes them to focus on war…and war is great for the economy. Always be alert for war during these crises. Problem now is our major “enemies” are much stronger and better prepared.

For now we will see wild swings in the stock markets and lots of emotion and fear. During these trade wars the precious metals markets in gold and silver will prosper as they are considered safe havens in time of trouble. Gold has been rising since 2009 when it was around $900 per ounce and now is around $1350 per ounce. We will see a tremendous rise in gold prices as we continue spending ourselves into oblivion.

The US government is running a $22 Trillion dollar debt. If you count a dollar a second it will take 33 thousand years to count a trillion! You think a crisis might be coming?

Many in the church glibly say, “Oh, the Lord will provide for me,” as they continue to spend and ignore the problem and Proverbs 22.7. Few take the story of Joseph in Egypt seriously. He saw what was coming and the Lord used him to prepare for the coming crises. How many of us are remotely preparing?

The Lord will provide, but not in the style you may like. Will you be a burden on your brethren or a help? This is something to consider. The unprepared make themselves a burden on others.

CHINA AND RUSSIA CONTINUE TO PREPARE - As a reader of this blog you know we have been following the financial rise of China and Russia. These two nations will play major roles as we move towards the second coming of Y’shua.


The first thing to understand about China is that they have a plan. The have 5, 10, 20, 100 year plans. They are focused on becoming a great power. In the US political system there is no plan. Politicians are only interested in getting re-elected every 2, 4, or 6 years. That is their only plan--besides enriching themselves. Here are some of the steps they are well into taking in preparation for the fall of the US dollar system:

This is a very big deal. Purchasing oil in their own currency allows them to circumvent using US dollars. This will require the US Federal Reserve to print billions of dollars out of nothing. This will cause real inflation as additional nations will no longer use US dollars in trade.

China is also using an interbank payment system (Cips) that completely avoids using US interbank system (SWIFT) allowing them to clear cross border banking payments. This is an important development that will continue to apply pressure on the US economic system and dollar. This is a direct attack on the US dollar as world reserve currency. Russia has also developed their own system that is similar to Cips.

Do not take these things lightly. China and Russia have been slave to the US system since the end of World War 2. We are entering a “new world order” in which power and wealth is being transferred from the west to the east. In large part this is happening because we have brought it upon ourselves.

When Nixon went to China in 1971 this opened the door to China becoming a world power. In that same year Nixon took the US off the gold standard, making a deal with Saudi Arabia to only sell oil in US dollars—the Petro-dollar as it became known.

As America began off-shoring its manufacturing base to China and other countries we also began to turn away from God. We began turning to the false religions of the world and using drugs to ascend to a higher consciousness. The world became smaller through transportation and technology and we embraced many philosophies and lifestyles that turned us away from the laws of God.

It has been a slow but relentless turning away for around 70 years. Human events take time to play out—Rome did not fall in a day. Isn’t it interesting that this year on May 14^th is the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel? This is not a coincidence.

The Biblical prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the others understood the political and financial issues of the day. They prophesied to warn the nation to turn back towards God. Their words fell on deaf ears. Our nation, as a whole, has deaf ears.

This is the hour to seek the Lord with all of our hearts. If we are prepared we will fulfill Jesus’ words for us to become the “salt of the earth.” It is our responsibility as believers and disciples of Y’shua to seek out Yahweh’s direction for us.

Most of us will still be here when the financial crises comes upon our nation. Now, in this brief time of grace, is the time to prepare. Ask what He desires of you now. This is the time of preparation. Joseph had 7 years to prepare—and he was ready because he heard the Lord. When a crisis erupts it will occur quickly--no one will expect it--it will come as a thief in the night!

In, fact, Joseph created a "new world order" that would be ruled by Pharaoh for many centuries. All of Egypt became subservient to Pharaoh because of Joseph’s actions! Ironic isn’t it? The Lord God of Israel works in strange and wonderful ways. You don’t want to miss out—prepare!
