EXAMINING MR. TRUMP’S SAUDI ARABIAN VISIT

As we continue to follow President Trump’s overseas trip I want to be certain you understand that I am trying to be nonpolitical in interpreting the trip. I am attempting to interpret this trip from a Biblical World View not as a supporter of any political party or dogma.

We have established the fact that Mr. Trump is attempting to put a deal together that will bring peace to the Middle East and Jerusalem. His itinerary includes Islam, Judaism, and Christianity (Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the Vatican). In his mind he is thinking BIG. His desire is to accomplish something that hasn’t been done—peace in the Middle East between the Jews and Arabs.

Yesterday we saw the Saudi King speak about tolerance toward all people, against terrorism, and he spoke out strongly against Iran. He was attempting to establish Saudi Arabia as the lead nation in Sunni Islam. He targeted Saudi’s chief enemy Iran as the cause of all the world’s extreme terrorists.

When we look at the number of nations that attended this conference it appears the Saudi’s are attempting to isolate Iran on the world stage. At this time Iran is the biggest threat to peace in the region. President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran has given them an edge in the area and they have been flexing their muscle that last few years. The idea is to marginalize them and form a strong coalition to frustrate Iran’s ambitions.

This coalition would also be attempting to frustrate Russian ambitions in the Middle East. Once again, Mr. Obama’s policies opened the door for Russia to become involved in the Syrian civil war and the Middle East is a more powerful way. Russia has supported Iran and together they are looking to control the Levant which includes the nation of Israel. All of this contributes to Biblical End Time Prophecy.

President Trump spoke strongly to the Arab world in his speech. He denounce terrorism in very strong word’s and gave Saudi Arabia props for trying to stop Islamic extremism. We know the Saudi’s have funded Wahhabism and their version of terror for years. It may be the Saudi’s realize that the extremist terrorist want to bring them down. They may be moderating their stance on terrorism to preserve themselves. Whatever reasons they have we need to watch and see how serious they are in stopping radical terrorism.

Mr. Trump basically challenged the Islamic world to go after the terrorists and seek a lasting peace with the Jewish state. The message was well received but there are always hidden agenda’s among the hearers. It will be interesting to see how serious these countries will attempt to stamp out terrorist cells.

As the protector of Islam’s most holy sites, Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia has the most to gain from this conference. They are making a bid to become the leading Islamic nation. Iran and Turkey are the other two nations with the same ambition. Right now Saudi has the edge.

Mr. Trump now moves on to Israel. Let’s see what comes out of these meetings.

The Bible is clear that the end time apostasy is centered by deception and false religion. The Book of Revelation uses the word deception six times—the whole world is deceived it says. Deception is based on truth. The truth is then subtly twisted so that even the elect are capable of buying into the deception.

This trip by President Trump is momentous from a Biblical World View as it is attempting to build on past efforts by all the parties involved to resolve the issue of Middle East Peace. The Vatican has been pursuing Ecumentalism for decades. They have been reaching out to all faiths to come back under their umbrella. The Pope has also reached out to the Arab world in efforts to bring peace to the Middle East.

Since the Crusades of the 11th Century the Vatican has desired to control the Holy Land. Watch how they pursue this initiative for peace closely. It is going to take time but the foundation for Yeshua’s second coming is being laid as we watch these events play out.
