HABAKKUK SPEAKS TO CURRENT EVENTS

O Lord, how long shall I cry, and You will not hear? Even cry out to You, “Violence!” and You will not save. Why do You show me iniquity, and cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; there is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous
therefore perverse judgment proceeds.

The prophet Habakkuk was having a serious conversation with Yahweh. He saw how the nation had become lawless—disregarding their Constitution—the Torah! He was having a difficult time understanding how the wicked should seemingly be allowed to prosper. Does this not sound like our present dangerous situation?

Our Constitution in these United States is under attack by the corrupt representatives of the people. Many of them have been compromised and bought off. Silent infiltration of our government by foreign entities who hate our Constitution and freedoms has been going on for decades. They are the silent enemies of we the people.

The truth is slowly dripping out and these enemies will be exposed. The people of the United States, and the world, are waking up to the truth. The power elites have no regard for the people—they have their own sinister objectives. They have used the Plan-Demic to further thier agenda but they are going to lose.

They have lied to us about everything—and have been lying for decades. The mainstream media, the corporations, sports leagues, and our corrupt politicians have been working together. They are the true fascists. Their agenda is to rule by force in their socialist utopia. They wish to rule by mandate. They despise the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Habakkuk saw the same spirit at work 2,500 years ago. He cried out to his Elohim for justice. He was severely grieved by the situation in Judah at that time. The answer he received was not the answer he expected:

“Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans, a bitter and hasty nation which marches through the breadth of the earth, to possess dwelling places that are not theirs.

They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves. Their horses also are swifter than leopards, more fierce than evening wolves. Their horses charge ahead; their cavalry comes from afar; they fly as the eagle that hastens to eat. They all come for violence; their faces are set like the east wind. They gather captives like sand.”

The Chaldeans were the Babylonians who were conquering the nations surrounding Judah. They would soon destroy the temple and Jerusalem. Yahweh was going to use them to chastise the Judah and Jerusalem for their disobedience and distain for God’s law, the Torah, the Constitution of God’s people.

Habakkuk was shocked. He couldn’t believe God would allow the pagan Babylonians to destroy the holy city of Jerusalem, the temple, and His chosen people:

“Are You not from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, You have appointed them for judgment; O Rock, You have marked them for correction. You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on wickedness. Why do You look on those who deal treacherously, and hold Your tongue when the wicked devours a person more righteous than he?”

Habakkuk asked God how He would allow a pagan nation to chastise a nation more righteous than they were. He couldn’t understand how God could allow treacherous Babylon to prevail over Judah. He decided to wait for Yahweh to answer this question:

“I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.”

God replies: “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.”

Habakkuk is told that the proud are not upright, but the just people, who fear the Lord, will live by their faith even as the punishment on the nation must come. A father chastises his disobedient children and so must Yahweh chastise His nation for turning away from the law. God continues to explain:

“Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the people shall plunder you, Because of men’s blood
and the violence of the land and the city, And of all who dwell in it. “Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house
that he may set his nest on high, to be delivered from the power of disaster!
You give shameful counsel to your house, cutting off many peoples, and sin against your soul…“Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed, who establishes a city by iniquity!  Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the peoples labor to feed the fire, and nations weary themselves in vain?

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

This is an answer with dual meaning. God is telling Habakkuk that the Babylonians will also be punished after they punish Judah. The description above is not only describing the Babylonians but also the sins which God’s people have been practicing. Habakkuk is told that God will exact righteous judgment on Babylon also.

America has been under judgment for some time now. Our nation has turned away from the laws of God and have made up their own. A simple example is that a man is a man and a woman is a woman. That is God’s law. There are only two genders. No need for me to elaborate! God’s laws are written in stone tablets. They are forever.

God is going to expose those who hate Him and our country. This year is going to see God’s justice in action. The truth is going to come out in a flood. Up until now it has been dripping out but a flood is coming. We are being given the opportunity to reform and repent—to take back our country and establish truth and justice. We’ve had enough lies.

The wrongs that have been committed in the 2020 election are going to be heard and action will be taken. The corruption in the Biden family will be exposed and action taken. The crimes against humanity—human trafficking and pedophilia will be exposed and action taken. The mainstream media is going to be exposed for their lies and propaganda. It’s going to shock the nation. Those whom have sold themselves to China will also be brought to justice.

Change is coming. It’s going to be a year of great upheaval and chaos as the enemies of our country will fight to the end. Be prepared--God is going to bring judgment on the traitors and evil politicians in His time and way. We will see it unfold this summer. The swamp creatures are in disarray—they know they are in trouble.

Listen to Habakkuk as he digested the knowledge that God was going to judge His people and their enemies. Expect God to act this year in power:

“O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy. God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah.

His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, and there His power was hidden. Before Him went pestilence, and fever followed at His feet. He stood and measured the earth; He looked and startled the nations.”

This is beautiful Bible poetry describing what is about to occur in our nation. This is our opportunity to repent and make things right. If we miss this opportunity to drain the swamp we will fall and be crushed. Hear the word of the Lord!

Habakkuk ends with this incredible statement of how the just—all of God’s true people, should live by their faith:

Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills.
