WHEN WAS JESUS REALLY BORN?  THE BIBLE HAS THE TRUE ANSWER

 

If you read this blog you know we try to allow the Bible to interpret itself in all things. This means using the entire Bible to discover truth—both the Old and New Testaments. Jesus was not born at Christmas! In fact, he was born about 2 ½ months earlier during the Feast of Tabernacles.

 

Jesus physically fulfilled the Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread when he was crucified on Passover. He is also going to physically fulfill the Fall Feasts of the Biblical Calendar. This will be during the time of Jacob’s trouble also known as Armageddon in the Book of Revelation and His second coming.

 

It is impossible to understand the end times if you do not understand the Feasts of the Lord (Lev 23.1). The Book of Revelation and the judgments therein revolve around the fall feasts. Therefore it is important for you to understand the fall feasst if you want to understand the book of Revelation.

 

Below is a short outline of the time of Jesus’ and John the Baptist birth allowing the Bible to interpret itself. You can use the notes to follow the video presentation link provided at the bottom of this page. It is very important for us to put aside the traditions and teachings of men that we have grown up hearing in the church and begin to hear and obey God’s truth. Dig in.

 

 

 GOD HAS APPOINTED TIMES FOR EVERYTHING

 

A. Ecclesiastes 3:1 NAS There Is An “Appointed Time” For Every Event

1 “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.”

 

B. Lev. 23:1-2 Appointed Times/Feasts That Are “Holy Convocations”

1 “The LORD spoke again to Moses, saying, 2 ‘Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, “The Lord's appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations-- My appointed times are these…”

 

1. “Appointed Times” Hebrew word “Moed”

· “A fixed time”

· “Feast or assembly convened for a definite purpose”

· “A signal (sign) appointed before hand”

(Prophetic sign of a future event)

2. “Holy Convocation” Hebrew word “Miqra”

· “Rehearsal” (Prophetic practice for a future event)

 

C. Ecclesiastes 3:2 NAS Appointed Times of Birth And Of Death

2 “A time to give birth, and a time to die…”

 

1. Rom. 5:7-8 NAS Jesus died at an “appointed time”

7 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

4 “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law.”

· If Jesus died at the appointed time/Feast of Passover, He was probably born at an appointed time/Feast

 

                      APPOINTED TIMES ARE ACCORDING TO GOD’S CALENDARS

1. When we allow the Bible to interpret itself we understand that the Bible is happening according to God’s Biblical calendar, which is also the Jewish calendar still observed today.

We know from the Biblical calendar that Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) rose from the dead on the 17th of Aviv/Nisan

·  He was sacrificed on the 14th of Aviv (Passover Lamb) which is Passover.

·  Rose after being in the grave three full days and nights; 72 hours (17th of Aviv) as First Fruits from the dead ref: Matthew 12.40; Matt 16.3-4. If he says three days and nights he means 72 hours. He was not crucified on Good Friday as we have been taught.

 

                                      PRIESTLY DIVISIONS AND THEIR CYCLE OF SERVICE

Now we begin to see how the Bible interprets itself. King David established an order of priestly service for the Temple that was going to be built by his son Solomon. There were 24 divisions or courses of these priests. The served a full week according to the calendar on two occasions during the year (48 weeks). On the Pilgrimage Feasts all 24 divisions served together for the length of the feasts which account for the rest of the weeks in the year. All according to God’s Biblical Calendar.

2. 2 Chron. 23:8 - “Come in and go out on Sabbath”

                                                   APPOINTED TIMES OF CONCEPTION

Using the Biblical Calendar we will follow the scriptures according to John the Baptist’s birth.

 

A. Conception Of John the Baptist

1. Luke 1:5-24 Gabriel Visits Zacharias While Serving In The Temple

· Luke 1. 5, 8 Division/Course of Abijah (8th Division) matches with 1 Chron 24.1

Zacharias would have been serving during his first course of the year at this time which would have been sometime during May on our Roman calendar. It would have been about six weeks after Passover. Using the Biblical calendar we can figure the time of a pregnancy of nine months, that John the Baptist was conceived in the 4^th month of Tammuz.

Six months from that time would have been when Mary is notified by the angel of her conception. This would have been the month of Kislev, the ninth month of the Biblical calendar. Remember we are not on the Roman calendar but the Biblical calendar and feasts.

The month of Kislev is the time of the Feast of Dedication also known as Hanukkah or the Festival of Lights. Since Jesus is the Light of the World it would be appropriate that he was conceived at this time!

B. Conception of Messiah Jesus (Yeshua)

1. Luke 1:26-38 Gabriel visits Mary during the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy (Kislev – Nov / Dec) and

tells her she will conceive a child by the Holy Spirit; that He will be the Messiah and to name Him Jesus (Yeshua)

 

2. Elizabeth’s six month would be the month of Kislev (Nov/Dec)

· Some speculate that Jesus was probably conceived on the Hanukkah (25th of Kislev)

· John 10:22 Jesus is in the Temple during the “Feast of Dedication” (Hanukkah)

· Hanukkah is also called the “Festival of Lights”

· Jesus (Yeshua) is the “Light of the World” (John 8:12)

 

3. Luke 1.39-45 Mary visits Elizabeth at this time.

 

                                                         APPOINTED TIMES OF BIRTH

The most incredible part of this birth story is how Yahweh is doing everything at an appointed time according to His calendar and Feasts. This is why it is so import to understand the Feasts of the Lord. Everything that is happening makes perfect sense when we allow the Bible to interpret itself.

 

A. The Time of John’s Birth

1. Luke 1:56 Mary stays with Elizabeth about three months and then goes home at the end of Adar (12th month)

 

2. Luke 1.57 After this, Elizabeth gives birth to John

· Probably born on Passover (14-15 Aviv)

· Passover would be approx. 280-290 days from conception

 

3. Probably born during the Seder meal (Erev Passover) around the time of the “Cup of Elijah” when everyone invites the “spirit of Elijah” to come in.

 

B. Appointed Time of Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) Birth

1. Count six months forward to 15 Tishri

· Jesus (Yeshua) probably born on 15 Tishri (Feast of Sukkot)

· Between 280-290 days from His conception

· Sukkot is an 8 day celebration that ends on (Shemini Atzeretz)

· Jesus would have been circumcised on the 8th day, Shemini Atzeretz, which is the eight day of the Feast of Sukkot and signifies a “new beginning.”

 

                                    ADDITIONAL CONFIRMATION

 

A. Is. 7:14; Matt. 1:23 NAS Jesus (Yeshua) is Immanuel

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel [God withus]”

2. Hebrew word for dwell/dwelt is “succah”

· Coincides with “Sukkot” or Tabernacle

· Yahweh came as Yeshua (Jesus) to Tabernacle with us at the appointed time of Tabernacles

 

1. Luke 2:7  Wrapped Him In Swaddling Cloth, Laid Him In A Manger, Because There Was No Room At The Inn

7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

 

1. Swaddling cloth (strips of old cloth) were collected and sent to Jerusalem to be burned in the 4 large menorahs that were lit in the Temple at Tabernacles (Sukkot)
    
2. No room at the Inn because it was the Pilgrimage Feast of Tabernacles and all the rooms were taken
    
    

C. Luke 2:8-10 KJV Tabernacles is also called the “Season of Our Joy”

10 “And the angel said unto them [the shepherds], ‘Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.’”

FATIMA

While reading a book about church history I learned that Fatima was the name of Mohammad’s youngest daughter. This got me thinking about the shrine in Fatima, Portugal and visions of false angels. A brief summary of some things I learned.

The sons of the Prophet Mohammad were al-Qasim, Abdullah, Tahir/Tayib, and the daughters were Zaynab, Ruqayya, Umm Kulthoom and Fatima. She was born five years before her father was sent as a Prophet. Mohammed was 35 years old when she was born. She was born during the year when the Ka’bah was being rebuilt. She became a Muslim when she was 5 years old, as soon as her father was sent as a Prophet. She was the youngest Muslim in Islam.

Fatimah (Arabic: فَاطِمَة‎, Fāṭimah) is a female given name of Arabic origin, commonly used all over the Islamic world and actually its fame is related to Fatima as the Prophet's (Muhammad) daughter.

The colloquial Arabic pronunciation of the name in some dialects (e.g., Syrian and Egyptian) often omits the unstressed second syllable and renders it as Fatma when romanized.

Fatima is also used by non-Muslims: the town of Fátima in Portugal was named after a Moorish princess. Fatima - As a girls' name is pronounced FAH-tee-mah. It is of Arabic origin, and the meaning of Fatima is "baby's nurse". Also possibly "one who abstains". The name of the favorite daughter of the prophet Muhammad who was his only child to bear children. Hence she is sometimes referred to as "the mother of all Muslims". See also Aisha, Khadijah, and Mary. The name is sometimes used by Christians in honor of "Our Lady of Fatima" due to a vision of the Virgin Mary in 1917 by three Christian children in Portugal.

PORTUGAL - WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA?

The Message of Fatima consists of a number of precise predictions, requests, warnings and promises concerning the Faith and the world which were conveyed by the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children--Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco--in a series of apparitions at Fatima, Portugal from May to October 1917.

WHAT DID THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA PREDICT?

The Message of Fatima accurately predicted in 1917 all of the following events which came to pass:

(1) the end of World War I;

(2) the emergence of Russia as a world power which would "spread its errors (including Communism) throughout the world ... raising up wars and persecutions against the Church";

(3) the election of a Pope who would be named Pius XI;

(4) the waging of a second World War following a strange light in the night sky.

The Message of Fatima also predicted that if the requests of the Virgin Mary at Fatima are not honored, many souls will be lost, "the Holy Father will have much to suffer", there will be further wars and persecutions of the Church and "various nations will be annihilated." The annihilation of nations predicted at Fatima has not yet occurred, but many fear that it will soon happen, given the growing immorality and corruption of the world.

WHAT DOES THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA REQUEST?

At Fatima Our Lady said that God wished to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady said that many souls would be saved from Hell and the annihilation of nations averted if, in time, devotion to Her Immaculate Heart were established principally by these two means:

1) the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Pope together with the world's bishops in a solemn public ceremony, and

(2) the practice or receiving Holy Communion (and other specific devotions of about 1/2 hour in duration) in reparation for the sins committed against the Blessed Virgin Mary, on the first Saturdays of five consecutive months--a practice known to Catholics as "the First Saturday" devotion.

WHAT DOES THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA PROMISE?

The Message of Fatima promises that if the requests of Our Lady of Fatima are carried out "My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will Consecrate Russia to Me, which will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to mankind."

FALSE PROPHETS AND ANGELS

Jeremiah 7:1-4, 8-10 for false grace message. The same thing is manifesting today. They said, “We have the temple, we have the temple.” Meaning we have the blood sacrifice, we can just offer that and keep on sinning.

Beware of false prophets who speak true prophecies. Deut 13:1-4 This prophet will arise among us! His word or signs and wonders do come to pass but they will lead you into false doctrines that do not match up with the scriptures. They will mix in new age and pagan rites and customs. They will control and manipulate in a subtle way for their own means. God is testing you to see if you truly love Him and His way. Prove all things according to scripture.

Jesus said to beware of false prophets who will come in sheep’s clothing but inside are ravenous wolves. Matt 7:15

 

They will be among us and often rise from within us. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. This is the key identifier. What is in their hearts is what they will do--that is why we must allow God to write His word upon our hearts.

Idol = an image, as a statue or other material object worshiped as a deity. Any person or thing devotedly or excessively admired. His political idol was Kennedy. A mere image or semblance of something. A figment of the mind, fantasy. A false conception or notion, fallacy.

Idolatry = worship of idols, excessive or blind adoration, reverence, devotion. Webster’s Dictionary.

 

At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus." (Revelation 19.10).

All false angels, as the Fatima angel, love to receive worship. Note how Fatima wants Russia consecrated to her, how she wants the devotion of the world to the immaculate heart of Mary. BEWARE this is NOT the testimony of Jesus Christ—it is a false spirit!

The true prophet calls the assembly and fallen world back to the Father, preaches the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ, and warns the nation to turn back from their sins. Angels in true visions from the Father will never allow themselves to be the object of worship!

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—  which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.  But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!  As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! Galatians 1.6-9

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2.5

Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4.2

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light 2 Corinthians 11.14

SUMMARY

Mohammad had a daughter named Fatima. Fatima is the name of a city in Portugal where some young children had a vision of Mary in 1917. It is now a shrine to Marian worship.

The Moors ruled that area of Spain and the town named Fatima was named after a Moorish princess. The Muslim Fatima is often called “The Mother of all Muslims.”

Islam began when Mohammad had a vision of an angel who gave him a gospel different from what the apostles preached.

At Fatima the mother of Jesus is worshipped and adored. She was seen as an “angelic vision.”

In scripture Jesus mother acknowledges she is a sinner in need of salvation—she is not immaculate:

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Luke 1:46-47

The truth is very simple and obvious when we allow the Bible to interpret itself. Jesus told us that the truth would set us free!

 

GOD’S TIME AND CALENDAR VS THE ROMAN CALENDAR

 

This is the final posting on the importance of understanding God’s time and calendar

 

Here in a nutshell is what I am seeing about times and laws, beginning with Daniel 7.25—it crystalized in my mind and it is quite interesting.

 

If God’s time and calendar are the time of the entire Bible we have to ask what calendar are we observing? We are on the Gregorian calendar—most of the world—a “Roman” calendar. God’s time is evening/morning (Gen 1). That is sunset to sunset equals a 24 hour day. The “Roman” day begins at midnight—a six hour difference.

 

If there are only 4 kingdoms in Dan 2 and Dan 7 and we agree through history that Rome is the 4th Kingdom—what time and calendar are we currently observing? Roman-Gregorian!

 

If in 1 John 2.18-19 there is a “spirit of anti-Christ” in the world and prophecy is dual then Dan 7.25 is talking about the last times (as in 1 John 2)--in the context of the tribulation also.

 

If the Bible is written in God’s time and calendar—and the time, day, and calendar we observe is Roman—what times and laws are being changed by the spirit of Antichrist in the world (Dan 7.25)?

 

The times are God’s appointed times (“Moedim” in Hebrew)—the feasts (“Miqra” or “dress rehearsals) and the laws are (Torah). These have been, and are being changed---gay marriage, abortion, etc. are all in opposition to Biblical law. This includes Sunday replacing the Sabbath law.

 

If this is fact, then in Luke 21.24 the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled and Jerusalem being trodden down is being accomplished by the 4th kingdom! Gentiles represent “Rome” in our current time. The Roman Church has many laws that are not Biblical. Most of the world operates on the Roman calendar—the calendar of the 4^th Kingdom in Daniel.

 

The ramifications of all this are in the Book of Revelation. We are living in the time of the 4th kingdom and times and laws of that kingdom are observed by “Romanized” Gentiles. This Roman system of worship extends to the Protestant churches whom have also abandoned the times and seasons of the Lord--while diminishing the Torah. (The feasts of the Lord are listed in Leviticus 23).

 

Therefore the current church is, for argument sake, a pagan shadow of what it should be---as the Jews turned away from Christ--and Gentiles turned away from Hebraic foundations (Torah)—we arguably have the seeding for an apostate church rising.

 

But—Yahweh has and is still honoring the name of Yeshua through this church through healings and salvation, etc. In fact, for two thousand years the “Christian” church has ignored her Hebraic roots. That is now beginning to change as many Christians are digging deeper into the scriptures. God is restoring ancient truths as we approach the end of this current age. Restoring - there is nothing new--we are returning to our true roots. This is not new revelation, merely a restoration of truth.

 

Today we are seeing a return to the Hebraic foundations. God’s people are discovering the ancient ways—Hebraic roots—while the apostate church turns further and further towards human secularism. Syncretism is the word of our time—mixing in pagan rites with Yahweh’s Torah. This is an abomination to Yahweh. Ref: The Book of Zephaniah as an example.

 

A day is coming when we will be persecuted for our Hebraic beliefs—and the line in the sand between apostate and true will become clear. The “times of the Gentiles” will end and the Messiah will return and restore the Kingdom.

 

This is the end time message. As we grow in Hebraic foundations and understanding, the apostate church reaches out to all other religions to consolidate under the umbrella of this “Roman system.” Syncretism--mixing in pagan rites with Yahweh’s Torah is taking over the apostate church. This is an abomination to Yahweh. Ref: The Book of Zephaniah as an example and the Vatican’s drive to unite all religions under one umbrella.

 

It is all hidden in plain sight—Understanding “what time and calendar” the Bible is on and which time the world is on reveals many end time mysteries—such as Mystery Babylon.

 

Yeshua said he would return as a thief in the night. The apostle Paul said that we who understand the calendar should not be taken by surprise (1 Thess 5.1-5).

 

When Yahshua returns the restoration of all things as the Apostles questioned in Acts 1.6 will begin. The generation that goes through the tribulation will understand their situation and the season of His return because they understand the times, calendar, and feasts.

 

Coming events will be happening according to God’s time and calendar. No man knows the DAY, but we will understand the season and YHVH will guide His people according to His appointed times. There will be a measure of protection and peace for His followers during this stressful time because of their knowledge of His TIME.
