GREAT BRITAIN – STATE OF APOSTASY OR FORGOTTEN GODLY HERITAGE?

Since traveling to the U.K. and spending a week in the City of London my soul has been stirred by their great heritage with the God of Israel. If England is the Ephraim of the blessings/prophecy in Genesis 48.18-20 we will truly begin to see the blessing of God upon England and the United States:

Joseph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this one is the firstborn. Place your right hand on his head.” But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know; he also will become a people and he also will be great. However, his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.” He blessed them that day, saying,

“By you Israel will pronounce blessing, saying,
‘May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh!’”

Thus he put Ephraim before Manasseh.

You must understand that this nation of England, no matter the bad, the cruel, the mistakes of the past, was built upon the Word of God, the Holy Bible. This nation built itself upon that Rock of the Word—the living word—Jesus Christ.

It’s all over their hymns and songs. I never understood the words to many of these hymns when I heard them sung in pomp and circumstance. When I began to look up the words—oh, my! These are songs that recognize the Judeo-Christian ethic. What nation ever embodied this ethic than England?

Think of all the wars in Europe over RELIGION. Think of all the anti-semitism in Europe. Jews being expelled, Protestants and Catholic killing one another. Popes and Kings. This was all the way of MANKIND. Through it all the true word of God survived.

That past history is due to many reasons. Humans are so intent on doing things according to their desires. Don’t blame GOD for all these things…LOOK IN THE MIRROR, OH MAN!

But the true basic word of GOD prevailed throughout all this nasty history. God blessed his beloved people in spite of their human failings.

The British spread the Gospel to the nations throughout their empire. They authored the Magna Carta, they abolished slavery in the 1820’s, they had some of the greatest anointed preachers EVER! This is a short list:

Charles Spurgeon, John Welsey, William Booth, John Owen, Leonard Ravenhill

This island brought rule of law to many nations that had no rule. They established schools, hospitals, and churches where there were none. All this was done under the Umbrella of a strong Christian faith. Yes, they made many mistakes along the way—but the underlying ethic was the Word of God.

They fought great wars against evil and unrighteousness. They also were colonialist, yet they eventually bent and gave their colonies freedom. Many of those countries are much worse off now than before the British left.

Just look at the words to some of these anthems and hymns of Great Britain:

What nation ever sings about becoming Jerusalem? What nation has a coronation ceremony that sings about Zadok the Priest? As we read in the previous post the coronation is based upon the Old Testament and Hebrew traditions.

Everywhere you go in London there are monuments dedicated to heroic dead of the past and you most always see the name of God included in the epitaphs on these monuments. God is mentioned in street names! You can feel the awareness/presence of God in the past of this country everywhere you go. Much of it seems to have been forgotten.

The fact is most Britons don’t understand the Rock of their Foundation. They look at the coronation as a “Christian” ceremony. They do not realize that they are of the stock of Ephraim. They have forgotten much of their Christian/Hebrew roots. Many youth have embraced the religions and philosophies of the EAST.

We in the west have become ashamed of our Christian heritage and our Lord Jesus Christ—Yeshua ha Mashiach (Salvation the Messiah in Hebrew). We embraced foreign gods and philosophies, magic, witchcraft, wizards, and Harry Potter rather than teaching our kids about our Mighty God.

This does not mean God is not moving in Britain—but the majority of the general population has forgot their Biblical heritage as they embrace multiculturalism.

Briton and America have become wealthy and lazy. We don’t do real Bible studies—we just read it and talk about how we think it applies to us. WE don’t dig and allow it to interpret itself so we believe in things we were taught in church and Sunday school which are FALSE! Read this blog and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Churches are into entertainment and shallow psychological sermons. Intellectual solutions. Leftish politics.

All empires weaken and fall. Our hard won freedoms are being eroded by the laws of men---abortion, LGBT, and the like. We don’t believe in the Torah—God’s Eternal Law. WE make up laws that suit our desires and wants and wonder why God isn’t protecting us. We’ve kicked God out of just about everything and allowed in the satanic and idolatrous.

I don’t believe God is done with Britain or America. GREAT REVIVAL is coming. It is going to come as we weep in sorrow for our sins and for allowing our hard won liberties to be lost. There will be great tribulations and trouble but Yahweh is going to receive great glory during this time. No flesh will glory in His presence during the coming revival.

This is going to be a revival of deep repentance for sin. It will be a revival of weeping and sorrow but it will also be glorious what the Lord will do. It will be followed by the great tribulation. God is going to save as many as possible prior to the dark days of the tribulation. We are not going to raptured out, but those who go through it will be refined like gold and silver.

At the end there will be two great sheep nations of Manasseh and Ephraim—the United States and Great Britain along with our Jewish brothers currently being returned to their inherited land. We will be joining them in that Holy City and Land as joint heirs. The Kingdom of God is going to be established on earth for 1000 years of teaching God’s ways and then we will become the New Jerusalem
