An Explanation of the Tribulation and How to Prepare from the Book of Daniel

Daniel Chapter 7 - This dream parallels Chapter 2 but furnishes much more information on the end time political government now in early stages of formation. Read the whole chapter. Focus on Verses 13-14 describing the one and only second coming of Yeshua. This matches with Revelation 19.11-21.

The words “meeting in the air” in 1 Thessalonians 4.17 in Hebrew means, “meet and continue on to the destination together.” Mediate on that. What does that mean? We will explain later.

Verses 19-28 are about the 4th Kingdom (also in ch 2) and how it overcomes the saints Until the Ancient of Days returns and saves us—at the end. Note verse 21-22-the horn prevailed against the saints until the Ancient of Days CAME and judgment was given to the saints. We will be judging the wicked along with our King at some point of the process.

Also note verse 25 how the Antichrist will change the times and laws. This will be the beginning of the final 3.5 years of tribulation. We are going through persecution/tribulation while wrath is poured out upon the unrighteous who refuse to repent. In their anger they are persecuting us at the same time wrath is being poured out upon them!

Verse 27 at the end the kingdom is finally given to the saints. This occurs shortly after we meet Him in the air.

Chapter 8 - Endgame info continues. Focus on verses 9-14. Especially the part about the ending of the daily sacrifices which is at the end of the first 3.5 years. At this point the AC defiles the sanctuary and declares himself god.
The rest of the chapter also describes things that will be happening during the final 3.5 years.

This chapter is also describing some historical events which have already occurred but are a type of what’s to come in our day. Now verses 8.24-27 are for us in the latter days: v26 – The vision of the evening and morning which was told is true—shut up the vision for it shall be for many days (means far future). These are the stopping of sacrifices. The end time Temple will reintroduce the animal sacrifices. Midway after 3.5 years the AC will terminate them and declare himself a god. Chapter 9 verses 23-27 – picks up again on the 70 weeks prophecy. Verse 25 is about the decree to allow the Jews in Babylon to return and build the 2nd Temple. It is telling us the first week is the 49 years it will take to rebuild the temple. The next 62 weeks equal 434 years. These 69 weeks equal 483 years from the decree to return and build the temple up to  Yeshua coming into Jerusalem the last week of His life and His crucifixion at the end of that week (483 yrs =69 x 7). 483 years of weeks from decree to build until crucifixion.

Verse 26 = 62 weeks from the completion of the temple until the death of Messiah (7 and 62 = 69 weeks).

The 70th and final week is the 7 year tribulation and wrath week. Verse 27 confirms the sacrifices end in the midst or middle of that week. We are still here that final week. Some will be protected some will be martyrs. There are other scriptures I can share on that later.

Chapter 12 then gives more information about what happens after the sacrifices are ended and the abomination is set up in the Temple. This is the final 3.5 years. Focus on verses 9-13. This occurs after the daily sacrifice is taken away in Daniel 8). The additional 45 days most likely have something to do with the month of Elul and first 15 days of Tishri. I am still seeking understanding of this (for two years already!) so I will leave it alone for now.

Mathew 24

After this read Matthew 24 carefully. Verse 3 – The Apostles say, “Tell us the end of this world.” Right there they ask about the end. So all that follows about tribulation is about what will come to them and us!

Verses 5-8 describe the beginning of sorrows their time and ours! Verses 9 - 14 what happened to the apostles and will to those who will come after them. The ungodly hate Elohim’s people!

Verses 15 - 22 are a dual prophecy describing the destruction of the temple in 70 AD and what will happen the final 3.5 years of the end of the age. Note the reference to the abomination in Daniel! Yeshua is telling us to understand and read Daniel so we know what is coming and can prepare our hearts and minds for difficult times.

We are not appointed to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess 5.9). The wicked are to suffer that wrath of God. The people of Yeshua however, are suffering the persecution of those who are experiencing the wrath of God! All those who follow Yeshua in those days will experience the persecution of the wicked who are angry at Yahweh and His followers.

This confirms Daniel 7 and 8. Verses 23 - 28 turmoil in the last days. Verses 29 - 35 “Immediately”, means right
after the tribulation persecution) of those days the Son of Man appears in the clouds. This is the sound of the Trumpet and his return to save us before he pours out wrath on the wicked. The only time he comes is at the END of ALL these things. We only meet in the air at that time. This is our “obtaining salvation” moment.

In verse 13 Yeshua tells us to endure to the end for our salvation.

We continue with Him to the battle at Armageddon (Revelation 19) and then Revelation 20 continues descripting other events to follow. The meeting in the air is meeting up with King Yeshua and continuing on to the final destination and victory over His enemies!

I am using many scriptures to allow the Bible to interpret itself. I’m not taking a single verse but many scriptures from various books in order to piece it together. This takes time and prayer. I pray this will help you understand these difficult passages. Carefully read the entire chapter of Matthew 24. Yeshua was preparing the final generation for very difficult times. He never said, “You will be raptured out, don’t worry.” He was giving us a final warning of the tribulation and to be prepared.
