OUR RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD – NEW BODIES AND ETERNAL LIFE

In order to prepare please read John 5.19-47, John 6.33-48, John 11.1-46, 1 Corinthians 15.12-58, I Thessalonians 4.13-18, and Revelation 20.

This will be a short and to the point post. Many have a tendency to say, “We are going to spend eternity in heaven with the Lord.” This is not what Yeshua taught. The scriptures above make this point quite clear.

Yeshua said that anyone who believed in Him would be resurrected from the dead and have eternal life. He is the first fruits of those whom will be resurrected from the dead. This is what He was teaching in John 5 and 11.

The teaching by the Apostle Paul in Thessalonians 4.13-18 describe what will happen when Yeshua returns on the “last day” as recorded in John 6.44. Let’s look at this in chronological order:

John 5.19-47 – Yeshua is teaching that He will quicken the dead (those in the grave, also in Hebrew Sheol and in Greek Hades; all mean the grave.) when He returns. John 5.24-25 says those who believe will have everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation. The dead will hear His voice and shall live. John 5.29 says those who have done good, are resurrected into life, and those who have done evil unto “damnation” which in Strong’s 2920 means “judgement”. Keep this in mind as we go forward.

John 6.33-48 – In this passage Yeshua says, “I will raise him up (the dead) on the last day four times! When is the last day?

Thessalonians 4.13-18 – The Apostle Paul is describing Yeshua’s return on the last day! Those who are dead and buried will rise up at this time and those who are alive will meet with Him in the air! There is only one second coming—on the last day. Ref: Zechariah 12.9-14.

1 Corinthians 15 – This is the ultimate chapter describing our resurrection from the dead. If Christ is not risen our faith is in vain, verses 13-18. Note that Paul says in verse 18 that if there is no resurrection those who have “fallen asleep” meaning those whom have died, that their faith would be in vain!

Verses 41-50 Paul describes the difference between our fleshly body vs. a spiritual body. Then in verses 51—58 he explains how our bodies will be changed in the “twinkling of an eye” into a incorruptible spiritual body. Then he says at this time DEATH, (the grave, hades, Sheol, hell) will be swallowed up in victory!

We do not go to heaven when we die—we go to sleep in the grave waiting to hear His voice to rise us up into eternal life! Where does this eternal life begin? In the Thousand Year Millennial Kingdom, MK.

Revelation 20 – In Revelation 19 we see the second coming of Yeshua. Then Revelation 20 describes what happens next. The Devil is locked up for a thousand years, rewards are given to martyrs and those who had not worshipped the beast. Verse 5 says this is the first resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4.13-18) of those who rule and reign with Him for a thousand years. On these the “second death” has no power.

After a thousand years Satan is let out of the pit/prison to deceive the nations. These nations are those who survived the tribulation and were ushered into the MK to be taught by those who rule and reign with Christ/Yeshua.

The nations now rebel for the final time, proving how wicked the human heart is, Jeremiah 17.9, the final justification of God’s righteousness. In Revelation 21 we will see the new heaven, and earth along with the New Jerusalem.

The Great White Throne Judgment then begins as this is the second death/resurrection of unbelievers. Those not found in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire at this time. They have not been burning in hell. They were dead in the grave awaiting their resurrection to judgment as in John 5.29.

They were not burning in hell up to this time because they had not yet received their eternal judgment. This is their conviction and sentencing day. God is just and has waited to judge them on this day.

If you can see, hear, and understand this you will be energized in knowing the truth of the Holy Scriptures and God’s plan. We have not been taught correctly about what happens when we die. We are asleep (dead) in the grave awaiting His call. This is what Jesus was teaching in John 11 when He raised Lazarus from the dead!

This may be hard for you to accept but this is what the scriptures teach. Search the Old Testament on the word sleep, dead/death, hell/hades/sheol and it will confirm all. Use a Concordance to understand the Hebrew words.

Note: It is important to allow the Bible to interpret itself and read all scripture in context of the verse which surround it.

Finally John 3.13 and Acts 2.34 confirm that no man has ascended into heaven except Jesus/Yeshua.

My prayer is whomever reads this will seek the truth by seriously seeking our Father for understanding. It will help you understand many of those questions you’ve had for many years!

Is The Stunning Peace Deal Between Israel And The UAE A Prelude To Formally Dividing The Land Of Israel?

God is moving sovereignly in the Middle East and it will take years for this to play out.

Last week’s surprise announcement of a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates caught just about everyone by surprise.  I hadn’t heard anything about a potential deal in the works, and the mainstream media in the western world was completely blindsided by the deal.  But this has become Israel’s pattern in recent decades.  The Oslo Accords, Israel’s peace deal with Jordan and other agreements were negotiated under a cloak of total secrecy because officials didn’t want public sentiment to potentially destroy negotiations.  And there could potentially be other “peace deals” in the works right now that we don’t know anything about.

President Trump is touting this as a major diplomatic victory, and he is hoping that it will sway some votes in November.  At this juncture, Trump is trailing badly in most polls and he needs another miracle like we witnessed in 2016.

But it was really Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that was the driving force behind this deal.  He has been seeking to build relations with the UAE for many, many years, and this deal is the culmination of those efforts.

In order to get this deal, however, Netanyahu had to agree not to annex any land in the West Bank…

The United Arab Emirates has normalised relations with Israel in a historic US-brokered deal that “suspends” Israeli annexation of occupied land sought by the Palestinians for their future state.

The surprise agreement, initially announced by the US president, Donald Trump, makes the UAE the first Gulf country and only the third Arab nation in the world to have active diplomatic ties with Israel, joining Egypt and Jordan.

annexed those lands, it would have killed any international efforts to create a Palestinian state.

But now that annexation is completely dead, the potential for a “peace deal” that would create a Palestinian state is very much alive.

According to the New York Times, the relationship between Israel and the UAE “had been building quietly for years”, and according to a British news source this peace agreement will also open a door for “deals on direct flights, security, telecommunications, energy, tourism and healthcare”…

A joint statement from the US, the UAE and Israel said delegations will meet in the coming weeks to sign deals on direct flights, security, telecommunications, energy, tourism and healthcare.

They are expected soon to exchange ambassadors and embassies and a signing ceremony is due to be held at the White House.

Ultimately, peace in the Middle East is something that we should all want, but at what cost has it been achieved?

It appears that West Bank annexation will never happen now, and we are being told that Netanyahu “traded it away” for a goal that was even more important to him…

In an ironic twist, that plan became the catalyst that finally gave Mr. Netanyahu the opening he had long sought. With pressure building for him to drop the annexation plan, he traded it away for something he wanted even more.

This may help Netanyahu win some moderate votes in the next election, but there are many conservatives in Israel that feel like they have been played and are not happy with Netanyahu right now at all.

Of course Netanyahu is not going to stop with the UAE.  According to Reuters, Bahrain and Oman could also soon normalize relations with Israel…

Bahrain and Oman could be the next Gulf countries to follow the United Arab Emirates in formalising ties with Israel, Israel’s intelligence minister said on Sunday.

In fact, Netanyahu has actually publicly admitted that he has been speaking with the leaders of Oman and “other countries” in the region…

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News on Sunday that he has been speaking with leaders from Arab countries in addition to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) following the American-mediated peace deal announced last week between the two countries.

He stated that he spoke with political leaders in Oman and “other countries,” and that the key to such discussions is discretion.

In the end, many believe that all of this diplomacy is all about Iran.

In recent years, Netanyahu has relentlessly been attempting to unite as much of the Middle East as possible against Iran.  The Israelis believe that a conflict with Iran is probably inevitable, and so they would like to isolate the Iranians as much as they can.

Of course many Sunni governments in the region have long been hostile toward the radical Shiite regime in Tehran.  In particular, the Saudis would love to see the Iranian “problem” go away, and so they have a strategic interest in working with Israel toward that goal.

As Israel and the various Sunni governments across the Middle East become increasingly cozy, could this create an environment that will eventually lead to an agreement to create a Palestinian state?

I think that this is a very important question to ask at this point.

Needless to say, most of the rest of the world would greatly rejoice if a peace agreement could be reached that would finally create a Palestinian state, dividing the land of Israel. Many had assumed that a conservative like Netanyahu would never be willing to give up land for an agreement that would guarantee “lasting peace”, but the agreement that he just reached with the UAE may suggest otherwise.

If Netanyahu is willing to permanently sacrifice dreams of annexing portions of Judea and Samaria for a peace agreement with the UAE, what would he be willing to do for a comprehensive peace agreement with all of the Sunni governments in the region?

Peace can be a very seductive mistress, and I have a feeling that we are about to see things happen in the Middle East that many thought would never be possible.

Additional Notes:

Many Bible Prophecy experts have been watching for the emergence of an agreement/covenant between Israel and "many" for a period of seven years.  This prophetic event is found in Daniel 9:27.  The signing of such an agreement will introduce the final 7 year period laid out in Daniel's 70 Weeks prophecy which is often called the Tribulation period.  

It is during this period that the majority of the events of the book of Revelation are fulfilled.  Of particular importance in this 7 year timeline is what is often called the "abomination of desolation" which involves the Antichrist desecrating the rebuilt Jewish temple 3.5 years after this agreement is signed, stopping the sacrifices.

People have begun to wonder if this new agreement with the UAE will play a role in the fulfillment of this prophecy.  It is possible but at this point it is far from fulfilling the many requirements of Daniel's prophecy.  Here is a breakdown of what Daniel 9:27 describes vs what we see happening today:

1. Israel's agreement with "many".  - At this point it is only the UAE however there is speculation that Bahrain, Oman, Morocco and Saudi Arabia may all be future participants.  If expanded to other nations it would meet the requirement of the "many".

2. It is a treaty that will be "confirmed", suggesting the guaranteeing or ratifying of an existing treaty.  This treaty may possibly set the stage for an initial agreement that is later confirmed or guaranteed by an outside party (The Antichrist).

3. "He" - who is the "he" that confirms this treaty and breaks it 3.5 years later by desecrating the Jewish temple?  The Bible describes him as "the Beast" in Revelation 13 - or Antichrist as he is commonly called and he is to be the leader of a 10 king/10 nation confederacy.  There is no current world leader who heads up a 10 nation confederacy or meets the other requirements described of the Antichrist.

4. "seven years" - The treaty in Daniel is described as being for a period of one seven or seven years.  This treaty doesn't meet that requirement in it's current form.  Most treaties signed these days are for an indeterminate time - meant to be long lasting.  It seems unlikely that any new agreement would be only for 7 years.  Why this treaty in Daniel would be for 7 years remains a mystery.

5. "abomination of desolation" - in order to desecrate the temple and stop the sacrifice 3.5 years after the agreement - you have to have a temple built in the first place.  There are significant developments to help bring about the restoration of the temple and include everything from training Temple priests and creating temple instruments - to the hope that qualifying red heifers have been found as we included in today's newsletter.  Will efforts to rebuild the Jewish temple be part of a future peace agreement?  It seems unlikely in the near future so this remains a major hurdle.

A more likely scenario.  The War of Pslam 83 - then Daniel 9:27 peace.

This agreement with the UAE is likely first step to peace with the gulf nations including Saudi Arabia.  All of these nations live in fear of Iran and Israel could be their most strategic ally to counter Iran's aggression. 

Note it is only a verbal protest as these nations are not strong enough militarily to take on Iran let alone any other invading nations.  Why does the Bible even bother to mention their protest?  It could very well be to signify this new direction by some Arab states to make peace with Israel. 

The conflict described in Psalm 83 which has many of Israel's neighbors coming against Israel is a war that results in their defeat.  After the defeat of so many nations who come against Israel it would not be surprising to see a larger peace treaty that involves a limited time (7 years) and the restoration of the Jewish temple - as the Arab world would no longer be strong enough to oppose it.  

The world would demand of course that an agreement be ratified/guaranteed by an outside power - such as the leader of this new 10 nation alliance (yet to be seen on the world stage).

Ultimately these are speculations to how things might play out but God's ways are not our ways and we can't put God in a box of newspaper headlines. However we need to be aware of what the Bible says will happen in the last days and while the details as to how we get there may be foggy - God will be faithful to fulfill them.

PSALM 37 – A PSALM FOR THE CURRENT CRISIS PROVIDES COMFORT AND TEACHES US TO SEEK HIS WAY

Psalm 37 in the Hebrew interpretation should be considered a wisdom psalm. This is wisdom from above and a manual for us during the current crisis. It has helped me enormously to wait, rest, trust, and keep my fretting to a minimum.

The psalm expresses that ultimately the righteous will succeed and “inherit” the land. This is a major theme of the psalm, that we will inherit the land.

Inherit the land also has a future meaning. This would be the 1,000 year future Millennial Kingdom (MK) when we are resurrected from the dead. Revelation 20 gives a brief description of that time and the White Throne Judgment which follows after the MK.

Additional scriptures are found in Zechariah 12-14 and Isaiah 60-66. In fact, all the books of the prophets mention the MK throughout the Old Testament. This is not a topic normally taught in mainstream church. Believers are too focused on “going to heaven” when the real place we are going is the Thousand Year MK.

The authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls wrote a commentary on Psalm 37 applying it to their situation two thousand years ago. They viewed the Pharisees and Sadducees as the wicked and corrupt. The Dead Sea Scroll writers saw themselves as the remnant of true followers who would inherit the land in the future MK.

A few high points of Psalm 37 by verse:

1-2 - Encourage us not to be vexed by the apparent success of evil doers. They will eventually be cut down and wither like the grass. “Cut off” refers to the land inheritance as they will be “cut out” of their portion.

3-6 – We are to trust, delight, and commit to our Lord. He promises he will bring forth our righteousness and the light and judgment as the noon day. This, of course, is not our righteousness, but His. We are his disciples and are walking in His ways.

7 – 11 – Rest and wait patiently. This is sometimes quite difficult because we are impatient people. We want action and want it NOW! Our God wants us to wait on Him and release the anger and violence rising in our hearts as we watch what is happening around us. We are told to wait a little while and the wicked will not be. Then the clincher: The meek will inherit the earth!

This does not mean we cannot take action but we are to wait on His instructions before we act. The word “meek” means to be humble, afflicted, poor, in the sense of that is how we are feeling as we see wickedness around us. Very different from anger and worry.

I have been told by a friend of mine that this word meek also implies something very powerful. It means we are meek because we know the tremendous power of God and how He could easily destroy the wicked in a blink of an eye.

This is what it meant in Numbers 12.3 where it says “The man Moses was very meek above all the men on the earth.” He knew the power of God. He had been on the mountain top. He had the fear of God in him…he was the leader of the nation. He knew God was behind him, backing him up. He was careful how he acted towards the people out of the fear of what God could do to them. Think meek!

12-13 – The wicked are always plotting and grinds his teeth at the righteous, but our Father God is laughing at them!

14-15 – The wicked have drawn out their swords and bows. The sword are their words which they fire with their bows. Their words are going to pierce their own hearts and their bows and arms will be broken.

This is great hope for the indictments which are now being released by the Department of Justice against the treasonous politicians and pedophiles. We have hope that justice is coming. Their words were lies and now are coming back to pierce them!

16 – 21 – Continues with varying fates of the wicked vs. the righteous. The Lord knows the upright and they will receive their inheritance—this is going to be our great reward in the MK.

The wicked will perish. They are the enemies of the Lord of Hosts (Commander in Chief) and they will consume away like the fat of the lambs sacrificed on the altars…they will go up in smoke!

23 - 24 – The steps of good men and women are established by the Lord. This is why we wait, rest, trust, and commit to Him. Don’t let your anger force you to do something stupid! When we fall or fail He will lift us up again—and we will fall along the way!

Six times in this psalm it says “inherit the land.” This is exceedingly important. It has dual meaning. It gives us hope that He will turn our nation back through our efforts in Him—it’s not our power—but it is His Spirit working through those who are obedient.

It says wait four times in this psalm. It is so hard to wait when we see what is happening. This does not mean we cannot take action. It means wait for His word to release us to action. That is not easy.

31 – The Law of God needs to be in our hearts. Then our steps will be sure, not slippery. This means we are to act with character and not stoop to the methods of the wicked. We must operate “by the book” in order to win. Easier said then done! But we must do all in righteousness.

35 – 40 – The wicked appear to be winning but in the long term they are going to be defeated. Our ultimate salvation is of the Lord. He is our strength in time of trouble. The Lord will help those who wait for His salvation. He will deliver us and save us!

Don’t go looking for trouble—wait for it to come to you! You are allowed to defend yourself when trouble comes. Just don’t go out there looking for it. This is part of what this psalm is telling us.

Wait and be prepared. Pray for the righteous government, police, National Guard to be successful against enemies of the state. If it comes to your door be prepared to take action to keep your family safe. Please, do not go looking for trouble. God is in control. He may not protect you if you’re looking for trouble. But if it comes to you it is OK for you to take action.

This psalm has a future meaning. It is not all about this brief life we live. Read Corinthians 15 and you see how our mortal bodies will be transformed on resurrection day. We will be kings, priests, and teachers in the MK.

We will be receiving an inheritance in the Land during that time (Ezekiel 47). We are grafted into Israel (Romans 9 thru 11). We are promised an inheritance within a tribe of Israel. There are many articles on this blog about this—take the time to seek them out if you are really interested.

Read Psalm 37 and soak in the wisdom. God bless and let’s pray in the victory this November 3^rd. There is much at stake.

Our President has been in office for just over 3 years and what has he done? Other than dodging the vile, fake news media, along with Pelosi and Schumer?!?

* Trump recently signed 3 bills to benefit Native people. One gives compensation to the Spokane tribe for loss of their lands in the mid-1900s, one funds Native language programs, and the third gives federal recognition to the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Montana.

* Trump finalized the creation of Space Force as our 6th Military branch.

* Trump signed a law to make cruelty to animals a federal felony so that animal abusers face tougher consequences.👀👀

* Violent crime has fallen every year he’s been in office after rising during the 2 years before he was elected.

* Trump signed a bill making CBD and Hemp legal.👀👀

* Trump’s EPA gave $100 million to fix the water infrastructure problem in Flint, Michigan.

* Under Trump’s leadership, in 2018 the U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of crude oil.

* Trump signed a law ending the gag orders on Pharmacists that prevented them from sharing money-saving information.

* Trump signed the “Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act” (FOSTA), which includes the “Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act” (SESTA) which both give law enforcement and victims new tools to fight sex trafficking.👀👀

* Trump signed a bill to require airports to provide spaces for breastfeeding Moms.

* The 25% lowest-paid Americans enjoyed a 4.5% income boost in November 2019, which outpaces a 2.9% gain in earnings for the country's highest-paid workers.

* Low-wage workers are benefiting from higher minimum wages and from corporations that are increasing entry-level pay.

* Trump signed the biggest wilderness protection & conservation bill in a decade and designated 375,000 acres as protected land.

* Trump signed the Save our Seas Act which funds $10 million per year to clean tons of plastic & garbage from the ocean.👀👀

* He signed a bill this year allowing some drug imports from Canada so that prescription prices would go down.

* Trump signed an executive order this year that forces all healthcare providers to disclose the cost of their services so that Americans can comparison shop and know how much fewer providers charge insurance companies.

* When signing that bill he said no American should be blindsided by bills for medical services they never agreed to in advance.

* Hospitals will now be required to post their standard charges for services, which include the discounted price a hospital is willing to accept.

* In the eight years prior to President Trump’s inauguration, prescription drug prices increased by an average of 3.6% per year. Under Trump, drug prices have seen year-over-year declines in nine of the last ten months, with a 1.1% drop as of the most recent month.

* He created a White House VA Hotline to help veterans and principally staffed it with veterans and direct family members of veterans.👀👀

* VA employees are being held accountable for poor performance, with more than 4,000 VA employees removed, demoted, and suspended so far.

A CALL TO PRAYER IN WASHINGTON DC – THE BIBLICAL MONTH OF ELUL – CRITICAL AND SERIOUS

Well known Christian leader Jonathan Cahn author of the Harbinger says if America does not return to God we many never recover from what is coming. He bases his concern on the Biblical account of the ancient nation of Israel which had a civil war and split into Judah and Israel. These scriptural accounts are in the books of Kings and Chronicles.

When the nation became corrupt and turned away from their God they were attacked by pagan nations and taken captivity. The northern kingdom of Israel was attacked by Assyria and were scattered among the surrounding nations never to return.

The southern kingdom of Judah were attacked about 120 years later by Babylon and taken captive. They were able to return 70 years later and rebuild their Temple. They are the modern nation of Jewish Israel today.

The books of the prophets detail the message to both kingdoms warning them to return to the Lord Yehovah. The people refused and the nation spiraled into lawlessness and fell to the foreign powers.

This is an example of the current political and turning away from God in the USA and western nations today, Mr. Cahn warns. He is organizing a “National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance” culminating on September 26, 2020.

Mr. Cahn is a Jewish believer in Yeshua and has quiet a prophetic ministry. He came to prominence in 2001 when the twin towers in New York City were struck down on 9/11.

THE BIBLICAL CALENDAR

The Father was just bringing me into a knowledge of the Biblical calendar when I first was given CD’s on Mr. Cahn’s warnings concerning 9/11. This prompted me to study the Biblical calendar in detail and was an exciting revelation to me. If you read the book you will understand.

The Biblical calendar is different from the present Gregorian Roman Calendar the western nations observe. Mr. Cahn points out how prophetic events are unfolding according to and in sync with the Biblical calendar and Feast days.

The Biblical Fall Feasts occur during the Biblical month of Tishri which is the 7^th month of the Biblical year. These fall feasts are: Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and Tabernacles (Sukkot). Search this blog for more info on these feasts.

These feasts or “appointed times” on God’s calendar are prophetic dress rehearsals for the return of Yeshua and the establishment of the thousand year Millennial Kingdom. THE MONTH OF ELUL

The month prior to Tishri is the 6^th month of Elul. This month is considered to be a month of preparation and individual repentance. It is a time to begin to get right with our Father and Creator and confess our sins. It is a time of reflection and adjustment.

As followers of Jesus/Yeshua it is a time to prepare for the three upcoming fall feasts (appointed times). With the current political situation in the USA and other nations this is the month to cry out to God for direction and understanding of these times and count the cost of being Yeshua’s disciples.

THE FALL FEASTS – GOD’S APPOINTED TIMES AND DRESS REHEARSAL

I’ll end this brief article with a short description of these appointed times.

Trumpets (Yom Teruah) is the sounding of the trumpets announcing the second coming of Messiah Yeshua. The Apostle Paul describes this in 1 Thessalonians 4.13-18. It is a dress rehearsal for that day when the sound of the trumpets announce His return.

Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) is the day of wrath for the wicked (Matthew 13.24-30; 36-43). It is also the day of redemption for the righteous! The parable shows the wheat and tares gathered at the same time. The wicked are thrown into the fire—the wrath of God—the righteous are safely gathered into the barn.

Tabernacles (Sukkot) – This is rehearsal for the Wedding Feast of the Lamb when God comes and tabernacles with His people. In Israel booths with palm leaf roofs are set up and people gather and rejoice during this time as the grape harvest is gathered in. It is the fall harvest which represents the final harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God (Revelation 21.1-8).
