Cleansing the Land of blood - Satanic Rebellion Crushed

The following thoughts are for you to seriously consider as we move into perilous times. When we truly allow the Bible to interpret itself we come to a place where we must examine our past "traditions." This will cause us to re-read and seek the truth. Unfortunately many of our traditions are not true--we have been taught what man wants us to believe. This article covers some areas in which we may have been misled due to a lack of understanding Old Testament concepts in the book of Revelation.

The following are some of my thoughts on the New Jerusalem after reading the Book of Revelation. These thoughts also consider that there may be two Gog and Magog battles on the earth. I lean towards there being only one Gog Magog battle--the one described in Revelation 20. If my theory is correct, and at this point it is only a theory based on my studies, then the Ezekiel 38-39 chapters are not describing Armageddon as many believe, but rather the Revelation 20 battle which occurs after the Millennial Kingdom.

In any event I am “putting it out there” for those who are interested in these things to prayerfully consider. Could Ezekiel 38 and 39 be describing the battle after the millennium? Ezekiel 38.8 could be describing the end of the millennium and this battle taking place at that time. Ref: Rev 20.7-10. Your comments and thoughts will be appreciated and prayerfully considered!

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. Rev 20.7-9

This Gog and Magog battle is after the thousand year millennium. After this battle comes the Great White Throne judgment in vv 11-15.

In chapter 21 we see the New Heaven and New Earth with no more sea. Later John is carried away and shown the Holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven. Her walls are described and the twelve foundations with the names of the twelve apostles of the Lord. This is a type of Ezekiel’s temple in Ezekiel 40-48. The holy Jerusalem is on the New Earth. Then:

But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Rev 21.22-27

Nations are walking in its light, kings of the earth bring their glory into it. Activity is taking place. The Lord becomes the temple in holy Jerusalem. He is ruling from there. What is he ruling? He is ruling the earth; and from Jerusalem the entire universe. The groaning creation, the universe is beginning to be restored. Man, those who believed, will rule and reign with God in the entire universe! All things will be restored to God’s original intent and we will be working with Him to accomplish the task!

In chapter 22 we see a river of life and trees of life for the healing of the nations. The millennium is over and in verse 3 it says: And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

We are most likely serving in a “universal” capacity. It is not the end of time as far as God reckons--He has eternity.

Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 - 39

It is not entirely clear if this is the Armageddon war of Rev 16 or the war in Rev 20. Ezek 38.18-23 describes action that could totally destroy the earth and make a new earth and heaven likely. In Ezek 39.1-7 it sounds like the Rev 19 Armageddon battle with the birds eating the flesh of the dead. The only thing certain is that Rev 20.7-8 says that a Gog and Magog battle takes place after the thousand year millennium. That alone is clear.

In Ezek 39.12-13 it says that it will take six months to bury the dead and cleanse the land of blood. Before the new earth and new heavens come down the land would have to be cleansed. Revelation 20 speaks of the Great White Throne judgment and then Rev 21 talks about the new heaven and earth. It does not give a time table for how long after the battle it is before the new heaven and earth come down. Based on God’s blood laws in the Old Testament the earth would have to be cleansed before that could happen.

Just as in ancient Israel when the people sinned and turned away from the Lord the temple had to be cleansed. The new heaven and earth will house the new temple--the Lord will be the temple in the holy Jerusalem. So the cleansing of the earth prior to the new heaven and earth, which will be the new temple, would have to take place. Rev 22 is not the end of time but the beginning of the universe being restored and God’s people serving Him in that eternal task.

Blood Polluting the Land
Jewish study Bible: Job 16.18 -
Earth do not cover my blood, and let my cry have no resting place! Job does not want his suffering to be forgotten or unrequited. The idea behind this phrase is the belief that the blood of the innocent cries out from the ground, as in the case of Able (Gen 4.10, Ezek 24.7-8). In a ritual context, Lev 17.13 states that if an animal or bird is hunted down, its blood must be poured out and covered with earth in order for it to be permitted as food. More recently this has become associated with the Holocaust; it appears, for example, in an inscription in Warsaw marking the site where Jews were transported to Treblinka.

“Whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who hunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust; Leviticus 17:13

And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. Genesis 4.10

For her blood is in her midst; she set it on top of a rock; she did not pour it on the ground,
To cover it with dust. That it may raise up fury and take vengeance, I have set her blood on top of a rock, That it may not be covered.” Ezekiel 24:7-8

…And shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
and the land was polluted with blood. Psalm 106:38

So, you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it. Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel.” Numbers 35.33-34

Jewish Study Bible: Num 35.33 - The notion that bloodshed and other transgressions pollute the land, thereby endangering its inhabitants with divine wrath, is common in the Bible. (Gen 4.10; Lev 18.28; 2 Sam 21.1-14; Ezek 36.17-19; Hosea 4.2-3)

Hosea 4:2-3
By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed. Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; even the fish of the sea will be taken away.

Leviticus 18:28 "lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you."

Ezekiel 36:17-19
“Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity. Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it. So I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the countries; I judged them according to their ways and their deeds.

GOG AND MAGOG

Gomer, Magog, Meshech, and Tubal are sons of Japheth (son of Noah, Gen 10.2) who is associated with Europe and Asia beyond the Middle East. Ezekiel draws on Isaiah 14 when referring to the downfall of a ruler (a king or Satan) and Jeremiah 2 and 3 when he mentions a “foe from the north in his prophecies in Ezek 38 and 39.

Gog has been considered a transnational symbol of evil (as in Isaiah 34, 63.1-6, Malachi 1.2-5, Ex 15) So Gog could symbolize the satanic power behind these armies.

Ezekiel 38.18 thru 39.16 is the haftarah for the intermediate days of Sukkot when Exodus 33.12 thru 34.26 are read as Torah portion. The Exodus portion relates to God’s revelation to Moses and the restoration of the two tablets of the Ten Commandments he destroyed when returning from the mountain top after the golden calf incident. This is a shadow and corresponds to the restoration of Israel in Ezek 38.1 thru 39.16.

If we view this Gog and Magog battle in Rev 20 as these nations rebelling for the second time after the millennium it also fits with Moses having to go up to the mountain the second time for the ten commandments due to Israel’s disobedience. This second rebellion takes place after the millennium and then forever after there is peace on earth.

Seven months of burial purify the land so that God’s glory or presence may appear. There would have to be a cleansing of the land before the New Jerusalem could come down from heaven and become the temple of the Lord. There are many examples of temple cleansing in the O.T. prior to worship being restored.

The seven years of victory fires and burning weapons in the land (Ezek 39.8-10) may correspond to the seven year rest or “Shemita” that is designated in Lev 25.1-7; exodus 23.10-11; Deut 15.1-18. The “Shemita” was an agricultural and economic cycle of restoration of property to the people every seven years.

Ezek 39.17-29...feasts of birds and animals recall covenant curses in Deut 28.16-44 which are now applied to Israel’s enemies. (Deut 28.26; Lev 26.22)

 

These are some of my thoughts on these end time issues after seeking and waiting on the Lord for answers. The Old Testament, which contains God’s Torah or Law, answers many of the questions most of us have asked and never received a satisfactory answer on. I merely present these things as an example of how little we actually know and as an encouragement for us to study and get answers from the Lord that make sense.

 

Why are these end time things important? At some point there is going to be a great awakening and out pouring of God’s spirit on mankind as we enter into the tribulation period. Many of those who repent and turn to Yeshua will have questions we have not previously considered. In many cases the answers we give will be the difference for them to move on in the faith or fall back. End time questions will be on their minds during the difficult times ahead as they look to Yeshua’s second coming. A solid understanding of these things will strengthen the faith of all who are facing difficulties prior to restoration of God’s Millennial Kingdom. In other words the Bible has answers for the final generation prior to Yeshua’s second coming that until now have not been answered.

 

 VARIOUS END TIME SCENARIOS

 

1. THE MUSLIM ANTICHRIST - JOEL RICHARDSON www.joelstrumpet.com

 

Two Books:  God’s War on Terror and The Muslim Antichrist

 

Mr. Richardson has extensively studied the scriptures and believes that the Muslim world is the key to understanding the end times. Using the writings of the ancient prophets Mr. Richardson makes the case that the Muslim world will dominate the world at the end of the age and birth the antichrist. He is very knowledgeable on the tenants of the Muslim faith and their desire to destroy God’s people, the nation of Israel.

 

He sees the nations of Turkey and Iran forging an alliance with the other Muslim nations in an effort to eliminate Israel and dominate the world through the spread of Islam. The Turks would provide the long sought after Caliphate, or unifying religious leader that the Muslims are waiting for. Once a Caliphate is established this will pave the way for the return of the Islamic Messiah or Madhi.

 

The Mahdi or “One of the Moon” is the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will stay on Earth for seven, nine or nineteen years (according to various interpretations) before the Day of Judgment literally, (the Day of Resurrection) who will rid the world of wrongdoing, injustice and tyranny.

 

The Prophet Mohammad said: “The Mahdi is the protector of the knowledge, the heir to the knowledge of all the prophets, and is aware of all things. The dominion (authority) of the Mahdi is one of the proofs that God has created all things; these are so numerous that his [the Mahdi's] proofs will overcome (will be influential, will be dominant) everyone and nobody will have any counter-proposition against him.”

 

As we watch events unfolding in the Muslim world in our day it is certain that the world is facing a great conflict. Israel especially is being isolated from the world as the Muslim nations totally surround her. The stated goal of Iran and the great majority of Muslims is the total destruction of the nation of Israel.

 

The ideas and prophetic insights of Mr. Richardson stand on their own. The Muslim world will play a central role in the end of the age. 2. THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE

Another popular theory is the rise of the Holy Roman Empire in the form of a United States of Europe or what is referred to as the European Union (EU) today. This idea holds that the European Union will be welded together by a marriage of the Vatican and the EU, led politically by the nation of Germany. This religious and political union would unite Europe under a common religion and provide the political and military force needed to back the church.

 

In our day we see a strong Muslim presence in Europe which is causing great concern in the capitol’s of many countries. In Britain we already see Muslim Sharia law taking precedence over and above the law of the land. Muslims are taking over neighborhoods in many European countries and demanding the right to pray in the streets, thus disrupting traffic. Europeans are concerned that their local customs and way of life are being threatened by this onslaught.

 

The only organization that seems to be standing up to this Muslim threat is the Vatican led by Pope Benedict. He is speaking out against the brutal treatment of Christians in Muslim countries and has demanded freedom of religion for Christians in these countries.

 

At some point in time it seems reasonable to think that the European community will react to this Muslim presence that is threatening their customs and way of life. This could result in the expulsion of Muslims from the continent. A union of religion and political will could cause this scenario to take place.

 

At this time we see Germany rising to the forefront both economically and politically. They are most likely becoming the leader of the EU. Pope Benedict is German and he understands the Muslim threat. It is conceivable that in the future the Vatican and the EU, led by a militarily strong Germany, will stand up to this Muslim threat with force. It is important to watch events in Europe as well as the Muslim world as the scenario unfolds.

 

3. UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL RULE AND PROPOSED TRADE ZONES  In 1968 when the Club of Rome

(CR) was formed (see part 3) they came up with the idea of dividing the world into ten trade zones. These ideas were formed in order to maintain the unity of global thought. Most of the members of the Club of Rome were from the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderbergs.

 

In September of 1973 the CR published a confidential report entitled The Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System. This study proposed to divide the world into “ten kingdoms”, which is very intriguing when you consider that they would need “ten kings” to govern them.

 

This plan was later published in a book Mankind at the Turning Point, which serves as a New World Order directive for establishing ten regional blocks that encompass the entire world. This system is also promoted by the World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA) of Lakewood, Colorado. They call for the world to be divided up into ten magna-regions which are similar to the “ten kingdoms” of the CR.

 

“The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings” Daniel 7:23--24

 

4. ESTABISHED TRADE REGIONS

NAFTA - The North American Free Trade Agreement. This entity is far more than a free trade agreement. It is a plan to create a supranational regional block consisting of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This is the first phase of merging North America. It was promoted by the markets as something that would be good for the economies of North America and the world.

 

NAFTA instructs the IRS, a branch of American government, on how U.S. corporations must legally make their Federal Employee Tax Deposits. The order states: “Provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement legislation requires deposits to be by electronic fund transfer”

 

If NAFTA is only about free trade, why is it dictating to the Executive Branch of the US Government how American companies are to make their employee tax deposits? Is it because NAFTA’s purpose is to create a supranational region government in the future?

 

EUROPEAN UNION - This is the greatest move toward regionalization in the world today. The EU has effectively established the office of President and is struggling to preserve the union and currency (Euro) at this moment in time. It will be interesting to see how the current financial crises in the EU finally shakes out. Britain leaving the EU may be the beginning of the union’s consolidation into a leaner and more efficient trade block.

 

ASEAN - The Association of Southeast Asian Nations is an economic block of ten nations. This union has produced some remarkable influx of investment capital and economic growth in the region. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was established in 2001 by China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, The Kyrgyz Republic to develop trade and trust in the region.

 

SUMMARY

In order to understand the times and know what to do (1 Chronicles 12:32) we need to be able to see the hand of our sovereign God in the history of mankind. He moves according to His will and in His own time in the midst of heavenly/spiritual warfare. Just as we have obstacles in our lives, I believe God has obstacles in the revealing of and establishment of His eternal plan.

 

It is sometimes difficult for us to understand from our vantage point, and position in the universe, the purposes of God. The word tells us we are in a spiritual conflict. Ephesians 6:10 - 18 and that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God. 2 Corinthians 10:4. The question is: Do we really believe that there is a war going on? We can’t “see” it but it is surely raging all around us.

 

From the creation of the world in Genesis throughout the entire Bible until the last chapter of Revelation we see the sweeping spectacle of history (His story) from the vantage point of the Throne of God. From the fall of man until the physical establishment of the Kingdom in Jerusalem we see warfare and strife. Man cannot live in peace. Man rebels from the word of God and says “I can do it without God. I know a better way.”

 

In Ezekiel 28:12-19 and Isaiah 14:11-17 we see Satan/Lucifer cast like the stars from heaven. The heavenly rebellion that started in heaven was transported to earth. Lucifer became the “prince of this world” and rules by the “spirit of the world”. John 14:30 and Ephesians 2:2. Jesus defeated Lucifer when he destroyed sin and death on the cross.

 

The Lord was the first fruits risen from the dead and He is calling on us to overcome as He overcame and put His (and our) enemies under His/our feet. We are destined to reign and rule with Christ in glory. The apostle Paul saw this vision and was forever changed on that Damascus road.

 

In God’s time mankind has only experienced two days since Jesus rose from the dead. (2 Peter 3:8) During these two days starting with the Roman Empire many kingdoms have come and gone. We see Frankish empires, Papal empires, Chinese dynasties, Muslim, European (Napoleon, Nazi‘s), and countless empires rise and fall. All these empires in their power attempted to subject the known world unto them. They all failed. But the master conspirator, Lucifer, continues his plan to rule the world under his Babylonian government through unrighteous man.

 

Today is the dawning of the third day of History, the year 5771 according to the Hebrew calendar. Our Lord rose on the third day and God rested after the sixth day. The fig tree (Israel) is putting forth leaves (Matthew 24:32-34) the end of the age is near. No man knows the time or season but we see the signs all around us.

 

Men will scoff (2 Peter 3:3-9) and mock, but keep your eyes on the fig tree, the nation of Israel. That tree was planted in 1948 and signaled the dawning of the end of the age. We see the signs all around us in events in the Middle East, the banking and financial crises, and the apostasy of the age.

 

The technology to financially control the world is in place and available. The world organizations such as the United Nations and the world governing laws they hope to implement are here today. The rise of Islam and the falling away of the church are today’s news. We live in an exciting and dangerous age.

 

As the sovereignty of nations is eroded through financial crises, wars, and unrighteous laws we will see the greatest move of God the world has ever seen. Our sovereign God will speak and pour out His mercy a final time before He judges the earth and establishes His Kingdom. 2 Peter 3.13, Rev 21:1-3

 

This is a day to walk softly and seek the Lord.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HITLTER AND THE CROWN JEWELS

It is very interesting how historical events mirror the Book of Revelation. Hitler was enthralled with holy relics of the Catholic faith and tried to establish a thousand year Third Reich. When Yeshua returns at the end of this current age He will establish a thousand year reign. The following article reveals how Satan works to establish his false kingdom on earth.



In 1909, Hitler was living in Vienna, Austria. He was a struggling art student with large ambitions but little talent. One day, he visited the Kunsthistoriches Museum and entered room 11, where he saw the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels for this first time. He would have learned from the catalogue description near the display that the treasures on display were the ancient insignia of the German kings, passed down to each following ruler by divine right.

In Mein Kampf, he later wrote “During those years a view of life and a definite outlook on the world took shape in my mind. These became the granite basis of my conduct at that time. Since then I have extended that foundation only very little, and I have changed nothing in it.” The Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire were cherished symbols of the medieval concept of Catholic government. This idea began in 800, when the German King Charlemagne was crowned Roman Emperor by Pope Leo III and lasted more than one thousand years.

 

The Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire included the imperial crown, the orb, the scepter, and two swords. The crown was not round in shape, like most modern crowns, but octagonal with eight hinged plates rounded off at the top and a golden cross in the front. The orb was in the shape of a globe with a cross on top, symbolizing Christ’s authority over the world. The scepter was a ceremonial staff that represented the king’s authority.

At coronation ceremonies, the imperial sword of Saint Mauritius was always carried ahead of the king and pointed upward. It was different from the ceremonial sword, which the kind used to bestow knighthood on loyal subjects. Its handle had the imperial eagle, and the crossbar was inscribed with the words “Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus imperat” (Christ triumphs, Chris rules, Christ commands).

In the early medieval period, the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels moved with the emperor from city to city. In 1424, Holy Roman Empreror Sigismund placed the Holy Lance and Crown Jewels in Nurnberg where, by royal decree, they were to remain for the rest of eternity. Nurnberg was recognized as an “imperial city”, directly under the control of the Holy Roman Emperor. The Teutonic Knights, a special group of soldier-priests, received the duty of protecting the treasure.

Pilgrims came from far and near to see the Holy Lance and Crown Jewels. Their mystical powers were felt by townspeople and visiting royalty alike. Isabella of Spain sent a piece of fabric to Nurnberg to be pierced by the spear point so she could wear it close to her heart.

On April 4^th of 1561, the Nurnberg saw what has been described as a “war in the heavens.” Chroniclers wrote it was a “frightful spectacle” and “dreadful apparition.” According to them, this “celestial battle” in the sky ended with the sacred image of the triumphant Holy Lance.

 

Following the Reformation, some Protestants stopped believing in the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels. They claimed these sacred relics were ancient symbols that had become irrelevant in the “modern world”. German nun, Sister Anna Catherine Emmerich was asked to verify the authenticity of the Holy Lance. Many people had stopped believing it was the actual spear that had pierced Christ’s side during the crucifixion.

When Sister Anna Catherine touched the top of the Holy Lance, she had a mystic vision and a stigmatic wound appeared on her side. Astonished witnesses noticed that blood and water poured from the wound, which also flowed when Christ was pierced during the crucifixion. Their faith was restored.

 

However, the Holy Roman Empire was weakening. In 1796, the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels were removed to keep them from falling into the hands of Napoleon and the invading French army. Baron Charles von Hugel was given the mission to hide the Holy Lance and Crown Jewels in Regensburg, Germany. He had promised to return the collection to Nurnberg when Napoleon was defeated.

 

When peace was finally restored, the Holy Roman Empire had dissolved. Baron von Hugel took advantage of the situation and sold the Holy Lance and Crown Jewels to the Hapsburg family in Vienna, Austria. Nurnberg demanded they be returned, but the Austrian government refused. The royal decree made by Holy Roman Emperor Sigsimund, that the treasures were to remain in Nurnberg forever, was being ignored.

 

Hitler knew and studied these ancient Catholic legends. After he took power, he built a replica of the wooden shrine that held the treasures in Nurnberg during medieval times.

During the Nurnberg’s rallies held in 1933, the replica shrine was placed in the market square, just as they would have appeared centuries earlier during Feast of the Holy Lance

However, the shrine was empty. The Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire were in Vienna, Austria. Germany had been robbed of its Catholic spiritual legacy. Prior to the Nurnberg rallies in 1935, an expensive replica of the Holy Lance was created. It was presented to Hitler as a “symbol of unity, stature, power, and strength of the German nation.” Later, Hitler explained that the Holy Lance was a “symbol of German imperial power.”

 

When Germany annexed Austria in 1938, Waffen SS soldier Major Walter Buch disguised himself and traveled ahead to Vienna. He checked into a small hotel with a luger pistol and secret orders to defend the Holy Lance or Crown Jewels at the Kunsthistoriches Museum. He was ordered to kill anyone who might attempt to take them before the Storm Troopers could secure the city.

 

On March 12, German troops entered into Austria. Buch changed into his SS uniform and protected the treasure. Three days later, on the Catholic feast day of Saint Longinus, Buch removed the collection from the museum and presented them to Hitler. Buch raised his arm in a salute announced “Die Heilige Lanze, mein Fuhrer” (The Holy Lance, my Fuhrer).

 

Hitler didn’t just take the Holy Lance and the Crown Jewels though. After Austria was accepted into the Reich, the Austrian ambassador to Germany presented the treasures to the city of Nurnberg and returned the Crown Jewels to their real home.

 

The Holy Lance and Crown Jewels were escorted to Nurnberg on a heavily guarded eight-car train. The treasure arrived in Nurnberg on August 30, 1938. One week later, they were displayed in a special opening ceremony at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church.

 

Along with the Holy Lance and Crown Jewels, Hitler gathered a large collection of relics from the Holy Roman Empire. These included the royal slippers, gloves, stockings, vestments, and the embroidered silk coronation robe of the Holy Roman Emperor.

Hitler also collected the most valuable collection of holy relics outside of the Vatican. He had gathered a piece of wood from the True Cross, cloth from the robe worn by the apostle John, links from a chain that shackled Saint Paul, soil soaked with the blood of Saint Stephen, and a bone relic of Saint Maurice (the patron saint of the Holy Roman Empire).

 

These were the sacred treasures of the Holy Roman Empire, which Hitler called the “First” Reich. Therefore, he considered them treasures of his “Third”, and equally holy, Reich.

At the end of this current age the Anti-Christ will attempt to establish his own evil Reich. Amazing how history repeats!

VLADIMIR PUTIN AND RUSSIA

Today I am re-posting this article on Vladimir Putin and his vision for Russia. This was originally posted in November 2014

 Vladimir Putin has been described as a ruthless bully, and to some degree that is true, but there is much more to this man than the west wishes to believe. Mr. Putin is a shrewd ex-KGB operative who has a vision for his country. The Bible says: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he (Poverbs 29.18).

Interestingly enough, this proverb applies to Putin in every sense. He has a long range vision for his country and believes in keeping the law as it applies to Russia and international politics. He has been the President of Russia since 7 May 2012. He previously served as President from 2000 to 2008, and as Prime Mister of Russia from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2012. During his last term as Prime Minister, he was also the Chairman of United Russia , the ruling party.

He moved to Moscow, from St. Petersburg, where he was born, in 1996 and joined President Boris Yeltsin 's administration where he rose quickly, becoming Acting President on 31 December 1999 when Yeltsin resigned unexpectedly. Putin won the subsequent 2000 presidential election and was re-elected in 2004.

He has never been pleased with the fall of the Soviet Empire and dreams of restoring Russian’s former glory on the world stage. He has been planning for many years to make Russia a major world player through the use of her natural resources.

Russia is blessed with a wealth of oil, natural gas, LNG (Liquid Natural Gas), coal, and uranium. In the communist days these natural resources were totally mismanaged by the ruling Communists. Putin has always believed that the key to Russian Empire is to develop the natural resources that the world hungers for. Since taking power in Russia Putin has been focused on this very thing. All of his energy has been devoted to developing Russia’s energy, no pun intended.

Mr. Putin was born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) in 1952. His hero when growing up was Peter the Great who began to take Russia into the modern world during the latter part of the 1600’s and early 1700’s. He grew up poor but through his grandfather, Spiridon Ivanovich Putin, he had contact with the Russian elites of the day.

His grandfather was trained as a chef and cooked for Rasputin, Lenin, and Stalin! He managed to avoid political contamination and outlived all his famous employers. Until his death, when Putin was 13 years old, he shared many insights with his grandson Vladimir.

Around the age of 12, while his grandfather was still alive, Putin started boxing and then moved on to judo, karate, and the Soviet martial art sambo. He would go on to become the citywide sambo champion. He loved the spiritual and physical demands these martial arts demanded of him. They also taught him be smart, cunning , and, above all, tightly disciplined.

In the ninth grade Putin actually went to the KGB to find out how to get a job with them. They told him he should go to law school which he did. When he graduated law school in 1975 the KGB recruited him. For the next 16 years he worked as an intelligence agent, was fluent in German, and was stationed in East Germany for five years in the 1980’s.

He resigned from the KGB in 1991 and returned to the Leningrad State University where he wrote his doctoral thesis on Russia’s economic resources being a key to Russian success and empire. After college, Putin entered politics in St. Petersburg, where he fostered a relationship with Dmitry Medvedev.

Later after entering polictics Boris Yeltsin would name Putin as his successor after Putin put down the rebellion in Chechnya. To make a long story short, Putin was first elected President in 2000 and has shared this position with Dmitry Medvedev since then.

During Putin’s rule of Russia he has seized control of Russian energy companies which had been privatized during Yeltsin’s time in power. He has accomplished this by working “legally” through Russian law and by disposing the rich Oligarch’s who had bought these companies at pennies to the dollar when the Soviet Union fell in 1998.

These companies are now partly owned by government and share holders. Putin has taken control and they are now not only profitable, but developing Russia’s natural resources at a fast pace. Russia supplies anywhere form 25% to 90% of many European nation’s gas and oil needs. Europe depends on Russian oil and gas to stay warm in winter. Putin can shut off the tap at any provocation. Think about how this affects American influence in the region!

Russia recently closed two 400 billion dollar energy deals with the Chinese. They trade with Iran, Turkey, India, Pakistan, and all the other “stans” in their geopolitical area. They are the energy power in Europe and Eurasia. Putin knows how to use this energy power to Russia’s advantage.

He also supplies Syria and other Muslim countries with oil and gas. He has made a deal with Israel to develop the gigantic gas deposits off the coast of Israel. Russian energy tentacles have hold on countries throughout the Mediterranean to Japan. They are truly becoming a powerful and wealthy nation through this industry.

As I’ve pointed out in previous postings a new world currency is on the horizon. Russian energy is being sold and traded in currencies other than the US dollar as I write. Putin’s plan is to use the Russian Ruble, gold, the Chinese Yuan, or any other national currency to conduct trade--to the exclusion of the US dollar.

Those countries that trade with Russia will be pleased to trade in their own currencies as it will be cheaper and easier for them to conduct trade without having to stock pile dollars. This is how the dollar is going to be dethroned from being the world’s reserve currency. This is Putin’s long range carefully planned strategy. This will have a huge affect on America’s ability to finance her debt.

In the United States politicians only worry about getting elected every four years by promising the voters hand outs. In Russia they have a long range goal to become the world’s premier supplier of gas, oil, coal, and uranium. This will give them great leverage over the countries that depend on them for these resources. You can see where this is leading.

This is going to have a great impact on events in the Middle East that concern Biblical prophecy. Russia is going to be a major player in end time events that include Islam, Europe, and Israel. Keep this in mind as we continue this series.
